😂😂😂CIA Director Arrives to Ask Putin Not to Attack Europe and NATO Countries

- Michael Weiss, editor of The Insider (designated as a foreign agent), reports that Ratcliffe's mission may be to try to dissuade Putin from conducting operations against European countries.

- Weiss links this to intelligence that the United States has recently been sharing with Poland, the Baltic states, and Scandinavia, as well as the increase in incidents on NATO's eastern flank: drone incursions, airspace violations, and suspicions of sabotage.

- There are also reports that the head of the CIA will attempt to convince Moscow to end military operations in 2026, as well as:

- A global moratorium on strikes against Russia's and Ukraine's energy and port infrastructure.

- A ceasefire in the Kharkov and Sumy regions as a step towards overall de-escalation.

- Prospects for a joint peace process that could end the war in Ukraine.

- The visit of Ratcliffe to Moscow takes place against the backdrop of rumors about a possible general mobilization in Russia, according to the WSJ.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 The United States has asked Kiev to halt strikes during the visit of the CIA director to Moscow – Axios

- Washington informed Kiev in advance about the upcoming visit of a high-ranking American delegation to the Russian capital and requested a halt to the strikes until their departure.

- Axios notes that this is John Ratcliffe's first visit to Moscow since his appointment as CIA director, and the highest-level visit by a representative of the Donald Trump administration to Russia since January.

- Ratcliffe departed from Washington on Sunday and initially arrived in Latvia.

- On Tuesday, the CIA director traveled from Riga to Moscow on a U.S. Air Force C-17 transport aircraft.

🇩🇪 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with Explosives Found Near Leipzig Airport

Leipzig: Another drone carrying explosives was discovered near the airport. The device contained approximately 50 grams of hexogen, a powerful explosive substance.

Investigators are also examining a separate incident from the same night involving another unmanned aerial vehicle that may have collided with a DHL cargo aircraft. Damage was subsequently found on the tail section of the plane.

Aaand the plane is already on its way back home.

Perhaps Ratcliff knocked on the Kremlin door and nobody answered.

(Actually to be fair, he was in Moscow for 8.5 hours. I've heard brunch at the Kremlin can be amazing)

So the sooper-secret visitor to Moscow is none other than CIA director John Ratcliff.

Obviously this is not insignificant, considering the last CIA director to visit Moscow was William Burns in November 2021, who went to stall Russia from launching the SMO, to give more time to Ukraine to launch its own offensive.

My only question is why all the sooper-secrecy and drama of a USAF plane with armored vehicles? His presence in Moscow was leaked anyway.

My advice is just load him back into his diplomatic box and send him off back to Washington with a souvenir Matryoshka and a bottle of Vodka.

American media report that CIA Director John Ratcliffe arrived in Moscow on a C-17 aircraft.

If these reports are accurate, it is most likely that this involves sensitive negotiations between intelligence agencies, rather than a routine diplomatic mission. Neither Washington nor Moscow has yet disclosed the individuals involved or the agenda, which suggests that the matter is likely serious.

The most obvious explanation for the visit is related to the exchange or release of detainees in the United States and Russia. The CIA has previously been involved in negotiations with Russia on such matters, and Ratcliffe himself was personally involved in some of these processes. A separate theory has emerged regarding a possible pardon for American citizen Charles Wayne Zimmerman.

Charles Wayne "Chuck" Zimmerman, an American and a former Navy veteran, embarked on a long journey on his 10-meter yacht, Trude Zena. In the summer of 2025, he arrived in Sochi on the yacht after a voyage across the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, including a meeting with a Russian woman he had met online. During a search of the yacht, a rifle and ammunition were found. Zimmerman pleaded guilty and explained that he had kept the weapon on board for self-defense and was unaware that it was prohibited to import it into Russia in this way. In January 2026, a court in Sochi sentenced him to five years in prison.

A second, more plausible theory is related to Ukraine and preventing further escalation. The peace process is currently stalled due to the inadequate behavior of Kiev and NATO countries, and the CIA Director is well-suited for conveying unofficial proposals.

