Obedience to God is Beneficial
"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
"Because you have kept my command to endure, I will also keep you safe from the time of trouble which is coming upon the world to test all the people on earth." Revelation 3:10 GNT
If you read this scripture carefully, you'll notice that the language God uses is like that of an agreement between two parties, where each side has its responsibilities. That’s why He says, "I also will keep you safe".
In our relationship with God, both sides have duties to fulfill. On our side, our main duty is to obey and follow everything God says. Therefore, as a child of God, if you have been faithful in obeying and following what God has commanded, there are good things He will do for you, regardless of the situation you're going through right now.
When you keep God's commands, be assured that God is with you, and whenever something happens, He is your defender. Jeremiah 15:20 says: "And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you," says the LORD.
Another benefit of keeping God's Word is "Exclusivity"—God makes you different and gives you "VIP treatment." Wherever you are, you are protected by God in a way that is different from others. If you see others get into trouble, do not be afraid; know that you are different. If others are striving for something and not getting it, God will give it to you because you are different. Psalm 91:7-8 says: "A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked."
Today, have confidence and peace in your heart that God knows you and is faithful; He will not abandon you. He will protect you and save you from all harm because you are His child and you keep His Word. And if you ever feel that you need His help but are not receiving it, ask yourself, "Am I keeping His Word?" Then, pray and ask Him to help you be obedient so that He can assist you whenever you need His help.
Prayer: I pray to You, O LORD, to give me obedience—to obey You and keep Your Word—so that no harm may come upon me.

Humility Before God Brings Healing and His Mercy
"When he humbled himself, the wrath of the LORD turned from him, so as not to destroy him completely; and things went well in Judah." 2 Chronicles 12:12 NKJV
There is a certain level of success that when some people achieve in their lives, they forget and abandon God. This happened to Rehoboam. The Word of God says, "Now it came to pass when Rehoboam had established the kingdom and had strengthened himself, that he forsook the law of the LORD, and all Israel along with him." 2 Chronicles 12:1 NKJV
After Rehoboam abandoned God and did evil, God sent Prophet Shemaiah and he told them, "Thus says the LORD: 'You have forsaken Me, and therefore I also have left you in the hand of Shishak.'" 2 Chronicles 12:5 NKJV Shishak was the king of Egypt who invaded Israel and began to oppress and enslave them.
Similarly, in your personal life and in our families, the suffering we experience, and the spirits that torment and enslave people—such as the spirits of disease, alcoholism, hatred, conflict, and poverty—are because, when we succeeded, we abandoned God. Maybe you were born into this suffering because those who came before you abandoned God.
What you need to do is acknowledge the mistakes and sins that were committed, just as Rehoboam and the elders of Israel did. 2 Chronicles 12:6-7 NKJV says, "So the leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, 'The LORD is righteous.' Now when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, 'They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance. My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.'"
So today, God is speaking to you: humble yourself before Him for your sake, for the sake of your family, or for your nation, so that God may turn His anger and the punishment He has released away from you. If you humble yourself and stop relying on your success and money, God will set you free and liberate you. Bad things will no longer happen to you.
Prayer: Oh Lord, have mercy on me, my family, and my nation. I pray for mercy for all the sins and wrongdoings that have been committed. Turn your anger and punishment away from us. Amen.
God's will is greater than your fears and mistakes
"For the sake of your name, lead and guide me. Psalms 31:3 NIV"
Do you ever fear that finding God's will for your life is like walking a spiritual high wire, one misstep and disaster awaits? That's, if you don't hear Him right, you'll suffer irreversible consequences?
Anxiety about discerning the Lord's path for your life can be paralyzing, but this isn't His intention. Certainly there is no evidence for it in Scripture we never see Moses, David, or Paul panicking because they were unsure of His will, Rather than focusing on the need for direction, they fixed their gaze on their God and trusted His guidance.
You are wise to do the same. This is because even after meditating on Scripture, seeking counsel, and gathering facts, you will still be incapable of forecasting the future. But God knows what is ahead. And when you focus on Him, you will know He leads you well.
So today, view God's will in the context of your relationship with Christ. Seek to know Jesus in daily obedience and dependence, trusting Him as your Source and Sustenance. And as you draw near to your constant Guide and Companion, you will find direction and wisdom sufficient for every need.
Prayer: Jesus, I will fix my gaze on You, knowing You always lead me perfectly in every decision. Amen.
THOSE WHO HATE YOU WILL NOT HARM YOU BECAUSE GOD PROTECTS YOU
"He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy." Psalm 106:10
There are times when what you need is deliverance from a certain person because, in your life, someone may be the biggest obstacle preventing you from reaching the place where God wants you to be.
Likewise, a person can be the reason for your downfall. Some people’s lives have been ruined simply because of their friendship with a certain individual. Some have lost their marriages, while others have lost jobs because of someone. This person influences and misleads you, causing you to do things that ultimately lead to destruction in your life.
The third type of person you need God to save you from is someone who hates you and has both the intention and the power to do harmful things to destroy you. The Bible repeatedly mentions how God saved the Israelites from the hands of wicked people. In today’s verse, it speaks of how God saved the nation of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh.
When the Word of God says, "He saved them from the hand of the one who hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy," it means God dealt with that person directly. They were not saved from the hands of Satan, demons, evil spirits, or idols. God saved them from the hand of a person. So, you must assess your problem and know whether a person is causing it or not. If it is a person, you need to change your prayers and ask God to deliver you from the hands of that wicked individual.
Our God is faithful. When you pray, the hatred and harm that person is plotting against you will not succeed. God will save you and protect you from all evil, and He will deal with that person just as He dealt with Pharaoh.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the mighty King. I ask You to save me from the schemes and traps of my enemies. Amen.

