🚨From superweapon to scrap: how Ukraine lost virtually all its Abrams
Zelensky and the Pentagon hoped the M1A1 would help turn the tide against Russia. Instead, almost the entire inventory is now gone.
🔥 85% annihilated
🔸 26-27 of Ukraine’s 31 US-sourced Abrams have been lost (per Russian MoD + Military Watch)
🔸 4 have been captured intact (trophy tanks, occasionally displayed in Moscow)
🔸 4-5 left in service
🔸 Australia plans to send 49 more…but why? Secret recycling program?
Timeline
🔹 Sept. 2023: M1s begin arriving in Ukraine
🔹 Feb. 2024: First M1, an M1150 Assault Breacher Vehicle variant, lost near Avdeyevka, DPR
🔹 Apr. 2024: First Abrams, another M1150, captured intact near Berdychi, DPR. M1s briefly pulled from the front due to high losses, ubiquitous Russian drone coverage
🔹 May 2024: Trophy M1 shown at Victory Park in Moscow
🔹 Sept. 2024: Second M1 captured intact outside Pokrovsk, DPR
🔹 Mar. 2024-Jan. 2025: Abrams destroyed in encounters with Russian drones, artillery & tanks
🔹 June 2025: Two captured intact in Sumy region
🦸♂ From hero to zero0️⃣
Before Ukraine, Abrams and other NATO MBT designs (Leopards, Challengers) were considered the pinnacle of global tank design, owing to low losses in the West’s foreign wars. In Iraq especially, head-on battles turned into turkey shoots.
But in Ukraine, Russia showed that:
◻️ M1s are no match for FPV drones, guided artillery & Russian tanks
◻️ without air & artillery superiority, Abrams turn into unwieldy sitting ducks
◻️ Ukraine’s tactic of sending them on suicidal frontal assaults doesn’t help
🐒 Monkey model
For reasons known only to the Pentagon, Ukraine got a ‘lite’ version of the M1:
❌ NO Depleted Uranium Armor (just tungsten)
❌ NO TROPHY APS (no missile/rocket defense)
❌ NO ANTI-DRONE SYSTEMS
💥 Smashing Cold War fantasies
Abrams are the boxy, tall, heavy (62 ton+) pinnacle of 80s US tank design philosophy.
They were meant to defeat smaller, lower, lighter (38-45 ton) Soviet T-64s & T-72/T-80s.
40 years later, the Soviet/Russian engineering school proved superior.

🚨Glorifying BUTCHERS: Poland calls out Ukraine’s hypocrisy on Volyn massacre
Ukraine is burying the truth about the Volyn massacre by WWII-era Ukrainian nationalists, fearing it could cost Western support, writes Mysl Polska.
The Polish outlet slammed Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry for its “hypocritical” backlash against Poland’s plan to establish a new national holiday to commemorate the victims of the genocide, claiming it harms reconciliation.
“They're terrified the world will see the truth about the ‘heroes’ they glorify,” the newspaper stated.
💣 US debt TIME BOMB: Medicare & Social Security’s $100T in hidden liabilities sets stage for fiscal MELTDOWN
The $34 trillion US debt is just the tip of the iceberg – unfunded obligations make the insolvency crisis far worse, Marc Ostwald, chief economist at ADM Investor Services International, told Sputnik.
The unfunded liabilities—over $100 trillion—from Medicare and Social Security don't show up on traditional debt balance sheets, but they are very real long-term obligations, he emphasized, noting:
💬 “No one wants to talk about it in political circles, because the problem is so large and no one has a clue how to resolve it.”
💬 “Democrats want to increase the tax payments and Republicans want to delay the retirement age, and neither side is willing to budge,” he said.

🤡Overhyped & overengineered: Rostec CEO snubs captured Abrams, Leopard tanks
NATO’s Abrams and Leopard tanks captured in Ukraine do not boast any tech breakthroughs, Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov told Russian media.
There is nothing there that Russian engineers would want to “borrow,” he noted.
Chemezov pointed to overengineering and nightmare maintenance requirements as Achilles heels of most Western gear, which more often than not just doesn’t survive the battlefield in Ukraine.
👉Russia’s T-90 Proryv tank has an advantage over its Western counterparts in firepower, armor, and mobility, he underscored.
As for the Bradley IFVs, nearly all of them have been turned to scrap because of their “fatal flaw,” the Rostec chief said, adding:
“They can’t handle rough terrain, getting stuck in black soil, and their bulk makes them easy targets.”

