What was the total amount of multiple loads before 1,000- transaction? Less than a thousand, I guess.. Check the Interac limit on your account. Could be either the daily/weekly limit thing, or the bank not liking a relatively large deposit to the crypto exchange. Some exchanges have their own limit for you, based on your profile evaluation, but they always advise to check the limits from the bank side.

Infact, the hotels I have been to in Canada and US so far. All say, you can only use credit card and not a Pre-Paid card. They also hold a deposit as well.

At the very least, Glad it works as a backup at hotels.😁

Non-reloadable ones do not have the capability to do those pre-auth. Hence doesn't work on these charges.
The ones u see at grocery stores. Vanilla prepaid and stuff