YOU ARE THE LIGHT
"You are the light of the world." Matthew 5:14
An important thing to note in this verse is the word "world." You are the light of the world. It doesn’t say you are the light of the church or the light of Christians, no! You are the light of the world.
When I was studying, I had a friend who was a born-again Christian. People didn’t like him, and he didn’t like them either. He would openly say it was because he hated sin, so he didn’t like sinners, and they didn’t like him. He believed he was the light, and his role as the light was to expose people’s mistakes and sins so they could repent. His main focus was to criticize his fellow students for the way they dressed, for singing worldly songs, their religions or denominations. He would tell them all, "You will die and burn in hellfire." He believed his denomination was the only correct one, that he was holy, and everyone else was a sinner unless they belonged to his church. He even told me, "Lucas, you need to repent and leave your denomination and join ours because this is where the truth is." He believed people didn’t like him because he was the light and they lived in darkness. But the truth is, he was wrong. Even today, we have many people like this in our Christian community who do not understand the true meaning of being the light of the world.
Being the light is not about criticizing and judging people. The true light is the love of Christ, telling people that God loves them and that Jesus came for them. The true light is caring for people and showing them kindness, even if they are not saved. It is not about discriminating against or judging them.
Our real enemy is Satan. All those around you are captives and prisoners of Satan. He has bound and misled their minds to make them enjoy the life they are living, while others are filled with spirits of hatred, envy, and greed. Judging and condemning them won't help them. They need your help. They need you to give them hope that they can change and live a life of joy and peace in Christ. They need you to pray for them so they can be freed from these chains.
Prayer: Oh Jesus, I pray that you enable me to be a light to everyone, especially those who are lost, so that they may know your love through me. Amen

