🚨 FIFA have announced that referees will wear body cameras during the new Club World Cup. 🏆 🌏 🎥

This will provide a new perspective for spectators and a better understanding of refereeing decisions. 🆕

A new rule will also be tested to punish goalkeepers who keep the ball in their hands for more than 8 seconds: a corner will be awarded to the opposition.

These measures aim to improve transparency and combat time wasting.

Enzo Maresca on the performance against Brentford:

"I think overall we played a good game. We played Thursday night, it was a tricky game, sunny day. They tried to kill the tempo of the game. We did enough to win, we shot over 20 times. The only thing we missed was the goal but I'm happy with the performance."

"The reason why is we played Thursday night and not all of them were 100%. The idea was to start in one way and finish another way. The plan almost worked. I'm here to try and do the best for the club and the players. I work every day with the players so I see how they are."

On away form:

"I think we started the season winning many games away and we struggled at home. Now it is the other way. To get top four or top five, fight for the title, you need the right balance. Overall in terms of numbers, we are there since the start. To be honest, I didn't prepare the game today thinking it's been a long time since we win away and we need to win."

On being annoyed with the scheduling:

"I think so, yes, especially at this stage of the season. Thursday night was a demanding game. When it is a transition game, it is physically demanding. Tottenham was more transitions compared to today, for instance."

On the form of Chelsea's attackers:

"It will be very important to get some more goals from the ones up front. We are three or four [highest] scoring goals in the Premier League. I do not have the feeling this team needs to score more goals. For sure, we want more goals from the players up front, but I don't think it's a problem. We are top three, top four in terms of scoring goals."

On Christopher Nkunku's performance:

"It's just a game, not a lack of effort. I see Christo every day and it is working well. Sometimes he wants to do more during a game and struggles a little bit. But I don't think it's a lack of effort."

On why Christopher Nkunku was subbed:

"We plan the game this way to start in one way and finish in a different way. We thought after 45 minutes, one hour, we were getting better and they were getting tired. We expected to improve in the second-half."

On the importance of qualifying for the Champions League:

"For sure, it will be very important. Since day one, I said that our duty and target is to bring this club where it needs to be - the Champions League."

On missed chances:

"I think we shot more than 20 times, I think the only thing we missed has been the goal but overall, it’s been a good performance."

On balancing the Premier League and Conference League:

"It’s difficult, but at the same time it’s nice because it means we’re near the end."

On whether still being in the Conference League is a good thing:

"To be honest, when you are Chelsea manager you have to win all the games, not only in the Conference [League]. It is the same pressure."
