Hi! I believe you may be speaking of LM? You cannot stake on DeFiChain, the only way to have rewards on your staking coin (DFI) it's if you have a masternode.
Other than that, if you want to earn interest on your crytpo holdings, you will need to use DeFiChain services such as LM or vaults.
