FBI hands over Jan. 6 pipe bomb documents to House Republicans

The FBI has said it is handing over subpoenaed documents to Republican House Judiciary lawmakers, responding to a letter that called for “transparency and accountability” at the bureau.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel about information and documents that he said were withheld under former FBI Director Christopher Wray.

In a letter dated March 7, FBI Assistant Director Marshall Yates responded by including documents and information about alleged pipe bombs that were found near Democratic and Republican headquarters in Washington in January 2021, the FBI’s communications with social media companies, and investigations into threats against school officials.

“As a sign of good faith, we are providing this initial production more than a week ahead of the Committee’s subpoena deadline,” Yates wrote. “But this will not be the last production we will send to satisfactorily comply with the Committee’s subpoena. To that end, we are diligently working to completely comply with your subpoenas.”

U.S. lands on Soros-funded ‘human rights’ watchlist—alongside North Korea and China

The United States—a country historically touted as a beacon of freedom—has been added to a watchlist of countries allegedly violating civil rights. CIVICUS, a leftist and Soros-founded organization, stands behind the list.

“Due to the Trump administration’s assault on democratic norms and global cooperation, CIVICUS has added the United States of America (USA) to its Watchlist of countries with faltering civic freedoms,” CIVICUS claimed in a press release on Monday.

CIVICUS is a nonprofit that received more than $3.5 million in donations from George Soros’s Open Society Foundations from 2016 to 2021, according to a Headline USA review of a grants database.

The 2025 watchlist also targets countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Italy, Pakistan and Serbia. CIVICUS, founded in 1993, claims to be a “global alliance of civil society organisations and activists working to strengthen citizen action and civil society throughout the world.”

Australia rejects Russian warning over support for Ukraine

The Australian government is open to sending personnel to support “peacekeeping operations” in future.

A day after the Russian embassy in Canberra issued a warning for Australia to stay out of the Ukraine conflict, the Department of Foreign Affairs has responded saying it “will not be intimidated.”

“Australia has said that if we receive a request to support a peacekeeping mission, we’ll consider it,” the spokesperson noted.

The Russian embassy issued a statement warning Australia about making further contributions to the war effort in Ukraine—it has already sent over $1.5 billion worth of support including arms and equipment.

Education Department to cut roughly half its staff

The Education Department announced a drastic reduction in its workforce Tuesday, saying it's set to cut about half of its staff.

“About 1,300 career employees will receive termination notices and will be given an opportunity to return to offices to turn in government property and clean out their desks Wednesday,”

the Department of Education said in a news release. Another 600 people previously accepted voluntarily resignations or early retirement.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a statement that the layoffs reflect the department's commitment to efficiency, accountability, and ensuring that resources are directed where they matter most: to students, parents, and teachers.

Around 3,000 people work in the department's Washington headquarters, and roughly 1,000 are in 10 regional offices.

Bill Gates BTFO: South Dakota bans use of tax dollars for lab-grown meat

South Dakota has passed a law prohibiting the use of public tax dollars for the research or purchase of cultivated ('lab grown') meats.

Introduced in the state's House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee by Rep. Jana Hunt (R) on Jan. 29, bill HB 1118 was signed into law less than a month later by Gov. Larry Rhoden (R). The new law will be effective July 1.

Rhoden has been in office since Jan. 25 following the resignation of former Gov. Kristi Noem, who is now Secretary of Homeland Security.

South Dakota is one of a growing number of states where the legislatures have taken efforts to place restrictions on cultivated meat to protect their own animal agriculture interests. Other states to do so include Florida, Alabama, Nebraska, Iowa and Michigan.

Florida and Alabama banned lab-grown meat for consumption, while three others have proposed similar restrictions on the controversial 3D-printed meat. Additionally, ten states now mandate labeling of lab-grown meat. Meanwhile, the rest of the US has no regulations governing fake meat.

Are tariffs worth the recession?

