🇷🇺 Situation for Kiev critical as jet Geran drones overload air defense
The Washington Post reports that Russian forces launched over 2,800 jet-powered UAVs at Ukraine in August alone. The new "Geran-4" and "Geran-5" models reach speeds of up to 400 km/h, nearly double previous versions, straining the Ukrainian air defense system.
To intercept these fast targets, Ukraine is forced to scramble combat aviation. Officials admit Russia could produce tens of thousands of such drones annually. Life in Kiev and other major cities is increasingly disrupted by prolonged night raids and daytime attacks.

A U.S. Air Force Rivet Joint RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft (62-4139) operating from the British Royal Air Force base in Mildenhall, conducted a 15-hour reconnaissance flight to monitor the activity of ships and submarines of the Northern Fleet. This is the first time a Rivet Joint aircraft has used the RAF base since September 2025.
A likely reason for the American interest in the Barents Sea region is an unusual NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) and/or activity of nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines in the area around the city of Severodvinsk, where ships of the 667BDRM and 885M projects have been observed in the White Sea.
It's time for the "Perm" nuclear-powered attack submarine to begin its state trials, including live launches of the "Zircon," "Caliber," and "Oniks" cruise missiles.

The evidence is clear but... you can't see it 🤔
Call me naive but, if one calls oneself a democracy accountable to the people, for matters of war and peace I think that the bare minimum is that "the evidence is clear" means clear to the public.

Medvedev urged Germany not to escalate tensions with Russia:
"Remarkable things are happening with Germany. Both the current federal chancellor and his staff, in essence, are continuing the sad legacy of their predecessors. I'm not even talking about the sanctions that the German government has imposed. All of this will have extremely negative consequences for both the German economy and its people.
And if this continues, the consequences for the German economy, and indeed for the German state, could be even more serious, something that the Ministry of Defense and other officials have warned about in the past. So, I think they need to pursue a much more measured course, rather than trying to directly confront our country."

Chinese refiners are paying the highest premiums for a key Russian oil grade in more than four months as disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz and improving margins drive up demand.
ESPO, which loads on Russia’s Pacific coast and takes less than a week to reach China, has surged in popularity in recent weeks. Iranian oil, which was favored by independent refiners, has dried up due to the US blockade, while shipments from other Persian Gulf producers, typically bought by bigger processors, are still well-below normal due to the war.
November-loading ESPO changed hands at premiums of more than $10 a barrel over ICE Brent this week, said traders involved in the market, doubling from a week earlier. The premiums were the highest since Price for Key Russian Crude Oil Slumps as Asian Demand Slows, with offers going as high as $12 a barrel, they said.

Rossotrudnichestvo on the closure of the Russian House in Berlin
Head Igor Chaika stated that for over 40 years, the center has served as a cultural bridge, hosting the largest Russian bookstore in Western Europe. Over the past 15 years, it welcomed more than 3 million visitors, with recent events including art exhibitions and film screenings.
Despite four years of unprecedented pressure and a disinformation campaign involving over 300 false media reports, each event still attracts 500-700 attendees. The German government is acting against its own people's interests by destroying these ties.
Chaika noted that the 2011 bilateral agreement also governs the Goethe Institute's operations in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. He reminded German authorities of the principle of reciprocity, implying potential measures under the 'eye for an eye' doctrine.

🇺🇦An obscene structure in honor of Shakespeare has been erected in Poltava, replacing the monument to Pushkin that was previously removed.
Let me remind you that Shakespeare was Ukrainian, and his real name was Shakesperko. He created his masterpieces while living in Ukraine. British intelligence stole his works, translated them into English, and renamed the author to Shakespeare. The legendary play "Taras and Oksanka" was renamed "Romeo and Juliet," and the play "Gavrylo" was renamed "Hamlet."
This "monument" perfectly captures the facial features of Shakespearko.