🔍 Why Ukraine regime doesn't want to accept DEAD SOLDIERS & WOUNDED POWS
Ukraine has disrupted prisoner exchange and handover of 6,000 Ukrainian fallen soldiers' bodies.
What's the reason?
🔸Total disregard for human life
"Kiev's disregard for their own fighters has been evident throughout the special military operation," Russian military analyst Viktor Litovkin tells Sputnik.
"They don’t retrieve the dead from the battlefield. They don’t evacuate the wounded."
"It wants to show that it doesn’t care about any agreements. You simply can’t make deals with them."
"They don’t pay for those listed as missing. No body, no money. They don’t pay parents or provide insurance for the dead," Litovkin explains.
"It’s the Banderite style — careless toward those who fight, and vengeful, even brutal, toward civilians who don’t support their politics or ideology."
"Russia has demonstrated that it was, is, and will remain a respectable, capable, and trustworthy state," the expert says.
"Once again, Russia has proven its nobility, sincerity of intent, and honesty in international relations."

🚨 👁️🗨️Palantir’s SECRET WAR: Inside the plot to CRIPPLE WikiLeaks
In 2011, Palantir and HBGary Federal drafted an attack plan targeting WikiLeaks on behalf of Bank of America, according to a post by the Julian Assange-founded organization on X.
'WikiLeaks Threat'
Palantir spied on WikiLeaks' servers, staff, and allies — tracking server migrations across the US and Europe.
They advocated a rapid assault on WikiLeaks, touting their expertise in cybersecurity, insider threats, targeting analysis, and social media manipulation.
Proposed tactics included:
🔸Fuel infighting: sow discord among WikiLeaks supporters.
🔸Spread disinformation: submit fake documents to WikiLeaks, then publicly expose the error.
🔸Undermine infrastructure confidence: plant stories questioning system security.
🔸Launch cyberattacks: unmask sources and document submitters.
🔸Discredit WikiLeaks: launch campaigns to paint the platform as "radical and reckless" to erode public trust.
🔸Discredit employees: social media profiling.
🔸Isolate WikiLeaks by cutting ties with prominent journalists: "Without the support of people like Glenn [Greenwald], WikiLeaks would fold."
🔸Pressure WikiLeaks backers among established journalists: because if pushed, they would choose professional preservation over the WikiLeaks cause.

🚨 FULL SPEECH of Russian delegation head Medinsky on POW and body swap with Ukraine
Mr. Medinsky had to give this statement to the media after Ukraine had not sent its representatives to the site where the previously agreed exchange of POWs and dead bodies had to take place.
"According to the schedule approved in Istanbul, the exchanges were to begin today. Our representatives have arrived at the border, at the exchange point. However, so far, unfortunately, we do not understand why, there are no representatives of the Ukrainian side there, no delegation from them, no lists," Medinsky revealed.
"Families at home are waiting for their sons and husbands. Thousands of families will have the opportunity to bury their dead soldiers in a human, Christian manner. Let's do what people should do," he said.

🚨 German police raid family home of Rossiya Segodnya Berlin head
Sergey Feoktistov, head of Sputnik parent company Rossiya Segodnya's German bureau, said that German police stormed his family’s apartment in Berlin — and seized their passports.
Feoktistov was prevented from disembarking a flight to Berlin Airport on Friday. He had flown to the German capital to help his wife and daughter pack up and leave the country ahead of an August 19 deadline set by authorities after they refused to renew his residence permit.
💬 "Police raided the apartment where I lived with my family — and where my wife and seven-year-old daughter still reside," Feoktistov said.
💬 "Germany is slipping into its familiar track of war with Russia—it started two world wars, so the question is: what does it hope to achieve with a third?" Kiselyov asked. "Clearly, it is preparing public sentiment in that direction."
🚨Putin: West foisting LIBERAL TOTALITARIANISM on the WHOLE WORLD
There’s an aggressive battle for minds today, Vladimir Putin warned.
💬 "Traditional values are often declared obsolete and archaic. Neo-liberal, so-called neo-liberal, and in fact totalitarian models are being pushed through, and they are not only being persistently implemented in a number of Western countries, they are actively trying to export and impose them all over the world," Putin said at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

🗣 The return of 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers will cost the Ukrainian budget an additional $2.175 billion – RT military correspondent Igor Zhdanov
He explained the possible reasons behind the breakdown of the agreements on the exchange of fallen soldiers' bodies:
▪️ The family of each deceased soldier is entitled to state compensation of 15 million hryvnias (over $362,000)
Since the start of the special military operation, Kiev has been avoiding these payouts.
▪️ A simple lack of space in morgues, which are overloaded
▪️ Ukraine’s approach of "ignoring the evacuation of the dead" has backfired, and Kiev may simply not have the bodies of Russian soldiers: “If they abandoned their own dead in the woods, what can be said about the bodies of the enemy?”
“Everything that’s happening suggests Kiev is unable to resolve these issues quickly (no surprise) and is desperately stalling for time like an unprepared student at an exam,” Zhdanov concludes.