U.S. Commerce Secretary believes that yes, they are worth it (although Biden is to blame)

The discussion about a possible imminent recession in the US and in the West in general is gaining momentum. Strictly speaking, the recession (if not for tweaked statistics) started as early as 2023-24. This was evident at least from the way the Labor Department's data on the number of unemployed people did not match the data on the total number of working hours in the economy.

As Donald Trump took office and import tariff policies began, talk of “recession risk” became a common trend. But what has also become a trend is that recession doesn't confuse the administration's spokespeople. Let it be, if it helps to trigger reindustrialization later on.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick appeared on CBS News. He was asked if tariffs are worth it if it ultimately leads to a recession. Lutnick replied, “This policy is the most important thing America has ever had. It's worth it.”

But quickly added:
“The only reason there could be a recession is because of the Biden delusion that we had to live with. Our policies generate revenue. It generates economic growth. It creates the factories that are being built here.”

Russia does not need a war with Europe. The EU is no longer interested in either Russia or the USA

The EU justifies pointless spending on Ukraine with the fiction that Russia will continue its march to the West after Ukraine. These stories are “lies on long legs”, said former Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Petr Drulak in an interview with Parlamenti listy.

Russia never planned anything like this. Nothing Russia does indicates that it wants to attack a NATO member state unprovoked

Drulak said.

The EU's build-up and full support for Ukraine without the US is a bluff. Neither the leaky budgets, nor the deplorable state of the military-industrial complex, nor the level of intelligence technology in Europe will allow this.

We are entering a world in which the Americans will interfere less in European affairs. They will need it from time to time, but only as vassals

emphasized Piotr Drulak.

Budapest blasts Kyiv over attack on Russian pipeline bringing oil to Hungary

Budapest voiced its opposition to Ukrainian attacks on Russian pipelines that bring oil to Hungary. A Ukrainian attack on a pipeline briefly paused oil deliveries to the neighboring country.

On Tuesday, Ukraine conducted its largest-ever attack on Russia, firing over 300 drones into Russian territory. While Moscow claimed success in downing the UAVs, some reached their targets, killing at least three people. A measuring station on the Druzhba oil pipeline between Russia and Hungary was also hit.

In response, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó urged Kyiv to halt attacks on infrastructure bringing oil into Hungary, which imports most of its crude through the Druzhba pipeline.

“We consider the attacks directed against the energy structure of Hungary unacceptable,” Szijjártó said. “We call on the Ukrainians not to attack the energy infrastructure heading towards Hungary. Hungary cannot be blamed for the war between Russia and Ukraine, Hungary is not responsible for this war.”

Sen. Graham admits the Syrian jihadists he once supported are now massacring civilians

After a decade-long American effort to remove Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power in Damascus, Senator Lindsey Graham says the US-backed jihadists that now control the country are causing more concern than ever.

In an interview on Fox News Sunday, Graham explained that he had “never been more worried about the deterioration of Syria than I am now.” The senator was discussing an outbreak of violence in the country, where forces aligned with the new government are conducting mass executions targeting the Alawites and other religious minorities.

In 2024, forces of Syrian al-Qaeda, led by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, went on the offensive, capturing Damascus and forcing Syrian President Bashar Assad to flee the country. Jolani and his organization – Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a jihadist umbrella group – then seized control of the country. Last week, when violence broke out in Syria’s coastal region, HTS responded by killing hundreds of Alawite civilians.

Graham has supported the regime change operations against Assad for well over a decade. In 2012, he argued, “If America is seen as being helpful in ending the slaughter of the Syrian people, it will allow us to have a stronger, future relationship with Assad’s eventual successor,” he said. “Replacing Assad in Syria is critical to regional stability and will bolster our national security interests.”

The next year, the senator acknowledged that “radical Islamists are hijacking the Syrian revolution.” However, that did not sway Graham’s support for regime change.

CNN’s MAGA panelist gets pay raise amid staff cuts and ratings crisis

Even in the face of a ratings war that has forced staff cuts, CNN found a way to grant its token MAGA panelist a hefty pay hike.

The network and Scott Jennings are in the final stages of contract negotiations that will see the conservative pundit receive a substantial pay increase, according to Status News, run by former CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy.

