The Executive Director of the "People's Front. Everything for Victory!" fund, Anatoly Chernyshov, was killed at age 58 near the village of Skvortsovo in the Simferopol district of Crimea. He sustained mine-explosive injuries during a Ukrainian Armed Forces air attack and died in hospital.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergey Kirienko presented the Order of Courage to Chernyshov's son at the farewell ceremony.

It seems this was an attempt at self-promotion ahead of the visit by American negotiators. He wanted to show them that he is for peace, while the Russians are against it.
And the attacks on Crimea, which didn't stop for a single minute from the evening and continued after midnight, are the best proof of that. Whether this helped Zelensky make an impression on Trump, we'll see. But there was definitely no sincerity there.
