CITI: OCTOBER CPI, JOBS DATA MAY STILL BE RELEASED
Despite shutdown disruptions, Citi economists say October CPI and payrolls could still be published, though possibly less reliable than usual. Agencies may fill gaps with retrospective surveys and estimates. Citi expects soft labor data and sees the Fed cutting rates in December, January, and March.

JPMORGAN TURNS BULLISH ON CIRCLE AND STABLECOINS
JPMorgan upgraded Circle to overweight from underweight and raised its price target to $100 from $94, signaling about 16% upside. Analyst Kenneth Worthington cited improving fundamentals and Circle’s strong third-quarter results.
Shares of Circle (CRCL) are up 178% from their $31 IPO price but remain 67% below June highs, which Worthington sees as a buying opportunity. He said stablecoins are moving further into mainstream finance, with Circle’s USDC leading the trend. Circle shares rose over 1% after the upgrade.
