The Israeli Foreign Ministry deleted a condolence post from its social media platforms mourning Pope Francis, later claiming it was published by mistake, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The now-removed message, “Rest in peace, Pope Francis. May his memory be a blessing,” was reportedly deleted due to Pope Francis' comments on "Israel's" war on Gaza, in which he described it as “cruelty, not war” with genocidal characteristics.

🟢🇺🇸: General Atomics, a #US weapons firm, have announced their new drone-mounted laser weapon. The system was unveiled at the "Sea, Air Space 2025" weapons convention in Maryland, USA. Displayed on a "Sea Guardian" drone, expo representatives from the company claimed that the laser is - as a first in the field - capable of melting missiles mid-air.

The exhibition performance cited that the laser was strong enough to destroy small drones and similar targets in its normal operating parameters, but that it could potentially be developed further enough to enable melting through larger aircraft and missiles, such as the Iranian-style Shahed drones. This is said, by Defence Industries EU, to be a significant advancement in directed energy weapons for airborne platforms.

Fires continue to burn at the Yaffa School, which houses displaced people in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, after it was bombed by the IOF.

Several new airstrikes targeted east of Rafah, Tal Al-Zaatar, and east of Khan Younis. Shelling targeting east and southeast of Khan Younis and Gaza City. Demolition operations continue across the southern Strip.

Children are being burned as they sleep as their tents are bombed, in the heaviest night of bombing, where all parts of the Strip are targeted.
