Terry Chew - who is he at all?🤔
He is the founder of Terry Chew Academy in Singapore. TCA
He is the first author in Singapore to publish a Maths Olympiad workbook series since 2007. He is also the author of 'Wicked Mathematics', which helps mainstream maths students achieve an A* for the PSLE by equipping them with essential problem-solving strategies and tools in 28 lessons.

1) What does SEAMO stand for?
Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad.
20+ countries from Asia, Europe, Middle East and Australia.
It was founded by 3 math experts from Australia and Singapore in 2016. Terry Chew is the chief examiner of SEAMO.
All school students from grade 1 to 11.
National round is in 3 languages English, Uzbek and Russian. The students will select the language preference upon their registration. But the exam will be taken only in English in the Global round.

6) How many questions are in the SEAMO exam?
The format of SEAMO is 1.5 hour written exam which includes 25 questions in multiple choice and written response format. There are 6 levels for different year groups:
Paper A - 1-2 grade
Paper B - 3-4 grade
Paper C - 5-6 grade
Paper D - 7-8 grade
Paper E - 9-10 grade
Paper F - 11 grade
Enhances logical reasoning and mathematical knowledge, problem solving, boosts confidence, improves academic performance. It is beneficial for girls to achieve Zulfiya Award and get scholarship in Singapore and Australia.
Top 40% of the registered students will achieve the Gold 8%, Silver 12% and Bronze 20%.