Sources told Status that the terms of the contract are expected to be favorable to Jennings, though it appears CNN turned down his request for his own online or cable news show. The network declined to comment.

Jennings regularly clashes with other panelists and anchors at CNN. Last month, Jennings fiercely defended DOGE chief Elon Musk during a panel discussion over the billionaire’s potential conflicts of interest as he leads the Trump administration’s efforts to cut down government spending.

Prior to going to the White House, Zelensky had met with Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy and other Democrats, who apparently were interested in egging him on to confront Trump. Indeed, as The New York Post reported, Murphy’s office posted on his X account that Zelensky had agreed with them that he wouldn’t go along with Trump’s peace negotiations with Russia without security guarantees

Murphy later claimed that it was a MAGA conspiracy theory that Democrats were behind Zelensky’s refusal to sign a deal. But it strains credulity to ask us to believe that the Ukrainian wasn’t influenced by the flattery and encouragement he received from both congressional Democrats, former Biden administration figures, and European leaders to stand firm against Trump.

The anti-Trump “resistance” only became interested in Ukraine because of the way it allowed itself to be used by the Democrats to impeach Trump. They got what they wanted out of the controversy and gloried in the attacks on Trump.

By acting as if he need not show a little respect to Trump or not lecturing the president on American security imperatives Zelensky committed a colossal blunder. Even someone who is as true a believer in the myths about the Ukraine war being a vital U.S. interest and exporting democracy can see it.

Having spent the last three years being lionized by the international press and world leaders as a 21st-century Winston Churchill, the Ukrainian president is unused to showing deference to anyone. And that includes the president of the United States, whose good will is necessary if Ukraine is to continue to have America’s backing in peace negotiations as well as the war.

Upon returning to Europe, Zelensky was able to once again bask in the usual adulation. He received warm messages of support from Europe and a private meeting with Britain’s King Charles III as requested. Left-wing social media was also flooded with praise for Zelensky.

But no serious person believes that Western European countries will provide the assistance that only the US can give Ukraine. If Ukrainians are so committed to a war until “victory” over Russia that Murphy and other Democrats still believe is possible, they are welcome to keep fighting, but it isn’t in much doubt that the outcome of such a gambit will be disastrous for the Ukrainian people.

Zelensky is clearly too drunk on his own self-importance and heroic image to listen to reason and let Trump end the war. If Trump succeeds, the big loser would be Zelensky, since that will force him to face his country’s voters. He might then also be asked to account for the American arms and money that have been fed into the furnace of a disastrous war that has taken the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and been in a stalemate since the initial Russian attack was foiled.

Democrats may think the White House spat will help them damage Trump. But the only person they have hurt with their recycling of their smears about Russia is Zelensky. And he is too full of himself and too committed to the myths about Ukrainian victory and Putin overrunning Europe like the Soviets of old to realize it.

US threatens retaliation over planned Polish digital tax

The US has warned Poland it will retaliate if Warsaw brings in a planned digital tax on Big Tech firms, calling the idea “not very smart”.

Newly appointed US ambassador to Poland Tom Rose said on March 10 that any attempt to impose additional costs on US corporations would automatically lead to a response from the Trump government. He urged Poland to think again.

“It’s not very smart! A self-destructive tax that will only harm Poland and its relationship with the United States. President Trump will retaliate, as he should. Repeal the tax to avoid the consequences!” Rose wrote on platform X.

Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and digitalisation minister Krzysztof Gawkowski on March 10 announced the intention to introduce a digital tax on Big Tech companies during an interview with the Polish Press Agency (PAP).

Germany’s Greens vow to block Friedrich Merz’s flagship spending package

The German Greens have vowed to block the flagship spending package of election winner Friedrich Merz, turning up the heat on the next chancellor as he races to secure support for his plan to rescue Europe’s largest economy and invest in its security.

Senior party officials on Monday said they would reject Merz’s plan to create a €500bn infrastructure fund and change the country’s limits on debt to allow unlimited borrowing to fund defence.