GOD KNOWS YOUR NEEDS
"Before they call, I will answer; while they are still speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24
God's original plan for humankind is for them to live a life of abundance, having all their needs met and even more. God does not want you to lack anything you need.
The life of poverty and lack that many live today is a result of the curse, which came from disobedience to God. "To Adam, He said, ‘Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, "You must not eat from it," cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow, you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.'" Genesis 3:17-19
Now, God sent Christ to break this curse. When we return to God with all our hearts and follow His commands, making Him our priority in life, He will meet all our needs. His Word says:
"So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33
God will provide for your needs once you have sought His kingdom and His righteousness. It’s not that you won’t work—no! But God comes first, and then your work follows. If you do this, you will see God’s blessings upon you, and this promise will come true for you: "Before you call, God will answer; while you are still speaking, He will hear."
Prayer: O Lord, help me to put You first in my life, to love and depend on You always, so You may bless me and provide all my needs. Amen.

"TRUST GOD AND WAIT, HE WILL ANSWER YOU"
"The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins. 2 Peter 3:9"
One day, I told a friend of mine who wanted to marry, "If you want to marry, you need to ask God to give you a good wife." He replied immediately, "I don't want to ask God because He will tell me to marry those unattractive women in the church who are always praying and very religious." He also added, "Why should I ask God and wait when I can choose the wife I want and find attractive myself?" This young man wasn’t saved, but he attended church as a tradition and a Christian routine. But I told him, "God won’t force you to marry someone you don't love. He will give you someone you love and who is right for you."
Many Christians pray but what they believe is different from what God says; they've given up and no longer trust Him. That’s why, when Peter wrote this letter to Christians, he reminded them, "The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think."
Many Christians have the mentality of this young man. They think God will delay in answering or won’t answer them in the way they want. So, they decide to handle things in their own way.
Child of God, don’t act like that. Be patient. If God delays something, He has a very good reason. That’s why the Word says, "he is patient with you because he does not want anyone to be destroyed," God will answer you at the right time and give you something that will not ruin your life.
Perhaps what you desire, you don’t fully understand or know how it will be in the future. Trust God because He knows everything. If things are delayed, it doesn't mean you have failed—be patient like Abraham. Although he had a child in his old age, his descendants are still powerful and rule the world today.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for strong faith. In difficult situations, help me to believe that You will act on my behalf. Amen.

MAKE WISE DECISIONS
"It is honourable for a man to stop striving Since any fool can start a quarrel. Proverbs 20:3 NKJV"
Today I will briefly talk to you about wise decisions. The Word of God says, "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Romans 8:14" If you believe in God and have the Holy Spirit within you, do not make decisions based on your emotions or allow someone to push you into making hasty unwise decisions.
There is worldly wisdom and sayings that state, "Do whatever you feel like or follow your heart." This kind of wisdom and its sayings are contrary to what the Word of God says. First, the Word of God says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9" Therefore, do not make decisions by following your heart, but listen to the Holy Spirit. Using the Word of God, He will guide you to make the right decisions.
In the AMP English version, it says, "It is an honour for a man to keep away from strife [by handling situations with thoughtful foresight], But any fool will [start a] quarrel [without regard for the consequences]. Proverbs 20:3 AMP"
My message to you is, do not do something that will harm you later. In everything that you do, you must first think of the consequences. Make wise decisions.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, I ask You to guide me to make wise decisions. Amen.

On this Sunday, let us draw near to God with a heart of worship, lifting our hands towards His heavenly throne as a sign of humility and reverence to Him.
May you have a blessed Sunday. Amen.
AVOID BAD FRIENDS, DON'T BE A HOT-TEMPERED PERSON
"Don't make friends with people who have hot, violent tempers. You might learn their habits and not be able to change. Proverbs 22:24-25 GNT"
The Word of God warns us not to associate with people of bad character, those with behaviors that do not please God. This kind of friendship can bring you great harm, especially if you are living a righteous life.
The Bible clearly explains why we should not be close to someone with a temper. The reason is found in the next verse, which says: " or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared." Proverbs 22:25
This message isn't just for angry people, but for all those with bad habits. When you make friends with someone who has bad behaviors, you will start to change and become like one of them. The Word of God says:
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14
So today, make the decision to cut off any friendships or associations with a person or friends that do not have good character. Also, if you have any bad habits, especially a temper, ask God to help you change and leave those behaviors behind. The Bible says:
"Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land. A little while and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity." Psalms 37:8-11
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the one who can change me. I ask You to forgive me and cleanse my heart, make me a peaceful person. Amen.

