The past 48 hours have been grim for the crypto industry. On Monday, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued crypto exchange Binance and its founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao for allegedly violating federal securities laws. The next day, the SEC filed a lawsuit against Coinbase over similar allegations. Later in the afternoon, the SEC sought to freeze assets related to Binance.US, the exchange’s US-based entity. The crackdown isn’t surprising to some; however, it’s added to the frustration around the lack of policy and regulatory clarity in the United States surrounding crypto. While the lawsuits are so far only against Binance and Coinbase, the entire industry has been shaken up by the news, and the value of tokens named in the filings has plummeted. Some critics hyperbolized that the situation could mark the downfall of crypto. Since Monday morning, figures across the crypto space have minted Coinbase’s Stand with Crypto non-fungible token (NFT) on minting platform Zora to mark their commitment to crypto while demanding regulatory clarity.

Atomic Wallet Users Hacked for $35M Worth of Bitcoin, Ether, Tether and Other Tokens
The crypto industry’s latest causality occurred over the weekend as nearly $35 million worth of various tokens were stolen from Atomic Wallet, a centralized storage and wallet service.

New usernames aren't the only change coming to Discord. The company is also testing a suite of parental controls that would allow for increased oversight of Discord's youngest users.
In a live test running in Discord's iOS app in the U.S., the company introduced a new "Family Center" feature, where parents will be able to configure tools that allow them to see the names and avatars of their teen's recently added friends, the servers the teen has joined or participated in and the names and avatars of users they've directly messaged or engaged within group chats.
This approach, which toes a fine line between the need for parental oversight and a minor's right to privacy, is similar to how Snapchat implemented parental controls in its app last year.

Circle (USDC) announces the launch of its $USDC stablecoin on Arbitrum network.
Circle to launch an official version of $USDC that is recognized within the Arbitrum ecosystem. The stablecoin will go live on June 8th, and will ultimately replace the currently circulating bridged version of USDC that comes from Ethereum. Moreover, Circle expects to bring a Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol to Arbitrum after the launch of native USDC.
