I think what's happening is CPI data is somehow leaked, and it's running hot. An entity with size is buying puts sending the VIX up. I think we'll likely see a CPI dump, then FOMC pump with Papa J speaking dovish. Their goal is to keep things balanced.

Depends if u have an edge trading news event or catching a move. Imo cpi should be the one that moves more because its number also somewhat determines fomc

Most people id suggest let the move play out first and u can look for your setups, so probably on thursday/friday

Easy way to check, look up the dates of the past 1-2 years worth of CPI reports, and look how the market acted running into them, and after the report.
