(or the team should be upfront about being broke and all of this is only done to use the 58% community tokens to fund further development. which ofc would change the whole picture because the sell pressure would be the same, if not higher...)

what can I tell you. listen to the call. the emissions stay the same, the tokens are not burned, it is kinda unclear where they are sent and what happens to them until the team provides wallet addresses.

Yes you need to add cotichain to custom tab on metamask

Why would you pause the treasury for native holders on treasury and instead offer a 20% staking on centralized CEXs for not native?
And why making gCoti feel useless?
Is there no statement for gCoti token and it's holders who trusted team?
Am I fine if I have this
"Congratulations, your deposits are now upgraded to COTI V2 (0x7fb48....62014).
Please use treasury.coti.io to view and manage them."
I have never went to treasury to manage it, i am in the middle of renos and dont have my hardware wallet
but I added the metamask wallet along time ago
Which one youre talking about? V1,V2 or the Eth version

Do i lose my coti tokens if I don't migrate?

I personally think they should be burned if the tokenomics can't be upgraded, because otherwise none of this makes any sense.

If that’s true, then honestly it makes very little sense to me.
If the original justification for those emissions was to incentivize the community, and that model is now being reduced or replaced by an enterprise-focused strategy, why should emissions remain exactly the same?
Unless $COTI currently needs those tokens to fund operations and keep the project running, I don’t see the economic logic behind maintaining the same level of issuance.
If the business model changes, the tokenomics should evolve with it. Less unnecessary inflation and more revenue-driven sustainability should be the goal.
good argument if it was true but the only thing you guys can actually deliver on is excuses

Good morning, everyone.
From what I understand, COTI is no longer moving primarily as a community-driven Web3 project. The direction now seems much more focused on enterprise and institutional adoption.
Personally, I believe this is the right move. You have to go where the real demand, revenue and $$$ are. Enterprise adoption, Privacy-on-Demand and real-world usage can potentially create something much more sustainable than continuously relying on incentives.
But with this transition, I believe the community deserves enterprise-level clarity regarding token emissions.
Until now, one of the main justifications for token emissions was to incentivize the community, reward participation and grow the ecosystem.
Now the strategy is changing.
COTI Earn is being paused, community incentive programs are being reduced, and the focus is increasingly shifting toward enterprise adoption and generating real revenue.
So the obvious question is:
What happens to the token emissions that were previously justified by community incentives?
Will those emissions be:
* Reduced?
* Eliminated?
* Redirected?
* Allocated somewhere else?
* Used for a completely different purpose?
This is not about asking for more rewards. In fact, I personally prefer less inflation and more real revenue.
The point is simple:
If the economic reason that justified part of the token emissions has changed, then logically the emission model should also be revisited.
If COTI is evolving from a community-incentive model toward an enterprise-driven business model, I believe the tokenomics should evolve with it.
More enterprise revenue + less unnecessary token issuance would, in my opinion, be a much healthier long-term model for $COTI.
I believe this is one of the main questions the community deserves a clear answer to.
this isn't even a product change? the treasury (or any community rewards for that matter) never were the actual product?