GOD WILL NOT LET YOU BE PUT TO SHAME
"They will not be put to shame in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied. Psalm 37:19"
God loves us very much because we are His children, and He cares for us deeply. This word is a word of comfort for you and for all of us, assuring us of God's protection even when we go through difficult times.
Therefore, there are many evils that the enemy has planned against you, but the word of God has assured us that you will not be put to shame. God is with you, fighting for you and giving you victory. And even in times of famine, you will be satisfied because God is the one who provides for your needs.
Now, here are some verses that show how God has promised to take care of you and fight for you in your life:
Psalm 55:22
"Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
Proverbs 10:3
"The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but He thwarts the craving of the wicked."
Isaiah 41:10
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Psalm 121:7-8
"The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
Psalm 23:4
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."
Psalm 91:10-11
"No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
Isaiah 54:17
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord.
These verses assure you that God watches over and protects the righteous in all circumstances. So do not be afraid when you go through any challenge; its end will be victory.
Prayer: Thank you, God, for your protection and faithfulness to me. I believe you will not leave me to be put to shame or to perish. Amen.

How to Attain the Freedom of Christ in Your Life
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32
Undoubtedly, there is an area or areas in your life where you need the freedom of Christ to deliver you from any form of oppression and control by the enemy. Or perhaps you are someone burdened with questions due to the challenges and situations you face in your life. Today's word says, *"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."* So how do you obtain this freedom?
The key to knowing the truth is that you must allow and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide you. John 16:13 says, "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come."
The Holy Spirit has the power to reveal the truth of God and to make you aware of the reality of things. When you face various challenges in your life and find it difficult to discern and understand what to do, this is the time to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into the truth of God's word, which will give you knowledge and direction to overcome all challenges.
When you read and study the Word of God without the Holy Spirit as your guide and teacher, you will not be able to gain the knowledge that will help you. In the book of Acts 8:26-40, you will find the story of an Ethiopian eunuch who was reading the scriptures written in Isaiah 53 but could not understand the truth in those writings until Philip, who was filled with the Holy Spirit, came and guided him to understand the meaning of those scriptures. As a result, he was saved and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour.
Therefore, today, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach and reveal to you the truth of God in every area of your life where you need God's help.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, I surrender to You for guidance; teach me to know the Word of God so that my life may change. Amen.

PRAY FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4:2 NIV
Prayer is how we talk to God, and it also helps us care about the needs of others. Through prayer, God gives us compassion and a sense of purpose.
We are encouraged to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:2); those who work for God (Matthew 9:38); all Christians, especially those who are suffering (Ephesians 6:18-20); Israel (Psalm 122:6); our enemies (Matthew 5:44); and those who don't believe (Romans 10:1).
While we often pray for our own needs, it’s also important to pray for the wisdom, well-being, and strength of others. This is where spiritual battles are won.
When we sincerely pray for others, we might notice more spiritual challenges in our own lives, but we also begin to see our problems differently.
As we spend less time focused on ourselves, prayer becomes a tool that helps us let go of self-centeredness. We are then able to follow Jesus' command to "Love one another, just as I have loved you" (John 15:12) and develop a heart for a world in need.
Prayer: Jesus, I pray for all people, especially those who don't believe. Help me to serve others. Amen.

