❗️Prime minister Anthony Albanese and Victorian premier Jacinta Allan have been heckled at the News Corp bush summit in Ballarat this morning, with participants strongly criticising and interrupting both leaders over their environmental and climate change policies.

Albanese, responding to the heckling, said “I won’t bullshit people” as he backed in his government’s climate change and clean energy policies.

The PM said:

"I understand some people have a different view, but what I won’t do is come and, out of convenience, say what is convenient and people want to hear."

The crowd in Ballarat booed, laughed and jeered as Albanese talked about coal-fired power stations not stacking up economically.

❗️Every available asset and police capability was being deployed on the ground to apprehend Freeman, Deputy Commissioner Regional Operations Russell Barrett said.

Freeman, who has bush survival experience, was last seen wearing dark green tracksuit pants, a dark green rain jacket, brown Blundstone boots and reading glasses, police said.

Weather conditions on the ground were forecast to deteriorate on Friday as showers laced with hail and thunderstorms passed through, bringing wintry conditions including snowfall to 600m above sea level, senior meteorologist Angus Hines said.

Superintendent Brett Kahan said the terrain was difficult and dangerous.

"That's our purpose, and we will not rest until it occurs," he said.

Ищут 56-летнего Дези Фримана, который застрелил двух полицейских и отправился в бега, захватив жену с детьми.

Наряд полиции приехал с ордером на обыск к нему, а в ответ получил стрельбу. Фриман - так называемый "суверенный гражданин". Это неформальное движение на Западе, члены которого не признают власть государства и очень агрессивны к полиции.

❗️Dramatic police raid at a Porepunkah address last night as cops continue to hunt suspected police killer Dezi Freeman.

Fugitive Squad detectives teamed with the Special Operations Group members converged at the property and told Freeman's wife, Mali, and their 15-year-old son to 'come out with their hands up' at 8.40pm, neighbours reported.

Police cordoned the area and called out through an armoured all-terrain vehicle known as a 'BearCat' to communicate with those inside.

Neighbours were 'incredibly shocked' by the drama.

Mali and her son were interviewed then released pending further enquiries.
