Earlier this summer, Ryan Elliott and Evan Baggs played back-to-back at Butik Festival in Slovenia. They said it was "one of those rare and special days when everyone—the dancers, the festival staff, the bartenders and the DJs—were all locked into one continuous groove and sharing a moment in time." Pole - Tempus
bandcamp / songwhip
Pole returns with another busted, bass-heavy woozer after 2020's unexpected "Fading". His most jazz-inspired record to date, it's stripped to the bare bones, assembled with brushy acoustic drum sounds, broken synthesizers and gut-wrenching subs.

Nueen - Diagrams of Thought
BALMAT04D 28.10.22 #ambient
bandcamp / songwhip / yam
Nueen has been developing his highly personal style of blissfully Balearic ambient over the past few years, with releases on labels like Quiet Time Tapes and Good Morning Tapes. On Diagrams of Thought, he explores new depths in his sound. His atmospheres remain bucolic, but there’s a disturbance at work, a hint of uncertainty swirling beneath seemingly placid pads.

Recommended to anyone who likes folky jazzy laid back music / Some of the most warm, well-composed, and textural instrumental music being made.

Thee Sacred Souls – Thee Sacred Souls
released August 26, 2022

Very nice soul album, directly in the vein of 60's and 70's soul, but with a modern sound. It's all sweet and sugar, and it's perfect like that.

Интересное интервью Род Моделла (он же Deepchord) на NTS, где он предстает словоохотливым рассказчиком с приятным английским (за исключением I mean / you know 😅).

Moiré – Circuits
Avenue 66 Oct 2022
bandcamp / songwhip / #electronics
Circuits on Avenue 66 is an album to sink deep into and enjoy the fuzzy patterns, melancholic pads and introspective atmospheres Moire offers up. It is an album of emotional depth, real intrigue and a deftness of touch that makes it as intriguing as it is otherworldly. trippy
