I could run nodes on 2 Macs and 2 Linux computers. Just make it easy to install. Last time I checked it was too complicated to make this work. One install file to download and run like all the other apps.

Not to be nitty gritty but from what I remember they wanted to be clear about calling it a "transfer" and not a "swap" to be in line with the law.

That's an excuse; it's been known for years. The lawsuit against XRP started in 2020. There were rumors even before then that this would happen. I can't understand why a project wouldn't check with the SEC to see if its own project, token, or coin complied with the rules.

Yes they are waiting for regulatory approval to allow a swap to take place is what i take from the blog. They have to be carefull so that the token gets classified as a product for redemption of a servicr and not a speculative assett. I assume caution is warranted as there have been a couple of legal cases where the SEC has tried to bring down certain projects for that exact definition.

Great news! One question. Unyt and Holochain are being hardened with the wind tunnel currently, isn't it still perhaps too early for the EVM bridging? Is the network ready to incorporate or support other projects via the EVM bridge?

I'm afraid you are showcasing a lack of understanding of how law works, which is umderstandable. Law is both static and dynamic. In certrain countries its mostly static. In some it also dynamic. This means things can change. For example new statutory regulations can get passes. New precedent can be set,... in a field like crypto which does not have allot ot legislature or even precedent thinks can change quickly

I get it. We want to be very direct rather than ask you to read between the lines. But there are real blockers to being more direct, atm. Did you read the latest Holo blog? I waited to respond until that was released. That speaks largely to what the challenges are with regards to HF. And, if you read the Unyt blogs (especially the latest re EVM briding) you can hopefully understand more of where we're going w/ HF. Still committed to sharing very directly. But several things have to be lined up to open that gate.

Makes sense. And I think it really just depends on the specifics of the use case. The wind tunnel testing and hardening is really about pushing the limits so we can better know the performance envelope. We have people and use cases that could already use Holochain for their purposes. How many people who own a ferrari are pushing the thing to it's limits on a constant basis, right?
