➼ Every year on 10 December, 'International Human Rights Day' is celebrated all over the world. The United Nations declared 10 December as Human Rights Day in 1950, the purpose of which is to make people around the world aware of the importance of human rights and to give the message of being vigilant towards its observance.
हर वर्ष 10 दिसंबर को दुनियाभर में ‘अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार दिवस’ मनाया जाता है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने 1950 में 10 दिसंबर को मानवाधिकार दिवस घोषित किया था, जिसका उद्देश्य विश्वभर के लोगों को मानवाधिकारों के महत्व के प्रति जागरूक करना और इसके पालन के प्रति सजग रहने का संदेश देना है।

➼ The Government of India has appointed Revenue Secretary ' Sanjay Malhotra' as the next Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Sanjay Malhotra is a 1990 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer. He studied engineering from IIT Kanpur and did his masters from Princeton University . Sanjay Malhotra will take charge as the new Governor of RBI on December 11, 2024. His tenure will be for the next 3 years. He will be the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
भारत सरकार ने राजस्व सचिव ‘संजय मल्होत्रा’(Sanjay Malhotra) को रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया RBI) का अगला गवर्नर नियुक्त किया है। संजय मल्होत्रा 1990 बैच के राजस्थान कैडर के IAS अधिकारी हैं। उन्होंने IIT कानपुर से इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई की और प्रिंसटन यूनिवर्सिटी से मास्टर्स किया है। संजय मल्होत्रा 11 दिसंबर, 2024 को RBI के नए गवर्नर के तौर पर कार्यभार संभालेंगे। उनका कार्यकाल अगले 3 साल के लिए होगा। वह भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के 26वें गवर्नर होंगे।

➼ President Draupadi Murmu will address the event organised by the National Human Rights Commission on the occasion of Human Rights Day on December 10 in New Delhi .
राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु 10 दिसंबर को नई दिल्‍ली में मानवाधिकार दिवस के अवसर पर राष्‍ट्रीय मानवाधिकार आयोग की ओर से आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करेंगी।

➼ Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Roger Binny has appointed  ' Devajit Saikia' as the acting secretary of the board. He will replace Jay Shah, who has taken over as the new President of the International Cricket Council from December 1.
भारतीय क्रिकेट नियंत्रण बोर्ड (BCCI) के अध्‍यक्ष रोजर बिन्‍नी ने ‘देवजीत सैकिया’ (Devajit Saikia) को बोर्ड का कार्यवाहक सचिव नियुक्‍त किया है। वे जय शाह का स्‍थान लेंगे जिन्‍होंने एक दिसंबर से अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद के नए अध्‍यक्ष का कार्यभार संभाला है।

➼ The seventh edition of 'Smart India Hackathon' will start from December 11. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate this program through virtual medium. Let us tell you that this program will start in 51 centers across the country.
‘स्मार्ट इंडिया हैकाथॉन’ (Smart India Hackathon) का सातवां संस्करण 11 दिसंबर से शुरू होगा। केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेन्द्र प्रधान वर्चुअल माध्यम से इस कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन करेंगे। बता दें कि यह कार्यक्रम देशभर के 51 केंद्रों में शुरू होगा।

➼ According to Justice B.R. Gavai,Supreme Court judge and acting chairman of National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), more than 7.70 crore cases have been settled  by organizing three National Lok Adalats this year .
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश और राष्ट्रीय विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण (NALSA) के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष न्यायमूर्ति बी. आर. गवई के अनुसार इस वर्ष तीन राष्ट्रीय लोक अदालतों के आयोजन से 7.70 करोड़ से अधिक मामलों का निपटारा हुआ है। 

➼ Union External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar co-chaired the 4th meeting of the  ' India-Bahrain High Joint Commission' in Manama on 09 December.
केंद्रीय विदेश मंत्री डॉ. एस जयशंकर ने 09 दिसंबर को मनामा में ‘भारत-बहरीन उच्च संयुक्त आयोग’ की चौथी बैठक की सह-अध्यक्षता की है। 

➼ 'Indian Post' has released a special set of postcards featuring penguins from Antarctica on December 09.

