⛏ The highest-performing mining chip in Nvidia's CMP 170HX series is now available to retail customers. Sales of the graphics card have started at Vipera, a Dubai-based online store, where a batch of 230 units has arrived.
The price of the graphics card is $4300. Before that, the device could only be bought at an auction for more than $5200.
⚡️ ProShares wants to remove restrictions on the maximum allowed amount of contracts
Last week, ProShares started getting close to the ceiling on the number of BTC futures contracts purchased. The company has submitted an application to the CME to remove these restrictions.
💰 The company now has 1,679 October contracts and 2,133 November contracts totaling $1.17 billion on its balance sheet, and the limit is 5,000 contracts.

There was a lull in the bitcoin market this weekend. The first cryptocurrency twice tried to break through the round level of $60,000, but soon rebounded upwards. As a result, trading in a narrow price range of $59,500-$61,700.
However, this morning the bulls took the initiative in their hands and started to push the price up. BTC has already reached the $63,000 mark and is trading near it right now.
The situation on the altcoin market is ambiguous. Some assets are growing by 5-10% for the last 24 hours, while others are declining. Higher volatility this weekend was demonstrated by SHIB.
UMI this weekend showed a decline to $0.05 and then returned to $0.06.

IOTA (MIOTA) is a cryptocurrency that operates outside the blockchain, unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum. It differs from blockchain in the structure of records. It has no blocks, chains or miners. Roughly speaking, it is a coin that is designed for the Internet of Things. The developers wanted to make it a unifying link between the elements of the IoT. The other task it is charged with is fast transactions. This was the impetus for the creation of the altcoin.
Even before the developers started working on the project, they decided that the cryptocurrency would provide such indicators:
- High transaction speed;
- Security;
- No transaction fees.
That is, the coin should have all the problems typical of Bitcoin eliminated. But the system cannot be called fully decentralized, because it has a built-in "coordinator node". This is a software component that the developers implemented to counter cyberattacks. It also controls the consensus of transactions, and helps keep the network running.
Its presence confuses many people, plus the "coordinator" has closed code. That is why the developers say that it will be removed in the future, but they don't give a timeline.

💰 Decentralized crosschain exchange zkLink raised $8.5 million
The investment round was led by Republic Crypto. Arrington Capital, DeFi Alliance, Huobi Ventures, Ascensive Assets, Morningstar Ventures, GSR and Marshland Capital participated.
⛓ zkLink offers crosschain token swaps from Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Huobi Eco Chain networks. For now, it is operating in test mode.
The money will go toward expanding the team, launching the core network, and adding new features such as stacking and cross-network farming.
🔥 600,000 ETH were burned on the Ethereum network
After the London update on August 5, 600,000 ETH worth $2.4 billion were burned. NFT marketplace OpenSea destroyed the most (85,700 ETH), transfers on the Ethereum network burned 53,800 ETH, and the Uniswap V2 exchange burned over 35,600 ETH.
Don't forget that there will be an Altair update on the Ethereum 2.0 network on October 27, which will allow developers to test the update mechanism in the core network before merging Ethereum 2.0 with the existing network on Proof-of-Work.
Perhaps after that we will know a more precise timeline for the Ethereum and Ethereum 2.0 merger.

🐋 The third-largest Bitcoin whale can bring down the BTC exchange rate by 80% by selling 10% of his portfolio if he wants to - opinion
One of the largest holders of the first cryptocurrency, owning 105,758 BTC at the moment, can significantly influence the BTC rate by selling a small part of his portfolio and buying on drawdowns. Typically, Whale sells on every upside and buys back where the TA advises against it.
Altogether in October the whale sold 7000 BTC (sales minus buys), and in September bought about 2800 BTC.
There is an opinion that by selling just 10% of his portfolio he can bring down the BTC rate by 80%. But as we understand, this is not the only large holder who manipulates the market.

The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) published a report where analysts focus their attention on the fact that the ecosystem of the first cryptocurrency is still dominated by big players.

ProShares went further and bought 1,400 contracts expiring in November. But it is already getting close to the new limit of 5,000 contracts. At this rate, it will be reached very quickly.
