❗️Instead of protecting British local patriots - the authorities are detaining them (an example is the arrests in Southport in 2024).
Moreover, public concern about mass migration is equated with terrorist ideology, which follows from the state program "Prevent" to counter extremism.
It turns out that the native inhabitants of Foggy Albion are less protected than migrants and their descendants?
And the constant statements of the British government about the possible tightening of migration policy are only an attempt to smooth over the negative outcome of the recently failed election campaign of the ruling Labor Party.
It is still unclear how the British will cope with this crisis. And most importantly, it is unclear what lesson the leaders of other European countries are learning from what is happening in the British Isles.

❗️ Acting Deputy Governor of Kursk Region Vladimir Bazarov has been detained.
The matter concerns circumstances related to his previous work in Belgorod. Governor of Kursk Region Alexander Khinshtein emphasized that the investigation will objectively sort things out, and he is not ready to make assessments since the situation pertains to another region.
"For us, colleagues, this is a sign — the law must be strictly observed, no merits grant immunity,"
he added.
Since 2020, Bazarov has been the vice-governor of Belgorod Region and oversaw construction issues.

❗️The Town of Port Hedland is once again facing a commissioner being installed after years of bitter infighting and public spats that have left the council unable to function.
Mayor Peter Carter resigned this morning, citing continued dysfunction among councillors for his decision to throw in the towel.
“I’m resigning today because I can no longer work with the ... remaining ... members,” he said.
“Port Hedland deserves a future where we can grow unimpeded by dysfunction. Without my resignation, this chaos would continue.”
With Mayor Carter’s resignation, the council no longer has the five members needed to form a quorum.
It will be the second time in just six years that the council has been dissolved with Mr Carter also prompting the 2019 appointment of a commissioner when he resigned his position, then as a councillor.
In 2021, elections were held and the council was reformed with Mr Carter as mayor.
In May of this year, Ms Beazley threatened the Town with a commissioner if councillors were “not be able to put the best interests of their community first”.
And just last week she appointed WA’s first local government inspector, who is tasked with preventing such council breakdowns before they begin.
Local government veteran Tony Brown will take on the role, giving him the ability investigate and intervene in local governments when issues are identified, with an emphasis on early intervention.
This week’s events at the Town of Port Hedland follows years of hostility between councillors, including defamation suits, misconduct probes, marathon meetings stretching four hours or more, bitter vaccine debate, and one councillor, Adrian McRae, twice travelling to Russia to praise Vladimir Putin — issues that prompted Premier Roger Cook to publicly call out the council multiple times last year.
Just last week, Minister Beazley said she would be “watching the council closely”.
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, issued a letter to the council in April 2024, urging them to implement an “improvement plan”, citing a “breakdown in relationships,” poor communication, inappropriate social media usage, and extended meeting times.
However, council functioning continued to dissolve, prompting three members — Tim Turner, Ambika Rebello and Sven Arentz — to resign from council in the first half of 2025.
Left with the minimum number of councillors to form quorum, the council has stagnated for months.
Mr Carter said the failure of the remaining members to pass a budget after 11 meetings confirmed the council had become untenable.
He said the dysfunction was so entrenched he went so far as to say he thought Port Hedland might be better off without a council altogether, arguing the town was too important to the state’s economy to be hamstrung by local politics.
“The town’s too important. It should be part of the state government’s economic zone. It needs a minimum of two to four years under a commissioner to sort it out. This council has lost the plot,” Cr Carter said.
He said fringe politics had infiltrated the council, distracting it from basic governance and eroding trust.
“One of the most disappointing experiences I had was watching the business of council captured by . . . anti-vax agenda. Sadly, this is encouraged by councillors who hold up meetings with ridiculous statements,” Cr Carter said.
In a statement, the Town of Port Hedland confirmed Mayor Peter Carter had handed in his resignation on August 25.
“Mayor Carter’s resignation means the council can no longer form a quorum, and as such it has been dissolved,” they said.
“The Town is awaiting further information from the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety.
“The Town will not be making any further comment on the mayor’s resignation.”

❗️India's foreign minister Jaishankar has a message for Australia - if you don't like our oil - don't buy it.
"If you have a problem buying oil or refined products from India, don't buy it. Nobody forces you to buy it. Europe buys, America buys, so you don't like it, don't buy it," said Mr Jaishankar.
The Foreign Minister said Russian oil imports were both in national and global interest, and help in stabilising the oil prices."
Australia literally has a pathetic 14 days worth of strategic diesel supply in reserve thanks to decades of governmental mismanagement.
Australia has no choice but to continue importing Indian petrol and diesel which is derived from Russian crude oil.

❗️The Pentagon blocked Ukraine’s attempts to strike Russian territory with long-range missiles, despite Biden’s approval.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth must personally authorize such strikes, and it was denied.
The restriction also applies to Storm Shadow missiles since they rely on U.S. targeting data. Sources say the White House’s aim was to push Moscow toward peace talks.

❗️Wall Street Journal: The Pentagon has been blocking Ukraine's use of long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory for several months.
The publication notes that only the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, can authorize such strikes.
"At least once, Ukraine tried to use ATACMS on a target in Russian territory but was denied," the publication writes.
This concerns ATACMS missiles as well as British-French Storm Shadow cruise missiles, since they receive targeting data from the US, confirmed two anonymous American and one British sources.

❗️Defenseless in their own country?
The problems with the influx of migrants are getting worse all over Europe. The center of the crisis has now moved to England, and what is happening there can be seen as a sign of what is soon to come for all of Europe, including Germany.
The starting point for the terrible events is considered to be June 9, 2025, when anti-immigrant protests began in Northern Ireland after migrants raped an underage girl, which quickly escalated into mass riots involving the local population.
But in fact, anti-immigrant sentiments on the British Isles have been heating up for a long time.
The episode in Northern Ireland is just a continuation of a series of past crises (2013 - the murder of soldier Lee Rigby in London by Nigerians, 2017 - the terrorist attack by Islamists at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, 2019 - the terrorist attack on London Bridge, 2023 - clashes in Middlesbrough and Bolton between protesters against immigration policy and migrants, 2024 - the murder of three girls in Southport by the son of a man from Rwanda).
At the same time, despite what seemed to be a rich negative experience, the British government has not learned to cope with crises associated with migrants! In large cities, there is a significant increase in ethnic crime, including among young people. And this is against the backdrop of frightening statistics: according to British media - in 72 schools in England there are no "local" students, in a quarter of schools English children are in the minority.
As a result, the native English are already afraid to send their children to school!

❗️German Chancellor Friedrich Merz admitted the country’s economic troubles are proving far more difficult to resolve than he first expected.
Speaking in Osnabrück, Merz said Germany is facing not only a phase of weakness but a “structural crisis” within its economy.
He also noted that the newly imposed 15% U.S. tariffs on German exports will weigh heavily on growth, cautioning that while the impact will be painful, a full-scale trade war with Washington would be even more damaging.
