Filip Zavadlav gunned down 3 drug peddlers in 2020 in Split after his brother became indebted to them and they wouldn't leave him or his family alone. Despite working as a sailor and paying back the debt 3x over - the scum kept targeting him, his family and peddling drugs throughout Split:
JUDGE: Do you regret what you did?
FILIP: I do not regret it. I am happy that I removed those three people who were selling drugs in my Split. I did what the police should have done long ago. The only thing I regret is that I will spend the rest of my life locked behind bars. After all, I was forced — they (the drug dealers) persecuted me and tried to kill me several times.
JUDGE: I have no further questions.
FILIP: If they had done their job properly, they would be in prison now, not me.
JUDGE: We are finished for today.
Croatia's High Court reduced his sentence from 40 years to 35 years.
❄️ 🌨️ Early snowfall in the Western Balkans, particularly in Bosnia and Serbia, has caused significant disruption. The heavy, wet snow downed power lines and trees, leaving thousands without electricity. In some areas, snow accumulation reached over half a meter and could set records for October. Roads became impassable, and several municipalities, like Medvedja and Crna Trava in Serbia, also lost access to water and phone services. Emergency measures were enacted in affected areas.
The snowfall also closed roads in Bosnia, where authorities advised drivers to be cautious and reminded them of the upcoming winter tire requirement. The snowfall even surprised tourists at Bosnia's Jahorina ski center, where conditions shifted suddenly.
Added the last webcam image of Jahorina - next significant snow fall is expected on Oct 7th.

"In my 25 years I have never committed a crime or an offense, nor have I had any contact with drugs. I worked as a seaman on a ship. It is true that my brother bought drugs from some local guys — he couldn’t pay them so he took it on credit. Allegedly they then transferred that debt to me, as if I had taken something. Once I paid off his debt of €1,000 and told him to stop. However, after a while those guys called me again and threatened that I owed them €1,500. I ignored them, but they set up an ambush and beat me — there were three of them. Several times they came to my address and threatened me with messages that they would kill me; I couldn’t sleep because of the stress. Eventually they told me I owed them €3,000 or they would kill my brother. That’s when I decided to get a weapon and confront them — I knew the consequences, but I felt I had no choice. I reported them to the police three times, but they did not respond."

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has accused the EU and NATO of preparing a military intervention in Moldova, claiming it could lead to a "de facto occupation" following the country's parliamentary elections on September 28.
According to the SVR, NATO forces are massing in Romania near the Moldovan border, with plans for an amphibious deployment in Ukraine's Odesa region to pressure the breakaway Transnistria. The agency alleges Brussels aims to enforce "Russophobic policies" in Chisinau, potentially using election disputes as a pretext for intervention.
