I also invested a significant amount of time and created well-structured documents that, in many ways, I tested thoroughly. I had hoped to be considered for some recognition, as I believed that even if my performance wasn’t outstanding, these documents could still provide value to the core team by helping them avoid testing certain approaches. However, I now feel that my efforts was wasting time too.

That said, the sponsors (who allocate prizes) likely have a better understanding of the situation and more strategic criteria for making such decisions. So, let’s refrain from repeatedly bringing this up. If they decide to act, they will do so in due course.
