In May 1986, Michel managed to gain access to the prison roof by wielding nectarines painted to look like grenades. Nadine then picked him up in a helicopter, and they landed on a football field before driving away.
However, their luck soon ran out. Nadine was found and arrested in southwestern France. Michel later survived being shot in the head during a failed bank robbery.
When she couldn't find shelter, she slept on piles of leaves. On cold nights, she heated large flat stones to use as a warm bed. When she ran out of food, she ate berries and other edible forest plants she recognized.

A man stranded in the northern Saskatchewan bush was rescued last week after he chopped down four power poles, resulting in a power outage for surrounding communities.
The incident left several hundred residents without electricity for more than 30 hours, but it ultimately led to the man's rescue by a SaskPower crew.
SaskPower spokesperson James Parker stated, "He was found under his boat in a very distressed state. Essentially, he had been stranded for a number of days and was desperate for people to know where he was."
The man reported that he had been boating on the lake when he encountered bad weather and became stranded in the bush with no means of communication.
But he had an axe and he knew SaskPower would have to check the downed line, so he went to work.
He would squeeze his thighs together to pass clean urine through a contraption—a bag connected to a plastic tube resembling a p*nis— during a period at the height of his career.

The stories and games taught by adults to children are not considered childlore except insofar as the children adapt and make them their own. In Western culture, most folklorists are concerned with children after they join their peers in elementary school or kindergarten. Childhood traditions generally stop after the child enters intermediate school, which coincides with puberty and adolescence.

At first, he believed the dolphins were just being playful, but he soon recognized the danger the swimmers were in.
“They started to herd us up; they pushed all four of us together by doing tight circles around us,” Mr Howes told the New Zealand Press Association.
He tried to drift away from the group, but two larger dolphins herded him back—just as he spotted a three-meter (10-foot) great white shark approaching him. “I just recoiled,” he recounted. “It was only about two meters away from me, and the water was crystal clear. I could see it as clearly as the nose on my face. They had corralled us to protect us.”