GOD IS MOLDING YOU
"Behold, like the clay in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand." Jeremiah 18:6
There's something inherently painful in realizing that God is working on us. That there's something about us that doesn't quite please Him or fit His purpose. It hurts to think we fall short.
But as our Great Potter, God sees the process differently. He works on us because He sees potential in us and has something important in mind for our lives. It is a great honor because He is continuously molding us into the image of His Son, He is giving us an appearance that is unmistakably His, with increasing faith, capacity for His power, wisdom, and endurance.
In other words, the Father applies His discipline to our lives not out of anger or frustration, but out of His unconditional love and a wonderful vision of our place in His kingdom. It isn't something we should fear; rather, we should embrace it as making us more worthwhile, valuable, and effective.
So don't grow frustrated as God molds you. Instead, ask Him to show you what He is forming in you, accept His leadership, and grow stronger in Him.
Prayer Jesus, I trust You not only to mold me into something useful for Your service but to form Your image in me. Amen.

Don't let your mistakes and sins keep you away from God
"Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you." James 4:8 AMP
The only way to overcome the schemes and power of the enemy that separates you from God is to realize that you are in a battle. And the greatest battle we Christians face is overcoming sin.
Satan knows that sin and mistakes are the only things that can separate us from God. After Adam sinned and realized he was naked, he hid from God to avoid being seen. Therefore, sin creates enmity between you and God. Satan knows that once you are on bad terms with God, he has already won.
Now, you need to change your perspective. Don’t allow yourself to be at odds with God because of sin and mistakes. Jesus came to show us the reality of God's heart toward us—that God is not against you; He loves you and wants you to return to Him even if you have sinned. That is why He ate with tax collectors and accepted the woman who was a prostitute.
Our scripture says, "Come near to God, and He will come near to you." So, don’t stop praying to God because you have sinned. When you pray, make repentance your first priority, then continue with other prayers. Don’t allow sin to separate you from God. Even if you have failed many times, repent, and God will forgive you. Forgive yourself and don’t condemn yourself.
Don’t accept Satan’s thoughts that tell you you are unworthy before God. I assure you those thoughts are lies. God loves you. His word says, "Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:16
Prayer: Oh LORD, I approach Your throne of grace, knowing You are my God, and I am your Child, and You love me. Amen.

Restoring Your Family from Ruins
Your people will rebuild what has long been in ruins, building again on the old foundations. You will be known as the people who rebuilt the walls, who restored the ruined houses.” Isaiah 58:12 GNT
Today, you're reminded that no situation is beyond God’s power to restore. Even if your family is in ruins due to sin, curses, or poverty, God has a plan for your restoration. He calls you to rebuild, not on your own, but with His strength and guidance. With faith and perseverance, you can restore what has been broken and build a family that reflects God’s grace and love.
First, believe in His promise, then take the steps necessary, and watch as God transforms your family from ruins to a strong and blessed household. The journey may be tough, but with God, nothing is impossible.
Don’t be discouraged by the size of the task ahead of you. Remember, God specializes in taking what is broken and making it whole again. By trusting in Him, you will not only rebuild your own family but also become a beacon of hope for others.
The journey of rebuilding isn't easy, but you are not alone. With God by your side, you can rise from the ruins of past mistakes and break the chains of generational curses. Through prayer, faith, and a commitment to live according to God’s Word, your family can experience healing and transformation.
God wants you to raise up "age-old foundations," which means restoring the values and principles that bring life and blessing to your family. By putting God first, practising forgiveness, and seeking wisdom, you create a strong, lasting foundation for your family to thrive.
As you work to rebuild, God also wants you to become a source of strength and encouragement for others. You can be a "Repairer of Broken Walls," helping those around you who are struggling in similar ways. Your testimony of overcoming challenges can inspire others to rebuild their own families.
Prayer: Lord, I pray for your strength to finish the work you have given me in my family and in this world as a whole, to transform it from darkness to light. Amen

