ZachXBT revealed a $243 million social engineering attack in which three suspects successfully stole the crypto assets of a Genesis creditor through an elaborate multi-step scam. The incident occurred on August 19, 2024. The suspects impersonated Google support staff to gain access to the victim's personal account.
