The Enemy of Knowledge
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
❝Sins have many side-effects. One of them is that they steal knowledge from you.❞

If you struggle with leaving harām, read the following dūʿā:
اللّهُـمَّ اكْفِـني بِحَلالِـكَ عَنْ حَـرامِـكَ
Allāhummakfinī biḥalālika ‘an ḥarāmika,
O Allāh, suffice me with what You have made halāl over what You have made harām,
وَأَغْنِـني بِفَضْـلِكِ عَمَّـنْ سِـواكَ
wa aghninī bi faḍlika `amman siwāka
and make me independent of all others besides You.

ما كيفية التعامل مع الوالدين الذَيْن لم يصلّيا ؟
السؤال: أبي لا يقيم الصلاة في المسجد ولا في البيت فهل إذا أمرته بإقام الصلاة ولم يصل هل يجب علي أن اخرج من البيت ام لا ؟
Question:
My father doesn't establish Ṣalah in the masjid or the house. So, if I instruct him to establish the prayers and he doesn't pray, does it become obligatory upon me to leave the house or not?
الشيخ: عليك أن تنصحه دائما وتجتهد في نصيحته بالأسلوب الحسن والكلام الطيب
Shaykh: It is upon you to continuously advise him and strive in it with an excellent manner and good speech.
وينبغي ألا تخرج لأن وجودك عنده من اسباب هدايته.
And it's obligatory that you do not leave because your presence with him is from the means of guiding him.

ʿĀʾisha رضي الله عنها said:
🔷 I have surely been given nine virtues which were not given to any other woman after Maryam b. ʿImrān:
1⃣ Jibrīl (ʿalayhi al-salām) descended with my image in his dream until the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was commanded to marry me,
2⃣ He married me when I was a virgin and he did not marry a virgin other than me,
3⃣ His soul was taken while his head was in my lap,
4⃣ He was buried in my home while the angels surrounded my home,
5⃣ al-Waḥī (ie: revelation) descended while I was with him under his blanket,
6⃣ I am the daughter of his caliph and his friend,
7⃣ My name was cleared of the slander from the heavens,
8⃣ I was created ṭayyibah (ie: pure) for one who is ṭayyib (ie: pure),
9⃣ And I have been promised maġfirah (ie: forgiveness) and a generous reward.”
سير أعلام النبلاء ٢/١٤١
قال بعض السلف :
إن هذه الأخلاق وهائب ؛ وإن اللهَ إذا أحبَّ عبده وهبهُ منها
اللهم اهدنا لأحسن الأخلاق فإنه لا يهدي لأحسنها إلا أنت
واصرف عنا سيئها فإنه لا يصرف عنا سيئها إلا أنت
Some of the pious predecessors said:
"These good manners are blessings, and if Allah loves His servant, He bestows them upon him.
O Allah, guide us to the best of manners, for none can guide to the best of them except You.
And turn away from us their worst, for none can turn them away from us except You."

🕊️ We never truly know which Friday will be our last.
Perhaps this very Jumu‘ah is the one when our names will be called, when our hearts will stop beating, and our souls will return to the Lord who blessed us with countless chances to repent. Every Friday that dawns is not just another day it is a precious invitation from Allah, a reminder to cleanse our hearts, to renew our intentions, and to come closer to the mercy that never ends.
So let every Jumu‘ah be lived as though it were our final one with hearts softened by repentance, eyes humbled by tears, and tongues alive with dhikr and salawāt upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad pbh. Let our hands be open in giving, our hearts open in forgiving, and our souls open in yearning for Allah’s pleasure. Let us greet this blessed day with gratitude, perform our ghusl with love, wear our best for the sake of the One who gave us everything, and fill our homes and hearts with the fragrance of faith.
For one day, the call to Jumu‘ah will reach our ears for the last time. The sun will rise, the Adhān will echo, and others will walk to the masjid but we will be gone, returning to the earth we once walked upon. Before that day comes, let us live every Friday as a gift, every salah as a farewell, and every breath as a whisper of Alhamdulillah.
🌸 May Allah make every Jumu‘ah a light upon our path, a purification for our hearts, and a means to draw nearer to Him until the day we meet Him in peace. 🤍
A man said,
“O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, the laws of Islam are too many for me, so tell me something I can hold onto.”
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said,
“Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allāh.”

