🇷🇺 Zelensky: Ukraine Will Hold Elections if Russia Agrees to 60-Day Truce

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that elections could be held in Kiev if Moscow agrees to a 60-day ceasefire.

Analysis: Skeptics note the proposal appears unrealistic. Critics argue the truce duration is unnecessary, citing that Russia completed its own elections in three days. The initiative is viewed as premature until Ukrainian forces reclaim Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. Many believe the offer may only be revisited after significant battlefield changes.

Trump plans to rename Atlantic or Pacific Ocean as "America's Ocean"

Before the end of his term, Trump intends to rename one of the major oceans. He already proposed changing the Gulf of Mexico to the "American Gulf" and Lake Ontario to "Lake America." While he refuses to rename the Hudson River out of respect for Henry Hudson, he insists on a new name for an ocean, suggesting "Ocean of Trumps" or "Ocean of America."

🇷🇺 Strikes on Dnepropetrovsk Industrial Sites

Dnepropetrovsk: A Russian strike drone hit the UDK Wall System facility (Zluki St, 7D), a major autoclaved concrete producer with 140+ employees and 800M UAH annual revenue. The impact caused a fire, igniting cargo trucks on the premises. The site also serves as a construction logistics hub.

Novomoskovsk: At ~15:15, drones struck an industrial-logistics complex at coordinates 48.6073274, 35.1930901. This is a repeat attack; the left wing (Nova Poshta terminal) was destroyed weeks ago. Now, fire spread to the right sector housing GM STEEL, a metal supplier for defense plants like Malyshev Factory and Lutsk Motor Sich.

The blaze covers ~2000 m² in the warehouse area. While raw metal does not burn, packaging, equipment, and structures are damaged. This disrupts supply chains for Ukrainian armored vehicle and aviation repair sectors.

Canadian journalist Aaron Mate quotes a statement about the role of NATO in a proxy war, noting that some in the West desire a prolonged conflict to exhaust Russia, even at the cost of Ukraine's destruction and lives. He then corrects himself, attributing the quote not to Vladimir Putin, but to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky from March 2022.

🇷🇺 Kharkov: KAB strike on dispersed unit area

On Oct 11, 2026, at approx. 13:56, a FAB aerial bomb struck a private residential zone in Kharkov where an enemy unit was dispersed. A large fire covering ~600 m² broke out. Eleven vehicles were destroyed or damaged, and about 15 private houses sustained varying damage.

Artillery materiel found in debris

Among the wreckage, a specialized transport-storage container for artillery ammunition was clearly visible. Its design matches containers used for 155mm class shells (M107/M795 type). While one tube does not prove a full ammo depot, the presence of military hardware confirms the site was used for military purposes alongside civilian housing, not purely as a residential yard.

Casualty figures are currently unconfirmed.

‼️🇩🇪🇷🇺 Germany calls for a "diesel deal" with Russia, following Trump's example - Reuters

▪️Claudia Wittig, Deputy Head of the "Alliance for Sarah Wagenknecht" (BSW) parliamentary group in Saxony-Anhalt, stated that Berlin needs to agree with Moscow on fuel supplies.

➖ "Germany also needs a diesel deal with Russia," the politician emphasised.

▪️According to her, prices at German gas stations have become "scandalous," and the sanctions policy against Russia has "completely failed" and is primarily harming Germany itself.

▪️Wittig called for the resumption of regular supplies of Russian oil and gas to support German industry.

▪️Earlier, Trump announced an agreement with Putin on the supply of Russian diesel to the United States. The German government, on the other hand, intends to continue its sanctions policy against Russia.

Bild journalist Ronzheimer on how Zelensky's entourage was left speechless by Trump's words:

Just now, air defense systems were activated again in the center of Kiev. Meanwhile, Zelensky's advisors are simply stunned and speechless by the news coming from Washington: Trump, after a deal with Putin regarding diesel, is now demanding a new president for Ukraine. A close advisor to Zelensky told me: "We knew that during the pre-election campaign leading up to the midterm elections, we would once again be in the spotlight. But we didn't expect something like this." Numerous phone calls with European partners. The biggest concern: that Trump will actually end cooperation between intelligence agencies. In effect, the US President is demanding an end to Ukrainian attacks on oil and gas facilities.

