Like trans women can be drag queens but they shouldn't be assumed to be one when they're dressing feminine and that's where I'd get dysphoric personally if I was a trans woman. Like unless it's clearly an elaborate fake eyelash costume (and even then maybe that's the person's personal style) like idk. Drag is a very specific style. When people say drag or crossdressing is just Man In Dress. Well it's misgendering to say a trans woman is in drag or crossdressing then unless she identifies as a drag queen and was trying to dress in that style

One of the things I don't like about this show is them claiming to celebrate androgyny, then turning around and sending someone home for being "too man-ish"

And not only that, but if i was mtf instead, I don't think I could stomach watching this show. It's already kinda hard without throwing myself into the contestants instead of ru, but the transphobia is rampant and it sucks

If they're not cis men its not been revealed to me so far. That being said, some have stated in the dressing rooms that when they're in drag, they ARE women and others in the same conversation have stated that in drag they ARE men and some have typically female names and others dont and its never been brought up.
