​​One of the most profitable types of crypto arbitrage is buyout of order book walls.

Regarding the buyout of order book walls, this is one of those strong strategies where you can profit with the help of a scanner, and there is very little risk involved.

💥 Let's take an example with the coin ZEC: at one exchange, there was a very large sell wall that couldn't be immediately bought up because there wasn't much liquidity on the exchange.

🔝 Meanwhile, on other exchanges, the price of ZEC had already risen. This meant that you could buy this wall on the first exchange, transfer the coins to another exchange, and sell them there. Within a few days, this wall was buyout.

🔥 The term "wall" refers to a large volume of sell orders visible in the order book. By conducting many such transactions with a small price difference and commission, people could make 10-30% in a few hours, with a 3-5% spread.

⚡️This presented an opportunity to profit in a short amount of time. Such situations could occur with different coins, allowing people to earn from them.

​​Recently, we talked about the risk-free arbitrage strategy, and today let's talk about the basic withdrawal arbitrage strategy:

Step 1. Find a signal that a spread has appeared. For example, we took the TAP coin.

The signal is a notification from our cryptocurrency arbitrage scanner or screener.

Step 2. Check 2 exchanges for availability of deposit/withdraw and the possibility of transfer. In the case of TAP, we go to the Gate and Bybit exchanges.

At this stage, it is necessary to make sure that both exchanges have open input and output of cryptocurrency, and that they support transfers between each other. You can do this by checking the exchanges yourself. Also, check the orders in the order book.

Step 3. If input/output is closed, then add the coin to the blacklist.

If input or output of cryptocurrency is closed, then arbitrage is impossible. In this case, the coin should be added to the blacklist to avoid wasting time on its verification in the future.

Since our withdraw is open, we add this coin to the whitelist.

Step 4. If networks do not match, then find a bridge or a 3rd exchange.

If the deposit and withdraw networks do not match, then you need to find a bridge that will allow you to transfer cryptocurrency to the desired network. You should choose a bridge that specifically supports the coin you need.

(The easiest way to find this project is to write a question in the chat about which bridges it supports, or study its website as there may be such information)

Or find a 3rd exchange where you can make a deposit in network 1 (e.g. ether) and withdraw in network 2 (BSK). Plus, there is a chance to find a more successful exchange for buying/selling in the desired network, some small exchange that is not in the scanner.

(To find such an exchange, you can enter the required pair into the scanner and quickly extract a bunch of potentially suitable exchanges between which there is a spread for this pair)

Step 5. After checking everything, buy the coin.

If all conditions are met, you can start arbitrage. Buy the coin on the exchange with a lower price and sell it on the exchange with a higher price.

Step 6. Buy the coin on the exchange with a lower price and sell it on the exchange with a higher price.

We will add the necessary filter for hedging strategy within ~30 days. We will separately tell you about the hedging strategy in the next posts.

🔥 Useful nuances

Setting up the scanner for the spread range

By setting up the scanner for a spread range from 1 to 5%, you will receive more signals for those coins where input/output is open and networks match. There will be even more such coins in the range of 1 to 3%.

⚡️ Using a whitelist

If you have already checked some coins for arbitrage opportunities, it makes sense to add them to the whitelist.

You know for sure that these coins can be arbitrated between which exchanges, commission, average spread, etc. You set up notifications in your Telegram screener. This will allow you to receive notifications as soon as there is a spread for such coins.

Arbitrage based on the whitelist greatly helps increase the percentage of successful trades.

📍 Additional tips

Pay attention to the commission for deposit/withdrawal of cryptocurrency and always check the availability of withdrawal!

11. Low-liquidity exchanges. Arbitrageurs can find spreads on low-liquidity exchanges where asset prices may be incorrect. For example, the Acendex exchange, where the volume is small, and arbitrage could be done on BLUR for $20-50 per order.

But it's important not to fall for a scam exchange, so make sure to check projects before using them!

12. Placing walls on small exchanges. If someone places a large buy or sell order on a small exchange, for example, someone placed a $5k sell order on Gate for the SIS token, where orders are usually around $20-30. The price increased, and there was arbitrage through withdrawal for an hour.

13. Decoupling of stablecoin exchange rate. If the stablecoin exchange rate is decoupled from the fiat currency exchange rate, arbitrage can be profitable. We talked about such a case with USDC and other cryptocurrencies paired with this stablecoin.

14. Between 2 blockchains based on activity. If one blockchain is more active than the other, arbitrage can be profitable. For example, you can take BCS and less active BOBA. The working principle is the same as for the big + small exchange point.

15. Between 2 blockchains or DEXs for one coin. If one platform has a high level of liquidity, for example, 500k, and the second platform has a low level of liquidity, for example, 30k, then arbitrage can be profitable.

⚡️ In this case, it turns out that 8 of 10 transactions are closed in profit, and in general, out of 100 transactions per day, every second one will be in the plus if you have just started arbitraging. This also needs to be understood, the more experience, the more chances to get a profitable deal. And yes, a large number of attempts solve this.