Their stance risks depriving Merz, leader of the Christian Democrats (CDU), of the two-thirds super majority he needs in the German parliament next Tuesday, 18 March, when MPs will be asked to approve the changes.

Franziska Brantner, Green co-leader, whose party is still smarting from last month’s bruising election campaign and its disappointing result, accused Merz and the SPD of seeking to “abuse” the security situation in Europe to secure the Greens’ support.

Even if Merz wins over the Greens, the second chamber that represents Germany’s 16 states must also approve the constitutional changes by a two-thirds majority.

The inaugural session of the newly elected parliament is set for 25 March. CDU and SPD lack two-thirds majority and thus rely on support from other parties, ideally the Greens.

Possible stumbling blocks are getting bigger.

Elon Musk says X was knocked offline by ‘massive cyberattack’ from Ukraine

Elon Musk claimed Monday that X went dark as the result of a “massive cyberattack” that originated in the “Ukraine area.”

“We’re not sure exactly what happened,” Musk told Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow about the apparent operation targeting his social media platform. “But there was a massive cyberattack to try to bring down the X system, with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area,” he added.

Cybercriminals have been known to create false IP addresses to impersonate computer systems from different parts of the world, a practice known as “spoofing.”

Thousands of social media users reported outages on X throughout the day on Monday.

Reports started pouring in at 6 a.m., according to DownDetector.com, with more than 40,000 users claiming issues with the platform by 10 a.m.

Another 25,000 users had encountered problems on the X app as of Monday afternoon, according to the crash-tracking site.

If Fluoride is so good for us, why does the packaging look like this?

It’s called sodium fluoride, and government agencies, along with nearly every dentist in the country, swears up and down we need it in our water supply so we can have strong teeth that don’t get cavities. You’ll find it in more than 75 percent of American municipal tap water, and it’s in almost every corporate-made toothpaste available, including for kids.

Fluoride is toxic. It’s an industrial byproduct of the phosphate mining industry in China. They export it to get rid of it, instead of polluting their country even more than it already is now. They package it up and label it toxic, because it causes cancer and dementia if you eat it or drink it.

No, fluoride does not prevent cavities. There is literally ZERO science backing up that claim, but the American Medical Association needed some great excuse the American people would buy into for having their drinking water laced with it, and their toothpaste and mouthwash loaded with it. It lowers your IQ so you don’t go figuring this out. It calcifies your pineal gland and makes your bones brittle. Many elderly people get shorter, need back, knee and hip surgeries regularly, and get cancer because of fluoride.

"Shred and burn all documents": USAID staff ordered to destroy evidence on Tuesday

A senior USAID official on Tuesday ordered the agency's remaining staff to report to their now-former headquarters in Washington DC for an "all day" group effort to destroy documents, many of which contain sensitive information.

The materials marked for destruction include "classified safes and personnel documents" at the Ronald Reagan Building, according to an email sent by USAID's acting executive director, Erica Carr.

"Shred as many documents first, and reserve the burn bags for when the shredder becomes unavailable or needs a break," read the email instructing staff to label the burn bags with "SECRET" and "USAID/B/IO" (which stands for "bureau or independent office") in dark sharpie.

According to the report, the email did not provide any reasoning for the document destruction, however the building is currently being emptied out after mass layoffs, which may have disrupted the routine destruction of materials.

US tested technology to warn when China tracks US satellites

The United States’ Space Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) director, Kelly Hammett, has revealed that in January 2023, America quietly launched a payload designed to detect Chinese satellite tracking in space.

Hammet, addressing a media roundtable at the Air & Space Forces Association Warfare Symposium in Aurora, Colorado, on March 5, said the technology alerts its operators when detected and will thus be deployed on all Space Force satellites.

Explaining that the current prototype can tell if it is being “observed, tracked or targeted,” Hammett said that since the space vehicles were launched, his division received “very interesting data.”

As a nod to the communist state’s 970-strong satellite inventory, Hammett suspects that the data relayed to his team since the prototype launch likely came from a Chinese SISO, which refers to a sensor and radar network used for space object surveillance and identification.

