Apple just unveiled a refresh to the 24-inch iMac that skips the M2 altogether, in favor of the M3 chip announced alongside the iMac at this evening’s Scary Fast event.
The M3 chip features an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 16-core neural engine and supports up to 24GB of memory. Apple says the system is capable of up to 2x the M1’s performance (not the M2, mind).
The difference between Bitcoin Spot ETFs and Bitcoin Futures ETFs
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are financial instruments that allow investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin price movements without having to directly own or manage Bitcoin.
Bitcoin spot funds hold Bitcoin directly as their underlying assets, meaning the performance of the Bitcoin spot fund is directly linked to the real-time value of Bitcoin. Once investors purchase Bitcoin Spot Fund shares, they are purchasing as a representation of actual Bitcoin, even though they do not personally own the currency. There are advantages to investing in Bitcoin spot ETFs, such as gaining exposure to Bitcoin price movements without having to manage or store the currency, providing a simpler way for traditional investors to trade on an exchange, and providing a regulatory framework that enhances trust for a wider audience.
Bitcoin futures trading funds do not hold Bitcoin directly, but rather invest in Bitcoin futures contracts, which are agreements to buy or sell Bitcoin at a specific price on a specific future date. This allows investors to speculate on future Bitcoin price movements without owning the currency itself. When you buy shares of a Bitcoin Futures Fund, you are implicitly betting on the future price of Bitcoin without having to own the currency or Bitcoin futures contracts directly.

🇮🇱🟠 Binance assisted Israel in freezing Hamas cryptocurrency accounts.
Israeli police have frozen cryptocurrency accounts linked to Palestinian militant group Hamas. The cyber arm of Israel Police's Lahav 433 unit worked with the country’s defense ministry, intelligence agencies and crypto exchange Binance to target the accounts in question. It added that any funds seized are destined for the Israeli national treasury.

Microsoft has permanently stopped the possibility of upgrading from Windows 7 & 8.1 to Windows 10/11.⛔️
With the launch of Windows 10 in 2015, the company gave users a full year to upgrade to the new version for free. However, throughout the past years, the possibility was available to Windows 7 & 8.1 users even to upgrade to the latest version (Windows 11).
This week, Microsoft officially removed the ability to permanently upgrade to Windows 7 & Windows 8.
As for the activation keys for Windows 7 & 8.1, it is also no longer possible to use them to activate Windows 11 starting with version 23H2.
Windows 10 users are still able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free.