The Excellence of Fasting the Month of Muharram & the Day of Aashooraa
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Shaykhul-Islaam Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhaab (d. 1206H) rahimahullaah mentions in his book ‘Aadaab al-Mashy ilas Salaah':
“[And it is from the Sunnah (supererogatory)] to fast the month of Muharram, the best of it being the ninth and the tenth (days). And it is from the Sunnah (recommended) to gather between the two of them (i.e. by fasting the ninth day and tenth day together). And everything that is mentioned regarding the day of Aashooraa pertaining to actions – other than fasting – then there is no basis for that, rather it is an innovation.”
Shaykh Abdul-Muhsin al-Abaad hafidhahullaah mentions in explanation:
1. That which indicates the excellence of fasting the month of Muharram is the narration of Abu Hurayrah radiyAllaahu anhu that he said: The Prophet sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam said: “The best of fasting after the month of Ramadaan is the month of Allaah, Muharram. And the most excellent prayer after the obligatory prayer is the night prayer.” [Reported by Muslim no. 1163]
2. And that which indicates the excellence of fasting the tenth and ninth days of the month of Muharram is the narration of Abu Qataadah radiyAllaahu anhu that the Messenger of Allaah was asked about fasting on the day of Aashooraaa (10th day of Muharram), so he said: “It expiates the sins of the previous year.” [Reported by Muslim no. 1162]
And the narration of Ibn Abbaas radiyAllaahu anhumaa that he said: The Messenger of Allaah sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam said: “If I live until the next year, I will certainly fast on the ninth day.” [Reported by Muslim no. 1134]

*The rewards for fasting the 9th of Dhul Hijjah*
Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Arafah and He said:
“It expiates for the past and coming years.”
Narrated by Muslim (1162).
According to another report: “I ask Allah that it may expiate for (the sins of) the year that comes before it and the year that comes after it.”

حتى وإن كنت لا تشتهي كُل لأن النبي ﷺ أمرك، قال: "تسحروا"
📤ثقِّل ميزانك بنشر العلم وبالتواصي بالعمل به🤝
*نشر العلم حسناتٌ جارية يصلك ثوابها وأنت في قبرك*
قال ابن الجوزي-رحمه الله-:
"من أحب ألا ينقطع عمله بعد موته فلينشر العلم" 📚التذكرة ٥٥
Suhoor brings blessings—do not deprive yourself of them.
Even if you do not feel hungry, eat, because the Prophet ﷺ commanded it. He said: "Have suhoor."
📤 Increase your good deeds by spreading knowledge and encouraging others to act upon it. 🤝
Sharing knowledge is an ongoing charity; its rewards will reach you even in your grave.
Ibn al-Jawzi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"Whoever wishes for their deeds not to cease after death, let them spread knowledge."

English: Shaykh Ibn ' uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"That in spreading knowledge you spread the religion of Allah
It consists of the mujahideen for the sake of Allah
The struggle for God's sake opens the country country by country
Until religion spreads in them , and you open hearts
By knowledge, the law of Allah will be published therein."

What you spoiled people for, you like it.

One of the most astonishing blessings upon the human being is forgetfulness.
Without it:
• Nobody would let go of anything
• Regret would not pass
• Grief would not die
• Consolation would be impossible
• Pleasures could not be enjoyed remembering the harms

قال الله جل وعلا بالمشركَيْن من الوالدين { وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰۤ أَن تُشۡرِكَ بِی مَا لَیۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمࣱ فَلَا تُطِعۡهُمَاۖ وَصَاحِبۡهُمَا فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا مَعۡرُوفࣰاۖ } [سُورَةُ لُقۡمَانَ: ١٥]
Allāh, the Exalted said about the parents who are mushrikun (polytheists): "But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly." [Sūrah Luqmān, 15]
فأمر الله ولد المشركَيْن أن يصاحبهما في الدنيا معروفا ولم يأمره بخروج عنهما فأنت تصاحبهما في الدنيا معروفا بكلام الطيب وقضاء حاجته الجائزه طعامه وشرابه وكسوته
Therefore, Allāh commanded the son of the mushrikun (polytheists) to behave kindly with them in the dunyā and He did not command him to leave them. So you behave kindly with them in this world by speaking good, fulfilling their needs, and preparing for them food, drink and clothes.
تنصح له دائما تدعو له في سجودك في آخر صلاتك وفي كل وقت أن الله يهديه وأن الله يمُنّ عليه بالتوفيق ويشرح قلبه للايمان
Advise him always and make dua for him in your sujūd, towards the end of your ṣalah, and during all times that Allāh guides him, bestows upon him tawfīq (success), and opens his heart to Imān.
ولا تخرج عنه ولكن بالاساليب الحسن والكلام الطيب مع اللين. تدعو الله يأتي باسبابه.
You should not leave him, but deal with them with excellent mannerisms and good speech with gentleness. Supplicate to Allah that He brings about its means (for his guidance).
ثم أيضا تعرف على الناس الطيبين الذين يعرفهم ويُقدِّرهم حتى ياتوا إليه وحتى ينصحوه ويساعدوك على اسباب الهداية
Also, find some good people whom he knows and respects, so that they come to him, advise him, and help you with the means of guiding him.

