Trimming down fixed operational costs could be a good thing for the future. In a sense it makes DefiChain more competitive compared to networks that swallow a lot of capital just to keep running.

Same as on ethereum if you want to send a token.
You need gas to power the tx.
You can try to buy on an exchange 1 DFI or use the faucet from mydefichain.

What do you mean with did? Nothing was done yet, the dtoken restart measures are being tested currently in the test network, not yet deployed. As for printing, who are they? Community members use the services it wish, if they print it through FS or not for example, its their choice, just that

I think no need to worry. Truth is, no one will ever be happy, whatever the value may be.
If it seems to high, people will complain they are taking too much, despite much work may be done. If it seems too low, people will complain things are not going well and all will do south.
I prefer to see this as efficiency, when looking I see development keeping up the pace and despite the cut with Bake, things are moving in the way decentralization needs. So if things are continuing to happen, the chain runs, updates and new tech is constantly being deployed, things have not stopped, despite the less apparent funding. Maybe they got more efficient?

Hello I am new to the Defichain wallet, I sent dusd from bake to my defichain thinking that from there I could swap to usdt which seems I cannot. Now I want to send it back to bake or somewhere else where I would be able to convert it to usdt, but the only way to send it to other wallet is acquiring DFI. Why doesn’t this application discount the fees from the original coin?