☝️ There is an option with hedging, but this function will appear a little later, and we will talk about it in a separate post.

3) Everything above 1.5% is an anomaly, a normal spread is 0.8%-1.5%. Every anomaly needs to be studied separately. It can be a meme token, a scam token, or a token that suddenly falls or rises, and when transferring funds between exchanges, be prepared that it may fall sharply or rise. 4) Withdrawals take 15-20 minutes. Check the networks, there are delays in ETH and other networks, try to work in networks where withdrawal is fast, it is better to test in advance, on small volumes with a minimum commission, and when you understand how to work, increase the amount. The BSC network, Polygon, and Dot networks are fast.

We have added the lifetime of arbitrage opportunity to the web version of the scanner!

This function displays how long the spread lasts on each signal, allowing you to see how long a particular arbitrage opportunity is active.

💵 This is an excellent way to understand which coins are worth working with and which ones are not.

🚀 We calculate the lifespan individually for each user, based on your settings.

🔥 As soon as you open the screener, the lifespan of arbitrage opportunity begins to count down, depending on the minimum percentage that you set in your settings.

🧐 In other words, if you set the minimum percentage to 5%, it will show how long this arbitrage opportunity stays above 5%, and if the spread drops below 5%, the countdown is reset.

This is very useful data to determine whether to work with this signal or not.

​​🧐 In this post, we will explain what hedging is.

Hedging is the ability to reduce your risks during a transfer, meaning that with hedging, it doesn't matter what happens. If the coin falls, you profit from the futures but lose some percentage on the spot sale. If the coin rises, you earn on the spot but lose a bit on the futures.

1. You buy 1000 coins on the Bybit exchange for $1 and plan to sell them on another exchange, such as MEXC, for $1.05, which is a 5% profit.

2. During this transfer, you realize that the price could drop.

There is no guarantee that the price won't drop by 10%, 20%, or even 30% in the 5 minutes it takes to complete the transfer, especially if you're arbitraging some obscure coins.

🔥 In such a situation, you employ a hedging strategy to reduce your risks.

4. On MEXC futures, you open a short position at a price of $1.05 for the same amount of coins you plan to transfer, i.e., 1000 coins.

5. You transfer the coins, sell them, and then close the short position.

❗️Often, during significant volatility and price increases, the price difference between the spot and futures on the same exchange can vary significantly. It's important to note that if the prices differ, let's say you plan to sell at $1.05 on the spot, but you can only open a short position at $1.03, you will earn less, and this should be considered.

Additionally, it's possible that the spot price is $1.05, but you open a short position at $0.99, leading to a loss.

1. Listing on a new exchange. When a new token is listed on an exchange, there is often high price volatility. For example, we have already told you about how our clients earned +50% on cryptocurrency arbitrage? The case of listing the Arkham (ARKM) coin on Binance.

2. Launch of trading. When new trading pairs are launched on an exchange, there can also be large spreads. This is because traders try to assess demand and supply for the new trading pair.

4. Token migration to another network. When a token migrates to another network, its price may temporarily differ on exchanges that support both networks. Cryptocurrency Arbitrage Strategies. Which strategy suits you?

We have been asked a lot about this both during webinars and in our private chat for clients. Which arbitrage strategy should I use?

⚡️ Today we will look at a risk-free method. It is suitable for those who have a starting capital of $500.

✍🏼 Here is a small guide we give to all our clients.

❗️You choose coins that you would buy for the long term, and this is very important. Do not choose obscure coins that always have a huge spread. With this strategy, you need to carefully study the project.

To arbitrage such coins, you do not need to withdraw them. The classic method works further.

You buy the coin on one exchange and sell it on another. To sell the asset instantly, you must have a balance on both exchanges.

🔥 Let's consider the example of the Hedra coin:

1. Suppose you bought 1000 coins at a rate of $1 per coin.
2. Studied exchanges and found a pair on CoinBase and Kucoin.
3. Deposited 100 Hedra on CoinBase and ~$1000 USDT on Kucoin.
4. You put the coin in our scanner and simply monitor the spreads.
5. The bot sends you a pair that Hedra is trading at 1.01 USDT on CoinBase and 1.00 USDT on Kucoin.
6. We look carefully at the fees, let's assume they are 0.
7. We must also look at the order volumes in the order book.
8. Someone is willing to buy at a rate of 1.01 for $2000 on CoinBase.
9. They are selling at a rate of 1.00 for $8000 on Kucoin, and the price has been stable for a long time.

💥 It is also important to mention that you should not make a deal for more than 25% of the orders in the order book.

This is how risk-free arbitrage works. You do not need to withdraw, and the transaction takes 3-5 seconds, so the price will not drop. It is important to understand that you are buying for the long term, even if the withdrawal is closed, you have checked that the token is not a scam. There may be a situation when it starts to fall, as it happened with LUNA, but even with a closed withdrawal, you can arbitrage and earn on the token's fall. Therefore, always consider investment risks and invest in verified projects.

12. Then either wait for an arbitrage in the opposite direction or transfer tokens and USDT between exchanges if you see that the spread remains in this direction.