قال الأب لإبنه: احذر يا بني أين تضع قدميك.
رد الإبن قائلاً: إحذر أنت يا أبي فأنا أتبع خطواتك!
The father told his son : be careful where you place your feet, son.
The son replied saying: Dad, you be careful cause I'm following your footsteps!
ما رأيتُ أحدًا ازدادَ طاعةً لله، إلا ازدادَ بصُحبةِ الصالحينَ حرصًا.
— ابن الجوزي رحمه الله
Translation:
“I have never seen anyone increase in obedience to Allah except that their desire for righteous companionship also increased.”
امضي ولا تلتفت الملتفت لا يصل “.

Make use of Ramadān!
Time will pass very quickly, as if they were mere moments. We will be welcoming Ramadān, then we bade it farewell, and only a short period of time will pass and we will be welcoming Ramadān again.
So we should hasten to do good deeds in this month and strive to fill it with that which Allaah is pleased with and with that which will help us on the Day when we meet HIM.
قال إبراهيم النخعي رحمه الله:
Ibrāhīm an-Nakha’ī -may Allāh have mercy upon him- said:
صوم يوم من رمضان أفضل من ألف يوم،
Fasting a day of Ramadān is better than a thousand days,
وتسبيحة فيه أفضل من ألف تسبيحة،
And a Tasbīh (saying Subhanallāh) in it is better than a thousand Tasbīh,
وركعة فيه أفضل من ألف ركعة،
And a Raka’ah in it is better than a thousand Raka’ah.

Show-off on social media:
In this age of materialism and social media, people tend to share the good things they have, i.e., beauty, house, job, children, food, clothes, cars, etc.
This is natural, and this is often done with good intentions, but it has some unintended negative consequences:
Some people will feel bad, wishing they could have the same, others may get jealous and the evil eye could hit.
For these reasons, even if these things are not shared with the intention of show-off, we should try to minimize this as much as possible, remain low-key, to avoid putting other people in fitnah, and to safeguard our blessings.
There is also a concept called 'كفر نعمة', [ungratefulness for the blessings of God], and this usually happens, when we see someone that has more worldly blessings than us.
According to some scholars, this was the reason why the queen ant told her colony to enter their dwellings when Sulayman and his army were marching.
Imam Fakhr al-Razi writes:
وثالثها : ما رأيت في بعض الكتب أن تلك النملة إنما أمرت غيرها بالدخول لأنها خافت على قومها أنها إذا رأت سليمان في جلالته، فربما وقعت في كفران نعمة الله تعالى وهذا هو المراد بقوله :﴿لا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَـانُ﴾ فأمرتها بالدخول في مساكنها لئلا ترى تلك النعم فلا تقع في كفران نعمة الله تعالى، وهذا تنبيه على أن مجالسة أرباب الدنيا محذورة

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘆: '𝗦𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂.' [𝗤𝘂𝗿'𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟳:𝟭𝟴].
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱.'

Imam al-Qurtubi also mentioned this as one possible interpretation:
لم ترِد ( حطم النفوس)، وإنما أرادت ( حطم القلوب)
'𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻: [𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀], 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁: [𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀].'

If sometimes we do see the blessings God has bestowed upon others, and these ill feelings do arise within ourselves, we should remember that God said:
نحن قسمنا بینهم معیشتهم فی الحیاة الدّنیا!
'𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗘, 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.' [Qur'an 43:32].
It is the Will and Decree of God, He tests some with poverty, and others with wealth.
والعاقبة للمتقين!

#أجمل_شروق_لكوكب_الأرض على سطح القمر في النهار
على سطح الأرض نرى شروق الشمس وكذلك شروق القمر.
لكن لو كنت على سطح القمر فهكذا سيكون منظر شروق الأرض ( بعدسة تلسكوب القمر الصناعي الياباني كاغويا ).
انظر الى منتصف الفيديو حيث الأفق ، سترى كرة زرقاء ترتفع ببطء نحو الأعلى.... إنها الأرض كوكبنا الأزرق المضيء...
تذكر أنك جزء من هذه الكرة الزرقاء التي تصعد في السماء ببطء...
هل ادركت عظمة خلق الله... ؟
... سبحان من خلق ... فابدع ... فأدهش.

🌿 عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنَّهُ كانَ معَ رسولِ اللَّهِ صلّى اللَّه عليه وسلم جالسًا ورجلٌ يصلِّي ثمَّ دعا:
*اللَّهمَّ إنِّي أسألُكَ بأنَّ لَكَ الحمدُ لا إلَهَ إلَّا أنتَ المنَّانُ بديعُ السَّمواتِ والأرضِ يا ذا الجلالِ والإِكرامِ يا حيُّ يا قيُّومُ*
فقالَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليْهِ وسلَّمَ: لقد دعا اللَّهَ باسمِهِ العظيمِ الَّذي إذا دعيَ بِهِ أجابَ وإذا سئلَ بِهِ أعطى

🌿 Narrated by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): He was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man was praying. Then the man supplicated,
*"O Allah, I ask You as all praise is due to You; there is no deity except You, the Most Generous, Creator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer."*
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) then said, "Indeed, he has invoked upon Allah by His greatest name, which when invoked, He answers, and when asked, He gives."