Trust and wait on God alone
"My soul waits in silence for God only; from Him is my salvation." Psalm 62:1
Have you wondered why God has allowed the challenges of your life, especially the ones that seem to undermine everything you depend on? When we encounter serious difficulties and often, many at once, we may be tempted to feel hopeless.
We find ourselves longing to have the Lord's help and wisdom to face the obstacles ahead.
You may not realize it, but this is God drawing you to Himself. He brings you to the point of realizing that all earthly resources and security have failed you. After that, there's only one place to go, and that's to God Himself.
David faced this repeatedly as he waited to become king of Israel, and it was why God called him "a man after His own heart" 1 Samuel 13:14. David realized there was only one source to help him in every instance, only one worthy of his complete devotion and trust. God is bringing you to that understanding as well.
So, as David said in Psalm 62:8, "Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us."
Prayer: Jesus, I know you are my refuge, strength, and salvation. In all these trials, you are my hope, and I rest in You. Amen.

ACT JUSTLY TO BRING BLESSINGS UPON YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD
"Whoever returns evil for good, evil will not depart from his house." Proverbs 17:13
Everything you do to others, whether good or bad, is a seed you are planting, and this seed will grow and bear fruit, and what is produced will return to you.
Jesus said, "Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven." Luke 6:37. He continued in the following verse, saying, "Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38.
Today, God is reminding us to cease doing evil and to embrace doing good. This is God's message for you to reflect upon, remembering that God shows no partiality or favouritism. Every action you take carries consequences. Don't deceive yourself into believing that you are too special, clever, or powerful to avoid the outcomes of the wrongs you have done.
Whatever you plan to do or are currently doing, if you know it is wrong, remember you are planting a seed. Today’s word says, "Whoever returns evil for good, evil will not depart from his house." So, reflect on yourself and your children, knowing that every evil thing you do will return to your house and your children will be the victims.
Therefore, in every area of your life, whether at work or in your office, act with justice. The price of doing evil to others is too great. Practice fairness and love towards everyone so that you and your household may be blessed.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, grant me a heart of wisdom and love to guide me in doing good to others so that my home may be filled with Your blessings. Amen.

LEARN FROM THE RIGHT PEOPLE
"Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. Philippians 3:17 NLT"
Today, I start with a question: From whom are you imitating the things you do? Paul tells the Philippians to learn from people who follow the example he taught them.
Here’s how it works. Paul says, "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1
And he adds, "learn from those who follow our example." Philippians 3:17
This means that Paul learned from Christ and then taught some of the Philippians, and now he wants others to imitate those who imitate him.
You will notice that the source of this behaviour, which these people are learning and following, is Christ, although it is Paul who taught them. So now, ask yourself: The things you are imitating and doing, where does it come from? The lifestyle you are living today, who is the source of it?
Jesus told the Pharisees, "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44
Therefore, we live with people whose father is Satan, and everything they do, they have learned from him. So, as a child of God, when you imitate them, you are imitating the devil's ways and behaviours.
These children of the devil are all over social media, TikTok, Instagram, and even on our TVs at home. Everything they do, they learn from their father—the clothes they wear, the songs they sing, the language they speak. What’s shocking today is that even in churches, people are singing songs without knowing where they come from and dancing in styles they don’t know their source.
May God help you to be the first one to say no! Learn and follow the example of those whose source is Christ. The world should be imitating you, not the other way around. Because Christ’s behaviour and character are of the highest dignity and honour.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask You to help me follow You. Let my life reflect You. Holy Spirit, help me. Amen.

GOD WILL SAVE YOU FROM THEIR TRAPS
"Pull me from the trap my enemies set for me, for I find protection in you alone. Psalms 31:4 NLT"
God is the one who protects us from all dangers and attacks from our enemies. No one is without enemies. Although Satan is our main enemy, he uses people to fight against us.
Some people have allowed their hearts to be filled with all kinds of evil, malice, hatred, and jealousy, and they don't want to see others succeed. Especially if you stand for righteousness and act justly, you are bound to encounter enemies who will even threaten to take your life.
David was confident of his safety because he trusted in God. That’s why he says, "You will free me from the net that is secretly set for me, for You are my refuge."
If you are in a situation where you have enemies trying to destroy you and sabotage your work, or people who have set traps for you, today surrender to God and make Him your refuge.
Do not rely on your own wisdom and strength. The Word of God says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Also, in Psalm 121:7-8, God assures you of His protection by saying, "The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
Prayer: Lord, I trust in You. I ask You to save me from all the traps my enemies have set for me. Amen.

