It seems BBB wasnt the cause of the declining DFI price but it was very ineffitient specially thanks to NI, might as well let dusd crash to 100s or 1000s for a single DFI (very unlikely) that way the BBB could burn millions of dusd and mainly we should stop NI they are not helping anyone except shortsellers

Yes, can be a reason to. If one of the oracles display a strong change in value compared to the remaining ones (for exaple a big spike in price action, in any direction, while others do not display it, this signals also an oracle fail, and therefore, affected vaults are frozen until the issue is detected - internal or external - and corrected)

Hi! It may take some hours, there is no standard time as the issue that causes the halt can be any. Oracles failing, overload in the blockchain, mainnet down, a combination of these, just as examples.

But usually, some hours. Rest assured, your vaults are safe, as they get frozen under such events to prevent accidental liquidations 👍

Always remeber that vaults do not depend on a single oracle. In fact, DeFiChain is feed by several oracles for each dstocks, in order to have the most correct price everytime, as well as prevent any issue with the vaults operation.

there are multiple reasons why a vault can be halted - volatility is one of those.

if one oracle is not responding or too less oracles of one specific coin are responding, it will be halted for safety measures
