Today seems like a boring day - time to zoom out a little and take a look at what might be next.
Altcoin of special interest: PEPE
PEPE/USD
PEPE established some clean resistance at 2000, but its uptrend is still valid, at least for now.
At the moment I'd be interested in a momentum long order above the 2000 level as this area is narrow enough to find a SL I'd be comfortable with. Apart from that, I don't see anything interesting at the moment - at least not a potential trade with a good enough R/R.

Debating between adding $200K from journal to spot for Solana. Sandwiched between the $19 lows and $25 highs. $21 isn't too bad of a spot buy and hold imo.
I really like the idea of this on a longer-term time frame given that all metrics and what not are very much alive. I would take this on spot because it's a weekly setup, I don't want to pay funding over such a long period of time.
I'm also of the belief that NFTs will inevitably have their run again in the future (they're just illustrative ALTs imo). With that, I do think a Solana move up to even $100 is possible.
$200K cause uhhh $20 to $100 is 5x and $1M has a nice ring to it.
Will pull the trigger sometime today I think, I don't want to miss too much of the move up.

Next week play: Next week Monday may be a little bit side ways upside and based on economic events and grinding downside movements, price can spike higher first before going down.that is to test again 29k/30500/31k region. that would be a short play and get rid of alts if there is any holding and shift to cash. after next week upside price movement either till Wednesday or Friday/Saturday, need to book profit and then shift back to cash. For the futures trade we shall play a short but that will notify in channel. so keep tracking price, its very choppy , grinding move and can convert to spike in next week up and then down.

Not the best news but after further re-evaluation I still think we see a breakdown in BTC. Hard for me to see BTC holding this blue "support"
Not sure yet how deep it goes so prepared for two main areas HTF as 25K obvious one and then stop run below 23400-22600. I will be ready to act quick though on any LTF trend change / insane negative funding and so on as Weekly structure is bullish ofc
I also sold some part of SPOT, ready to rebuy lower if it goes higher I still have good bag to profit and if it goes lower I buy more

I'm eyeing something similar for ETH but also not yet sure how deep. The PA is not really clean and there are no good levels on the left side of the chart which further confirms chop and bottom accumulation

A solid breakout of the symmetrical triangle would confirm a bullish trend in the market. In case of a sustained breakdown of the symmetrical triangle, a bearish move is expected toward the lower marked horizontal support.

The infamous "head and shoulders".
Careful falling for this one at the neckline.
The way you'd properly play this is actually the 2nd shoulder (HL) or the underside retest imo. Everything else is a bait.
If you're shorting RIGHT NOW, at $27.5K or whatever the low was, you're essentially shorting support (neckline). It can work out but generally speaking, it's not a play that I'd recommend.
The general idea for H&S is to play a short, and I don't disagree with that. Most people just don't execute the entry zone properly so they end up being cannon fodder for neckline shenanigans.
In this case, I short at $27.8-28K is much better just cause you'd be able to define your stop (reclaim of $28K).

After yesterday's 5% drop, Bitcoin recovered and is now trading above the 28,800 dollar level again, which appears to be providing some support once again.
In my opinion, it's good to see that BTC managed to reclaim the 28,800 dollar level - but in order to make a sustainable move up, BTC needs to do more than simply trade back and forth barely above 28,800 dollars.

However: I think MATIC could offer a very nice short opportunity once it rises a little bit. If we see a rise up to the 0.95-1.00 dollar range, I'll consider entering a short position.
Of course, this also highly depends on market sentiment at that point. If MATIC hits this level with one swift pump, shorting might not be the best idea. But if we get a slow rise to this area, I think a short could be worth the risk.
I'll re-assess this once MATIC is trading a bit closer to my potential entries.

In the end idea with swing failure was correct, but lower timeframes and wrong chart tricked me about it. I did re-enter that trade at the last post price and close it at the target zone where flipped into long.
Binance chart I use for this analysis is different from Binance Futures or Coinbase where price didn't dip that low this morning. This gives me an idea that it should dip there to compensate the difference. So target zone is 27080-27120
Target zone for short term trade 27450-27480
Invalidation for that trade on close below 26960
If price drop lower next level will be at 26560-26500

DOGE touched lower buy zone two more times and bounced. Now everyone should have filled their orders and can move stop under 0.0708