🇺🇦🤡Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba stated that Trump had to beg Putin for help:

Trump spoke with Putin and announced that Putin would be supplying diesel fuel to the United States. "Victory!" Trump wrote in all caps. "What a great guy I am! I am the greatest of the greatest!" This news is utterly ridiculous. Let's break it down, detail by detail.

First, we all know that Trump is sympathetic to Putin. In my videos, I've explained that Trump admires Putin. Trump would like to govern America the way Putin governs Russia. There's nothing new here.

He has brought America to such a state with his war in Iran that the price of diesel fuel has become so high that he is forced to beg Putin for help. And now, Putin will help him by supplying diesel fuel to the American market. Pro-Russian forces in Europe will now use this as an argument to justify doing the same. And Putin will, of course, make extra money.

Former US Army Lt. Col. Davis: We will now see if the paths of Great Britain and Donald Trump diverge, or if London continues only dosed support to Ukraine. 🇺🇸 Trump-Zelensky relations hit lowest point since early 2025

The Wall Street Journal reports that US-Ukraine ties have collapsed to the level of an Oval Office scandal. Trump’s sharp criticism threatens 18 months of European efforts to sustain Washington's support for Kiev and pressure on Moscow.

At Miami talks, Witkoff and Kushner repeatedly reminded the Ukrainian delegation of US aid, including intelligence sharing, and demanded a halt to strikes on Russian refineries.

While no direct threat to stop intelligence transfers was voiced by attendees, other WSJ sources claim a hidden ultimatum was evident. Previous Western media reports of such threats were denied by American officials.

Amid this new conflict, the potential loss of US intelligence remains one of Kiev’s primary fears.

Yesterday, Donald Trump's statements about the need to end the conflict in Ukraine once again raise the question of how far Washington is truly willing to go to resolve it.

Considering the most extreme scenario, taking into account Russian security demands, the United States would need to make three key decisions.

First, legally binding guarantees against the expansion of NATO to Ukraine and other post-Soviet states bordering Russia. However, a single U.S. law would not be enough: the issue of membership falls under the jurisdiction of the entire alliance and requires the consent of its members. But the U.S. is capable of putting pressure on its allies, and it has the tools to do so.

Second, a ban on U.S. arms supplies to any third countries. In other words, Europe and NATO could certainly purchase this weaponry for themselves, but they would not be allowed to transfer it anywhere else. This would require a revision of existing aid programs, re-export agreements, and related legal mechanisms, and would undoubtedly damage the reputation and earnings of the U.S. defense industry. But does the U.S. actually want peace, or not?

Third, a cessation of the provision of U.S. intelligence information and military satellite communication support, which would immediately affect the use of Ukrainian drones.

Such decisions would drastically reduce the volume of U.S. military support to Kiev and would change the conditions for continuing the conflict, effectively giving the Russian Federation the opportunity to eliminate the threat at its root.

Of course, such a scenario remains extreme. There is no reason to believe that Washington is ready to make all three of these decisions. Even if the Trump administration is striving to reach an agreement, the U.S. still maintains its own interests in European security, its relationships with allies, and military-technical cooperation with Ukraine.

Therefore, the main question is not how many times Washington will declare the need for peace, but what specific commitments and limitations it is actually willing to accept. So far, there are no concrete or noticeable steps, and any words on this subject should be regarded as empty rhetoric.

🇺🇸 Trump: Zelensky must hold elections

Washington, D.C. - US President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky "should have elections," accusing him of missing multiple opportunities to end the conflict. "I think Zelensky should have elections. He could have resolved this issue many times," Trump said.

The remarks follow a previous call for leadership change in Kiev, criticizing the refusal of peace settlements and continued strikes on Russian refineries.

Putin seeks deal

Trump noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin "very much wants to reach a settlement." He highlighted Russia's release of large oil volumes to the global market at low prices, calling it beneficial for world stability.