  ➼  Every year 'Indian Navy Day' is celebrated on 4 December. This day is celebrated to honor the valor, dedication and role of the Indian Navy in protecting the maritime borders of the country. 
हर वर्ष 4 दिसंबर को ‘भारतीय नौसेना दिवस’ मनाया जाता है। यह दिन भारतीय नौसेना की वीरता, समर्पण और देश की समुद्री सीमाओं की रक्षा में उसकी भूमिका को सम्मानित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है।

  ➼  Delhi High Court Chief Justice Manmohan will soon take over as a Supreme Court judge. President Draupadi Murmu has approved his appointment. Justice Manmohan has been a judge of the Delhi High Court since 2008.
दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के चीफ ‘जास्टिस मनमोहन’ अब जल्द ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट के जज का कार्यभार संभालेंगे। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने उनकी नियुक्ति पर मोहर लगा दी है। बता दें कि जस्टिस मनमोहन वर्ष 2008 से दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के जज हैं।

  ➼  South Korea's President 'Yun Suk Yol' has announced the imposition of emergency martial law in the country on 3 December.
दक्षिण कोरिया (South Korea) के राष्ट्रपति ‘यून सुक योल’ ने 03 दिसंबर को देश में आपातकालीन मार्शल लॉ लगाने का ऐलान किया है।

  ➼  Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the country's budget for 2025. In this budget, about 126 billion US dollars have been allocated for national defense. This is 32.5 percent of the total government expenditure.
रूस के राष्‍ट्रपति व्‍लादिमीर पुतिन (Vladimir Putin) ने 2025 के लिए देश के बजट को मंजूरी दी है। इस बजट में राष्‍ट्रीय रक्षा के लिए लगभग 126 बिलियन अमरीकी डॉलर आवंटित किए गए है। यह सरकार के कुल खर्च का 32.5 प्रतिशत है।

  ➼  Kuwait's Foreign Minister ' Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya' arrived in Delhi on 03 December on a two-day official visit to India. He will meet  Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
कुवैत के विदेश मंत्री ‘अब्दुल्ला अली अल-याहया’ 03 दिसंबर को भारत की दो दिन की आधिकारिक यात्रा पर दिल्ली पहुंचे हैं। वे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मुलाकात करेंगे।

  ➼  The National Council of Vocational Education and Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has officially recognised the ' Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre' (IN-SPACe) as a body that aims to strengthen vocational education and training in the space sector. 
कौशल विकास और उद्यमिता मंत्रालय की राष्ट्रीय व्यावसायिक शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण परिषद ने ‘भारतीय राष्ट्रीय अंतरिक्ष संवर्धन और प्राधिकरण केंद्र’ (IN-SPACe) को आधिकारिक रूप से एक निकाय के रूप में मान्यता दी है। इसका उद्देश्य अंतरिक्ष क्षेत्र में व्यवसायिक शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण को सशक्त बनाना है। 

  ➼  According to the records of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), India has overtaken China in terms of two-wheeler sales in the world. Let us tell you that in the year 2023, more than 1 crore 66 lakh two-wheelers were sold in China, while more than 1 crore 70 lakh two-wheelers have been registered in India.
सोसायटी ऑफ इंडियन ऑटोमोबाइल मैन्युफैक्चरर्स (SIAM) के रिकार्ड के अनुसार भारत, विश्व में दोपहिया वाहनों की बिक्री के मामले में चीन से आगे हो गया है। बता दें कि वर्ष 2023 में चीन मे 1 करोड 66 लाख से अधिक दोपहिया वाहन बेचे गए, जबकि भारत में एक करोड़ 70 लाख से अधिंक दोपहिया वाहनों का पंजीकरण किया गया है।

  ➼  Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the  ' Centenary Pillar' at ICAR in Mumbai on December 03.
उपराष्‍ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ और केंद्रीय मंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने 03 दिसंबर को मुंबई में ICAR में ‘शताब्‍दी स्तंभ’ का उद्घाटन किया है।

  ➼  Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi will launch the national campaign - 'Child marriage free India' in New Delhi on November 27. The primary goal of the campaign is to free the country from the evil practice of child marriage. Please note that the 'Child marriage free India' portal will also be launched  during the program .

  ➼  The Union Ministry of Tourism is organizing   the 12th International Tourism Mart at Kaziranga National Parkand Tiger Reserve , a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, on November 27. The aim is to highlight the infinite tourism potential of the North Eastern region to domestic and international tourists.

  ➼  Recently India has signed the definitive act of   ' Riyadh Design Law Treaty' for intellectual property protection.

  ➼  India and the International Solar Alliancehave signed agreements for new solar projects in Fiji, Comoros, Madagascar and Seychelles. The Project Implementation Agreement was signed between the Ministry of External Affairs and the International Solar Alliance on November 26 in New Delhi.

  ➼  The Supreme Court has rejected a PIL seeking replacement of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with ballot papers.

  ➼  The Central government has approved over Rs 1,115 crore for  ' Disaster Mitigation and Capacity Building Projects' for 15 states.
केंद्र सरकार ने 15 राज्यों के लिए ‘आपदा शमन और क्षमता निर्माण परियोजनाओं’ के लिए 1,115 करोड़ से अधिक रुपये की मंजूरी दी है।

➼ On November 24, 2024, the death anniversary of the ninth Guru of Sikhism, ' Guru Teg Bahadur Singh ' is being celebrated. The life of Guru Teg Bahadur Singh was dedicated to the preservation of the cultural heritage of humanity.