According to analysis, more than 490 of these satellites are ISR-capable (intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) and equipped with optical, multispectral, radar, and radio frequency sensors.

State Department looks to close consulates, trim global workforce

The State Department is reportedly looking to reduce its global workforce and close some of its consulates, in the federal government's latest efforts to trim its staff.

It is not clear how many embassies and consulates the department is looking to close, but one memo proposes closing a dozen consulates, primarily in Western Europe.
The department is also expected to trim its workforce by firing many local citizens who work for its missions.

Those closures include consulates in Florence, Italy; Strasbourg, France; Hamburg, Germany; and Ponta Delgada, Portugal.

The efforts are part of a larger plan to reduce the department's operating budget by up to 20%, two U.S. officials said.

Elon Musk protesters want to 'Buy' a Tesla. Here's why

Protesters targeting Tesla over their opposition to Elon Musk have a new strategy: faking interest in buying a Tesla to waste the company's time and resources.

Members of the 50501 movement, which aims to organize protests in all 50 states, have proposed that wasting the time of Tesla dealerships could be a safer alternative to illegal vandalism.

In a post on the 50501 subreddit, which received almost 3,000 upvotes, one protester proposed that activists "keep Tesla on the ropes" by dragging out the process of buying a car as long as possible before cancelling.

"Hear me out, I think this is a creative way to help protest," the poster said. "If you have spare time, call or go to your Tesla dealership and show interest in buying a Tesla vehicle.

"Don't be sure about what you want, have them give you all the details, model options etc. and just waste as much time as possible. Give them fake information like social security and your name, and pretend to be bafflingly confused when it comes up blank."

Dutch reject EC’s debt-driven €800bn rearmament plan

Dutch MPs have voted against the new European Union defence plan, ReArm Europe, because it was based on shared debt among EU countries, raising Dutch concerns about sovereignty and fiscal responsibility.

A slim majority of 73 against 71, including three of the four Dutch coalition parties, opposed European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s proposed €800 billion plan, just a week after the Dutch Government endorsed it in Brussels, despite being aware of internal discontent.

Introduced by the Dutch right-wing JA21 party, the motion against the defence plan received support from the Party for Freedom, the Farmer-Citizen Movement and the New Social Contract party.

Frans Timmermans, leader of the GreenLeft–Labour alliance, said three of the four coalition parties threw Prime Minister Dick Schoof under the bus, calling the cabinet “rudderless”.

Laurens Dassen, of the Dutch chapter of the Volt political movement that operates on a European level, said that in opposing the Rearm Europe plans, the Netherlands now put themselves in line with Hungary.

Left-Liberal D66 party leader Rob Jetten said Schoof would be “left in his underwear” after he had already pledged Dutch support, despite objections within his coalition.

French publisher halts book criticising ‘woke ideology’ amid political backlash

A prestigious French academic publisher, Presses Universitaires de France (PUF), has halted the release of a book criticising “woke ideology” in Western higher education, citing an increasingly hostile political climate.

“We believe that the necessary conditions for a calm and reasoned reception of this collective work are no longer in place,” PUF stated in announcing the suspension on March 10.

The book, titled Face à l’obscurantisme woke (In the Face of Woke Obscurantism), argued that wokism, originating in university humanities departments, was a “militant pseudo-science” that suppressed dissent through intimidation and fosters a “moral panic”.

It further said wokism “fuels communitarianism and fractures the nation [France] into a kaleidoscope of competing identities”.

Backlash from journalists and academics intensified ahead of the book’s planned release and PUF then opted to suspend its publication.

ICC takes custody of former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte in crimes against humanity case

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was turned over Wednesday to the custody of the International Criminal Court, following his arrest on a warrant accusing him of crimes against humanity over deadly anti-drugs crackdowns he oversaw while in office.

The 79-year-old former president arrived at Rotterdam The Hague Airport in the Netherlands earlier Wednesday on a flight from Manila, following his arrest there on an ICC request on Tuesday.

Rights groups and families of victims hailed Duterte’s arrest, and the court’s chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, called it “a crucial step in our continuous work to ensure accountability for the victims of the most serious crimes under ICC jurisdiction.”

