It was part of the same DFIP, but the restart does not require the renaming. And since its technically a major problem and would delay the restart massively, it is not included in this implementation.

it will definitely not happen in this implementation. based on the implications of such a rename, I honestly think its unlikely to happen at all. cause after the restart is activated, its likely no longer "necessary" and therefore not worth the effort then either.
Only path I see where it would be happening, is if the restart is not in/activated anytime soon and community decides that renaming must happen and is therefore worth the extra effort and waiting time.
Maybe silly question: Does this mean the renaming (DUSD->USDD) will not happen at all or it will not happen in this implementation of the DFIP.

The future swap can produce an unhealthy amount of extra dTokens which is bad.
The vault system alone created large premiums.
First we need to work hard with the current DFIP in progress, but after that we should also think of some mechanisms to keep the system technically healthy.