DO NOT BE AFRAID, GOD IS WITH YOU
"I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand, and I will keep you... Isaiah 42:6"
God created you for a special purpose, and He is with you until you fulfil that purpose. Anything carrying God's purpose indeed faces opposition, and you will surely encounter many challenges as you pursue it.
This verse from the book of Isaiah speaks about the life of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, whom God sent into the world to bring and uphold His righteousness. When He sent Him, He assured Jesus that He would be with Him throughout His journey on earth until He completed the task He was given.
Now, the same God who was with Jesus Christ is with you today, and He created you for a specific purpose. The words He spoke to Christ while He was on earth are the same words He is saying to you today. Just as He was with Jesus Christ, He is with you today.
Looking at the life of Jesus on earth, the Word of God says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin. Hebrews 4:15." Therefore, Jesus went through the same trials you face. Isaiah 53:3 is written about Jesus "He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces; He was despised, and we held Him in low esteem."
So, in all these situations that Jesus faced, God was telling Him, "I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand, and I will keep you." The same message applies to you today.
Therefore, it does not matter what you are going through in your life or what challenges you face in the work that God has given you. Do not be afraid, for God says to you, "I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand, and I will keep you."
Prayer: Thank you, God, for being with me. I believe I will overcome all trials and challenges through Your strength and power. Amen.

THERE IS A FRIEND WHO IS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER
"Many companions may cause harm, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24
Life is a great teacher, and it teaches us many things. One of the important lessons it teaches is understanding the people we live with. It's hard to truly know someone until troubles arise. Only then do you see what kind of person they really are?
Today's verse says, "Many companions may cause harm..." and we have witnessed many people whose lives were ruined because of friends. However, there are also people whom God brings into our lives, as the verse continues: "there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." These are the people who stand by you during tough times, helping you through difficulties until you come out safely.
The key theme in today's message is loyalty. Loyalty has become a great challenge in our current society. There is widespread betrayal, starting within our families and among the friends around us. When you face challenges, instead of standing by your side and helping you, some people rejoice in your struggles, while others turn against you and attack you.
There is also significant betrayal when it comes to money. You may have lent or helped a close friend financially, trusting that they would repay you because of your friendship. However, they did not, and as a result, many people today have fallen into debt and serious financial problems because they tried to help their friends.
If you've gone through this situation, the first thing to do is ask God for the grace to forgive, forgive them for your own sake. Whatever you lost, God will restore to you in abundance. Also, pray for God to bless you with faithful friends. And remember, Jesus is our greatest friend who is always with us and has never left you. Trust in Him, and He will help you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank You for being a true friend. I ask that You separate me from bad people and bless me with loyal friends. Amen.

DIVINE PROVISION IN HARD TIMES
"They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the water gushed out forcefully. Isaiah 48:21"
This verse reveals God’s ability to provide for His people’s needs regardless of the environment they are in.
God has the power to give you what you need at any time and in any place. When the scripture says "They did not thirst when He led them through the desert," it shows God's power to make the impossible happen. You can be sure that God's provisions and blessings are not limited by circumstances. When you go through tough situations, that is when God brings you success.
Secondly, you’ll notice the verse says "when He led them through the desert," which means God Himself led the people through the desert. So, when you go through a tough situation like the desert – whether it's economic hardship or a season in your life where nothing seems to grow, and you are experiencing scarcity – sometimes God allows you to go through this for a special purpose, as written:
"Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:2-3"
So, when God takes you through a tough time or season, it’s to teach you humility and reliance on Him. While you are in this situation he will provide for you. Your life is not shaped by your environment or people, but by the word that God has spoken over you. When you learn to rely on Him and follow His commandments, you won’t lack water or food; He will provide for all your needs.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for Your love for me. I ask You to teach me to obey and rely on You even in difficult situations. Amen.