➼ The Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), signed in March this year between  India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries, will attract investments worth $100 billion.

➼ Every year on 07 December, 'Armed Forces Flag Day' is celebrated in India. ➼ President Draupadi Murmu will lay the foundation stone of three railway lines in Odisha on December 07. These include Bangariposi to Gaumahisani, Barampahar to Kendujhargarh and Budamora to Chakulia railway lines.

➼ According to the World Gold Council, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has become the largest gold buying bank compared to central banks around the world. Let us tell you that in October 2024, central banks around the world bought 60 tonnes of gold, in which the Reserve Bank of India was at the forefront by buying 27 tonnes of gold. With this, the country's gold reserves have increased to 882 tonnes, out of which 510 tonnes of gold is present in the country itself.
वर्ल्ड गोल्ड काउंसिल के अनुसार ‘रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया’ (RBI) दुनियाभर के केंद्रीय बैंकों की तुलना में सबसे ज्यादा सोना खरीदने वाला बैंक बना है। बता दें कि अक्टूबर, 2024 में दुनियाभर के केंद्रीय बैंकों ने 60 टन सोना खरीदा, जिसमें रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया 27 टन सोना खरीदने के साथ सबसे आगे रहा। इसके साथ ही देश का स्वर्ण भंडार बढ़कर 882 टन पहुंच गया है, जिसमें से 510 टन सोना देश में ही मौजूद है।

➼ Union Health Minister JP Nadda will launch a ' 100- Day Intensive Campaign' in Panchkula, Haryana on December 7 to tackle the challenges of TB cases and mortality in the country . The initiative will be implemented in 347 districts of 29 states and union territories to detect TB cases, accelerate diagnosis and improve treatment outcomes.
केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जेपी नड्डा देश में टीबी मामलों और मृत्यु दर की चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए 7 दिसंबर को हरियाणा के पंचकूला में ‘100 दिवसीय गहन अभियान’ (100-Day Campaign) का शुभारंभ करेंगे। टीबी मामलों का पता लगाने, निदान में तेजी लाने और उपचार के परिणामों में सुधार लाने के लिए यह पहल 29 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के 347 जिलों में लागू की जाएगी।

➼ According to provisional data from the Health Management Information System of the 'Ministry of Health and Family Welfare', the sex ratio (SRB) in the country is expected to increase from 918 in 2014-15 to 930 in 2023-24.

➼ India will chair the 68th session of the ' United Nations Commission on Drug Control' . In Vienna, the capital of Austria, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Shambu Kumaran, took over as the Chairman of the Commission on 06 December. Let us tell you that this is the first time that India has been nominated to chair this important institution of the United Nations.

केंद्र सरकार के अनुसार ‘सार्वभौमिक टीकाकरण कार्यक्रम’-UIP के तहत लगभग 7 करोड़ 43 लाख लाभार्थियों को पंजीकृत किया गया है। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत गर्भवती महिलाओं और 16 वर्ष तक के बच्चों को 12 जीवन-घातक बीमारियों की रोकथाम के टीके दिए जाते हैं।

➼ The Central Government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a loan agreement of 98 million dollars for horticulture farmers. This agreement will enable farmers to obtain disease-free certified planting material and will help in increasing the productivity and quality of fruits and dealing with the effects of climate change.
केंद्र सरकार और ‘एशियाई विकास बैंक’ (ADB) ने बागवानी से जुड़े किसानों के लिए 9 करोड़ 80 लाख डॉलर के ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस समझौते से किसानों को रोग मुक्‍त प्रमाणित रोपण सामग्री प्राप्‍त हो सकेगी और फलों की उत्‍पादकता, गुणवत्‍ता बढ़ाने तथा जलवायु परिवर्तन के असर से निपटने में सहायता मिलेगी।

➼ The Central Government has set a target of opening 25 thousand Jan Aushadhi Centers across the country by March 2027 under the ' Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Project' -PMBJP.

➼ Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India . On this day in the year 1949, the Constitution of our country was finalized. It took two years, 11 months and 18 days to make our Constitution. After which the Constitution of the Republic of India was ready on 26 January 1949, but it was officially implemented on 26 January 1950. 
भारत में हर वर्ष 26 नवंबर को संविधान दिवस मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1949 में इसी दिन हमारे देश के संविधान को अंतिम रूप दिया गया था। हमारे संविधान को बनाने में दो वर्ष, 11 माह और 18 दिन का समय लगा था। जिसके बाद भारत गणराज्य का संविधान 26 जनवरी 1949 को बनकर तैयार हो गया, लेकिन इसे आधिकारिक तौर पर 26 जनवरी 1950 को लागू किया गया था।
