With Apple Vision Pro I can easily place the screen anywhere I want, in the air, on the wall, even on the ceiling. Take it with me to every room, outside, on the train, plane, in the hotel.
I can freely change screen size from tablet to a cinema screen, and at any time of the day I can darken any space and play games, enjoy content or work as if it were night. Or vice versa, at night, I can be in a bright daytime environment.
This is the most futuristic device I've ever used.
The way Apple Vision Pro adapts real hands to a virtual environment is incredible 🤯 Very immersive

Resolution is so high, that digital objects look very close to the real thing. They also adapt very well to the actual lighting in the room, and in some models you can see your room in the reflections 🤯

Day 3 with Apple Vision Pro 🥽✨
• Apple Immersive Video - one of the most impressive things I saw. Video quality + screen quality + Spatial Audio is on another level. I’ve seen a lot of 3D 180° videos in VR, but this one comes closest to the feeling of actually being there. Documentaries, concerts, football, basketball, etc. are great for this format. “Experience Immersive” promo video gave me goosebumps three times watching that 2 minute video.
• Mac Virtual Display - I wasn't impressed. Yes, the screen is pretty sharp, but not as sharp as I'm used to on an iMac 4.5K screen, and I feel micro-lag and the cursor doesn't move as smoothly across the screen. 10 minutes and I turned it off. It’s best for 13-14" MacBook users.
My VR journey began in 2015 (9 years ago 😳) with this Homido headset I purchased to use with my iPhone 5.
I could watch 3D content, 360 videos, and play simple games. And even though the whole experience wasn’t even close to polished, I loved it.
I demonstrated this to everyone I could, few understood the potential. But here we are in 2024 and Apple releases its Vision Pro spatial computer. Let's see where this takes us ✌️
Blending digital with the real world | Concept
How do you feel about virtual things in your home? Screens, widgets, AI assistants, art, replacing the ceiling, walls, floor and more.
I see this as a wildly exciting future we are approaching with all these advances in AR technology. Well, not to the same extent as I showed here, that your real room is completely empty and you only have virtual things. But augmenting reality by blending a real room and stuff in it with digital content.
Would you use this? And to what extent?
Prepare for Apple Vision Pro pre-order
• Have an iPhone or iPad with Face ID nearby. You’ll need to scan your face to help Apple determine the right size Light Seal and head band.
• Make sure your Apple Store app is up to date.
If you need optical inserts that accommodate most prescriptions, you’ll have to upload a valid, unexpired prescription from a U.S. eye-care professional after checkout.
IKEA for Apple Vision Pro
That's what I expect! Beautiful new apps that are volumetric and actually useful in real life. I really hope that developers will be interested in making apps for visionOS and will delight us with their awesome ideas for this new platform.

Читать полностью…That’s what a spatial computer is to me. The ability to open multiple apps side by side, freely change their position in space, change their size, work with them simultaneously simply by moving your gaze from one to the other. And so far only Apple Vision Pro can offer me this.

There is an illusion of viewing your memories, because it’s 1. First person. 2. Actual dimensions are preserved. 3. Hazy video edges blend into the real world. 4. You can be in the memory with your own hands, reaching for people or objects in the video. It is wild. One of the most sci-fi like tech I’ve experienced.
Читать полностью…It was a very quick session, about 15 minutes, with the most limited guest mode (the owner unboxed them 30 minutes ago). Here's how it went:
• I put it on, not the best comfort but ok (I was in a hurry)
• I'm calibrating my hands and eye tracking, it feels futuristic and very cool, I'm excited! 👀
• FOV is noticeably smaller than on the Meta Quest 3, there is darkness around 😕 (need a different light seal, closer to the lenses, probably a third party one)
• First I see a black screen with instructions saying to hold down the Digital Crown to calibrate. I see perfect black, OLED 😍
• The passthrough cameras turn on. Ok, pretty good, better than Quest 3, but not significantly, no wow (the lighting was so-so) 👌
• A virtual window appears, semi-transparent glass, beautiful. No pixels visible, clear, hanging in the air, I look around it and I love it 😍
• Eye tracking and fingers click works just as I expected, awesome, I enjoyed it👍
• All I could do was see the real world, spin the Digital Crown turning on a single virtual environment. It's realistic, sharp, clear, beautiful. I see my hands in this virtual space, they changed color to match the surroundings, it’s like I’m there 😍 but with a limited FOV 😕
Well, that's all I saw. But more is coming soon 😏
This is the most realistic graphics I've ever seen 🥽✨

I can’t imagine how beautiful this new spatial apps will look in Apple Vision Pro with its 4K per eye displays and high quality passthrough.
Depth, scale, eyes and hands input, Spatial Audio, immersive effects that happen around you in your space. Wow. I’m really looking forward to it.