YOU HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED
"Who will accuse God's chosen people? God himself declares them not guilty!" Romans 8:33
There are tactics that Satan uses to create accusations and judgments that will discourage you and take away your confidence. First, he uses people who only see your mistakes, and their mouths are full of judgment. Surely, there are people in your life who love to condemn you and only see your faults. Do not listen to them—they are agents of Satan.
But there is another tactic that is not yet clear to many people. Satan uses the law of the Old Testament to condemn God's people. He does this by leading them away from believing in the grace of Christ and back to the law so he can use it to condemn them. Now, the Word of God says:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." John 3:16-18"
So, Jesus Christ came to save us from every kind of judgment and condemnation. When you believe in Jesus and turn away from sin, you have already received mercy, and if you make a mistake and sin, the Word of God says:
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 1 John 2:1-3"
Prayer: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your mercy towards me. I believe in Your grace, that You have forgiven me and justified me. I ask You to help me keep Your commands. Amen.

Let us exalt our God and worship him in spirit and truth. He deserves all the Glory and Honor because he has done wonderful and glorious things in our lives.
I wish you a glorious Sunday🙏🙌
Happy New Month
Choose the right friends
"Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble." Proverbs 13:20
Many people’s lives have been ruined because of bad friends. When you are close to an evil person who lacks wisdom and does not fear God, it is very easy for you to be influenced to do what that person does.
We are indeed well aware that some behaviors and actions do not please God, and you may find that your friend or close companion is engaged in them. However, because you do not want to offend them or are afraid to rebuke them, you end up just staying with them and tolerating them. This makes you a participant in those evil deeds.
But there are also worldly philosophies that have trapped people into friendships and associations with unworthy individuals. These are philosophies and wisdom that condemn the people of God, saying that we are not any better and that everyone is weak, so there is no need to distance yourself from anyone. They use phrases like "you think you are holier than others"—these words discourage many people, who end up becoming participants in inappropriate and evil activities.
The Word of God says:
"Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips." Proverbs 4:14-17, 24
Therefore, pray to God to help you make your own decisions. Don’t be afraid that someone will speak ill of you or that you will be seen as a bad person because you have refused to associate or be friends with bad people. God is with you, and He will help you find good friends—righteous people who will help you become wise and do good deeds.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are our greatest friend, I ask You to bring the right people into my life. I separate myself from all bad people in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

YOU MUST FORGIVE THOSE WHO HAVE WRONGED YOU.
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32."
The issue of forgiving those who have wronged us is not easy, given the reality of the wounds caused by those who have hurt us. However, forgiveness is not optional; it is mandatory. If you do not forgive those who wronged you, God will not forgive you. As He said in His word:
"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6:14-15."
Therefore, you see that for you to be forgiven of your sins, you must also forgive those who have wronged you. And I believe that you know you are not perfect and that you need forgiveness, so you must also forgive those who have wronged you.
When you hold on to judgment and bitterness in your heart against someone who has wronged you, it is as though you are judging yourself. This is because the principle of forgiveness works in this way: if you forgive, you are forgiven; if you judge, you are judged. The word of God says:
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32."
Today, God speaks to you again through His word: forgive and let go of all the wrongs that people have done to you. Do not say that the person who wronged you did it deliberately. You should have the intention to forgive and pray to God to help you. If you do so, you will be in a position to receive God's grace and forgiveness.
Prayer: Oh, LORD, I pray grant me the strength and ability to forgive all who have wronged me. I reject the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness in the name of Jesus. Amen.
