✍️The Royal Australian Air Force has received two new MQ-4C Triton reconnaissance drones, increasing the number of UAVs to three units.

They will be based at Tindal Air Base. The Triton is a specialized drone. It is essentially the maritime version of the RQ-4 drones.

They are equipped with the MFAS radar, which provides 360-degree coverage and allows detection, tracking, and classification of maritime targets at long distances.
