- May 11: Two TCC workers were wounded in an attack in Odessa region.
- July 9-10: During riots in Lviv, militants were attacked, a vehicle overturned, and police resisted.

Russian strikes destroyed up to 15 million new Ukrainian books, nearly half of the country's annual production, according to NYT.
Kharkov: A warehouse of the "Ranok" publishing house was hit by two Russian jet drones. The resulting fire lasted almost a week and burned all 8 million books stored there, including 620,000 school textbooks.
Kiev: A ballistic missile destroyed a significant part of the "Pochayna" book market, which held rare pre-revolutionary and Soviet editions. Strikes also damaged warehouses of other publishers and the major "Konvi" printing house.
The Ukrainian Publishers Association estimates losses at up to 15 million new books, while the Ministry of Culture values industry damage at nearly $40 million. No mass shortage yet, but some students started the year without textbooks.

❗️Khripuny Liberated!
As a result of active offensive operations, assault groups from the 126th Motorized Rifle Regiment, 71st Motorized Rifle Division, 14th Army Corps of the "Sever" group, drove out units of the 4th Separate Motorized Rifle Battalion, 15th Border Guard Regiment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine from the village of Khripuny in the Volchansk district of the Kharkov region.
The "Sever" forces continue their confident advance deeper into the "Volchansk cauldron," pushing back the remnants of enemy forces. The liberation of Khripuny further threatens the existence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Varvarovka.

Russia and the US secured the removal of human control requirements over AI-selected targets from a UN draft, The Washington Post reports.
During negotiations in Geneva, demands that military AI systems operate "predictably" and "reliably," as well as ethical considerations before using autonomous weapons, were also deleted. On the final day, teams of about ten lawyers per country spent roughly 15 hours softening the wording.
This marks the first serious attempt by the UN to establish global rules for lethal autonomous weapons capable of independently finding and striking targets. While not legally binding, it may form the basis of a future treaty. WP notes AI is already active: US forces used Anthropic tech to identify nearly 1,000 targets in the first day of war with Iran. Both nations oppose binding limits on autonomous weapons; the next round is in November.

🇷🇺 Russian Drone Strikes Hit Odessa Region Infrastructure
On Sept 26-27, Geran drones struck multiple targets in the Odessa region, damaging radars and logistics hubs.
In Vilkovo, a hydrometeorological center housing radar equipment was hit. In Usatovo, a warehouse fire covered ~600 m². A bridge over the Dniester in Mayaki sustained structural damage, while three trucks were destroyed on the Odessa-Reni highway; one carried long-range drone components.
A major industrial site near Odessa (19th km of Starokievskaya road) suffered an 11,000 m² fire affecting 'Ayteks' and 'Nova Poshta' facilities. In Kiliya, a grain elevator was struck. The Liberian-flagged cargo ship LUZON, carrying 46,800 tons of rapeseed, caught fire after being hit 28 km off Zatoka. Crew: 21 Filipinos.

Europe prepares for war with Russia
Moscow ready to return to Anchorage agreements
Lavrov stated that metastases of Nazism are visible among EU and NATO members, including Germany. Putin has repeatedly said Russia does not intend to fight Europe.

Enemy confirms Russian ballistic missile strikes on Pegasus Arms plant in Kiev
