Metamask is network agnostic....meaning you still have to choose a network. Your metamask address could be on Ethereum, or cotiv2, or Ethereum classic etc

You can't just send erc20 coti to Coti V2 network, you'll need to bridge it first to your metamask address. Once you have it in metamask there will be likely a deposit button on the new treasury to do the deposit. Just guessing though. Hope that makes sense