Supporters of Duterte criticized the administration of current Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Duterte’s political rival, for arresting and surrendering the former leader to a court whose jurisdiction his supporters dispute.

The Dutch-based court said in a statement that medical assistance was made available ”as a precautionary measure” at the airport for Duterte, in line with standard procedures when a suspect arrives. The court did not comment on his state of health.

Trump reconsiders Canada tariffs after Ontario folds, suspends electricity surcharge

Donald Trump on Tuesday backed down from a threat to impose an additional 25% in tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum products — on top of a 25% tariff that was set to go into effect on Wednesday.

The reversal came after an agreement announced by Ontario Premier Doug Ford and U.S Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to suspend a planned 25% surcharge on electricity from Ontario sent to U.S. customers that Ford had warned he would impose.

Ford issued a joint statement with Lutnick on X announcing the suspension of the 25% electricity surcharge.

The withdrawal of the surcharge came alongside an agreement to hold a meeting at the White House on Thursday to discuss a renewal of the trade agreement between the U.S. and Canada, the statement said.

Earlier Ford threatened Trump’s side during an interview with CNBC, claiming: “I want to send more electricity” to the US, but cutting off power exports remains “a tool in our toolkit.”

Trump rebukes former Australian PM for claiming CCP leader more ‘respectful’

U.S. President Donald Trump has launched a stinging rebuke of former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull after comments on Bloomberg saying the CCP leadership was more “respectful” than Trump.

In a post to Truth Social, Trump accused Turnbull of failing to grasp China and lacking the ability to lead, saying that the average Australian shared his view.

“I always thought he was a weak and ineffective leader and, obviously, Australian’s agreed with me,” he said, hinting at the fact Turnbull is no longer in power.

During the interview with Bloomberg, Turnbull said “who knows” if Trump’s second term would be less chaotic than his first.

Turnbull agreed Trump had a mandate, but said he did not think Americans would be happy if inflation starts to go up or if they go into recession.

InfoWars' Jamie White viciously murdered as Alex Jones points finger at DA for 'enabling crime'

Jamie White, a 31-year-old journalist for Alex Jones' conspiracy theory outlet InfoWars, was found dead outside his apartment in south Austin late Sunday night.

Tragedy struck InfoWars, the conspiracy theory news site started by Alex Jones, when reporter Jamie White was brutally slain outside his apartment in south Austin on Sunday night. White was found with severe injuries close to his Douglas Street home just as the clock neared midnight, and Jones has squarely placed the blame for this homicide on Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza.

Responding to emergency calls, Austin Police Department officers arrived at the scene to find a man with "obvious signs of trauma."
Jones minced no words blaming the district attorney, charging: "I lay all of this squarely at the feet of Soros and of the sort of crime syndicate of the Democratic Party. They are the ones that administratively cut the police, prosecute the police, and even cases that are hundred percent clear to be lawful, legal activities.

MSNBC ghouls are killing their network

According to Adweek, “Looking at its year-to-year performance, MSNBC was down -16% in total viewers and -9% in the demo during primetime. During the total day, it was down -25% in total viewers and -21% in the demo relative to 2024.”

This is not surprising given how they put all the eggs in the anti-Trump basket. They were lapdogs on everything from the great Russian collusion hoax to the one-sided Liz Cheney J6 show trial. And are they still lighting candles to the sainted Volodymyr Zelensky as a military savior? Fine, you are a press release machine for the Left. That is your niche.

But Nicolle Wallace, while talking to Rachel Maddow, crossed so far into the ghoul zone during President Trump’s address to Congress that she may never get out.

She is challenging her audience to suppress their human emotions. She is reminding them to be clear-sighted and remember that their human compassion might mislead them into thinking even one good thought about the pure evil that is Donald Trump. These emotions need to be nipped in the bud in order to prevail politically.

In the media, we get the cold-hearted public figures we deserve. With leadership like this, the staff at MSNBC might want to review their resumes and be prepared to abandon a sinking ship. The only good news for them is that CNN has even worse ratings. Who will sink first?
