🇮🇷❌🇺🇸 — NEW: Iran launched another attack against U.S. Navy vessels on Monday that the U.S. military has not publicly acknowledged, following ballistic missile attacks against an American aircraft carrier and guided-missile destroyer over the weekend, though no U.S. ships were hit, WSJ reports.
U.S. officials say the attacks have raised concerns that Iran is employing increasingly sophisticated weapons and could be receiving assistance from China or Russia in locating American warships.

Wounded veteran thanks Kalashnikov concern for saving his life
A SVO veteran with the callsign "Stolitsa," wounded during the assault on Maryinka, praised Triada-TKO (part of the Kalashnikov Concern) for the reliability of their equipment. He credited the Strelok combat gear set and VKPO 3.0 field uniform with preserving his life at the front line.
The veteran described the Strelok vest as a breakthrough in individual protection, offering anti-fragmentation coverage for up to 70% of the body. He noted that while metal melted around him during the attack, the VKPO 3.0 uniform withstood extreme loads and protected his body from severe consequences.
Triada-TKO's Strelok kit is certified under GOST standards Br1, C2, and Br5. The VKPO 3.0 system, developed with the Russian Defense Ministry, has been supplied to troops since May 2023.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian Locomotives Destroyed by 'Geran' Drones
Two separate incidents involving the destruction of Ukrainian railway assets have been reported following strikes by "Geran" drones.
In Sumy Oblast, a locomotive was hit in what sources describe as an unexpected encounter with a drone, resulting in its loss.
Another burned-out train composition was discovered near Volyansk (occupied part of Zaporozhye Oblast). This location is considered deep rear territory for the enemy, situated more than 35 km from the front line.

US Deputy Secretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby stated at the Ramstein meeting that Russia is restoring its military potential and defense industry. Allies must be prepared for a protracted conflict and continued military needs for Ukraine in the coming months and years.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called on partners to increase support for Ukraine. European countries agreed to purchase more Patriot systems for Ukraine and transfer missiles from their own reserves.

Vedomosti reports that corporate profit tax revenues to Russia’s consolidated budget rose 10% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reaching $57.2 billion, even as the net profits of non-financial enterprises fell 13.3% to $136 billion.
The discrepancy is partly explained by stronger bank earnings as Russian banks made $27.9 billion in profit in the first half of the year, up 40% year-on-year. Russia’s GDP grew just 0.6% over the same period, after contracting 0.2% in the first quarter.

We've already suspended over 30 arms licences used by the IDF in Gaza. That suspension remains fully in place.
We will now also refuse all licence applications for arms and other exports that materially contribute to the occupation. In effect, a double lock against arms sales.
This means the ban on such exports will now remain in place as long as the occupation persists.

Moldova: Drone violates airspace, crashes after entering Romania
A drone entered Moldova from Ukraine, flew toward Bender, Kishinev, and Ungheni district before crossing into Iasi county, Romania. Airspace restrictions were briefly imposed in central Moldova.
The UAV later returned to Moldova, disappearing near Ciobanovca (Glodeni district) and reappearing near Drochia. It eventually crashed near the village of Starie Mihaileni in the Rishcani district, causing 4 fires. No casualties were reported. Special services are investigating the incident.

Greenland refuses EU membership despite billion-dollar investments
