I agree that gCOTI should not receive benefits that come directly at the expense of regular COTI holders or require significant development resources. My point was rather to give long-term gCOTI holders a meaningful role within the Treasury framework, especially since they supported and committed to that system under the original design. If the Treasury is paused, I think the fair solution is to preserve gCOTI’s original governance purpose or find a low-cost way to recognize existing holders without creating additional dilution or advantages over COTI holders.

My question tho is, why would gCoti holders get all those benefits (grants, fee reductions etc etc), all those which directly come out of the cost of regular COTI holders and on top of that, those require development resources (governance, fee benefits implementation), again coming out of the pocket of an avegage coti holder?

Especially given how uncertain the utility is and the current price, that wouldn't be called governace but an unfair advantage and a gamble.

Governance should be based on protocol participation, not on some gimmick, low liquidity speculative token that degens gamble on in hopes of future utility and price appreciation.

Gcoti should remain a treasury governance token since that was it's initial utility, anything more at this point creates an unfair advantage and will only further dilute the value of COTI.
