It could, but doing so would be costly for Telegram and might even be illegal. So I don't think Telegram would do that. This has both good and bad aspects. As far as I know, Telegram uses data compression to host data. However, the mechanism it uses with content is unclear. Nevertheless, there has never been any evidence against it regarding the use of such data.

As much as I know Deleting message from both side are permanently delete from Telegram's server too.

But if a message is reported, it will stay in telegram's server until report team review that reported message.

I have been experiencing a very frustrating issue for about a year now. Every few hours, my chats seem to reset and disappear, especially when I haven't used Telegram for several hours.

When this happens, notifications stop working properly and my recent chats completely vanish from the chat list. The chats are not deleted, but they disappear until Telegram refreshes again.

This issue only occurs on Android. I do not experience it on other platforms.

I have already tried clearing the database, clearing cache, and several other troubleshooting steps, but nothing has fixed the problem.

Please, I kindly ask you to investigate this issue. I am a Telegram Premium subscriber and have been paying for Premium for about three years. I believe I should not be facing such a basic and persistent problem, especially for such a long time.
