Few options here on gold that I see, since we’ve had a massive drop to the downside and now corrective price action up, I would look for counter-trend buys in this scenario since the market structure is clean (but it’s more risky)
If 2305 holds as a support and we don’t break under 2300 then I would say buys are valid and that they can take us up to 2315 and above
If it doesn’t hold and price continues the bearish momentum and drops and closes under 2305 I would expect it to retest that level as a resistance and drop into 2297
The current structure isn’t the cleanest for a trade setup and I am not trading today unless something A++ comes up but for now, these are the thoughts I have and at 2297 we may end up making a double bottom there - so carefully treat each level as somewhere we’re the market can change direction from
Where is price now? Where has it come from? Where is it likely to go? Where can I look to take a trade from?