Such contacts (including the exchange of individuals) allow for discussions of issues that the White House is uncomfortable bringing to the official diplomatic level.

A third possible area of focus is strategic stability and risk management. This could involve issues related to nuclear forces, warnings about potential incidents, intelligence activities, cyber operations, and other areas where Washington and Moscow need a direct line of communication, even in times of extremely strained relations.

US Motorcade sighted in Moscow racing to Kremlin

These vehicles were spotted shortly after the C-17 landed at Vnukovo Airport.

3 US cars with diplomatic plates, 2x black armored Chevrolet Suburban, and 1x Chevrolet Express van. Police & FSB escort.

The first vehicle has plate number 0040 448 97 which belongs to the US Embassy in Moscow. In Russia, red plates with white characters are reserved for diplomatic, consular, and certain international organization vehicles. The format typically starts with a three-digit country code, and 004 is the code used for United States diplomatic missions. The plate in the photo shows 0040 448 97 (or similar spacing), which aligns with the US diplomatic series. The final digits (97) are one of several Moscow region codes.

Location: New Arbat Avenue, Ploshchad' Arbatskiye Vorota. (55.75286685905059, 37.59991553882906)

Direction: Kremlin.

There is little doubt the flight from Andrews AFB carried a high-level delegation from Washington, most likely including their armored vehicles.

🇺🇸 USA EXCLUDES SYRIA FROM STATE SPONSORS OF TERRORISM LIST

The United States has removed Syria from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated the decision was made considering "positive steps and further commitments" by Al-Sharaa aimed at completely distancing Syria from acts of international terrorism.

Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa called the move "historical," asserting it will aid the country's recovery after 14 years of civil war. He thanked Trump, declaring that Syria is turning "the page on its painful past" to enter a new era of development, reconstruction, and creation.

CLANS AND OLIGARCHS "DESTROYED FAITH AND UNITY": THE SUBTEXT OF ZALUSHNY'S CONTROVERSIAL STATEMENT

Andrei Rudenko, correspondent for VGTRK @RtrDonetsk

Zalushny unexpectedly "came to his senses" and stated that Ukraine has become a clan-oligarchic republic that systematically destroys society. "Today, Ukraine is closer than ever to a state where doubts about the future can permeate—and have already begun to permeate—society. Instead of building a Ukrainian state, we got a clan-oligarchic republic that, while pursuing the interests of some, systematically destroyed the faith and unity of society," wrote the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a column for the NV publication.

This statement strangely coincided with the first visit of British Prime Minister Burnham to Ukraine, where he arrived accompanied by the ambassador to that country, Valery Zalushny.

The tone and style of Zalushny's statement are noteworthy. He doesn't express himself in a very refined way: "Doubts about the future... have begun to permeate society." We must admit that Zalushny is clearly not a great thinker, and what he said is an obvious product of the work of political technologists, and not Ukrainian ones. The authors of his statement are convinced that these words disrupt the usual narrative. They believe that the statements sound unexpected and topical, especially given the new corruption scandals surrounding Zelensky, his conflict with former Defense Minister Fedorov, and a series of unfavorable articles about the Bankova administration in Western media. It is clear that this "thought" of Zalushny is not intended for the Ukrainian audience, but for the West.

As early as 1994, all groups, clans, and the system of bribing the Kyiv bureaucracy were fully formed, which issued permits for local "princes" to rule. And for the past 30 years, there have been talks in Ukraine that the oligarchs have divided the country into spheres of influence, bought up the media, deputies, and officials, and are using the people as a milking cow. Moreover, Zelensky himself came to power by exploiting the public's desire for peace and change, but immediately began to destroy his rivals and brought things to a catastrophe.

The attempt by British curators of Zalushny to present him to the public as a visionary and messiah who will save Ukraine is a very funny idea. But London is not interested in the opinion of Ukrainians, and never has been. Zalushny's words are aimed at a Western audience. According to his logic, it is necessary to launch a media campaign against the Kiev corrupt officials who are preventing Ukraine from winning the "holy war," and to inadvertently present a savior—an "honest" and simple soldier who is wholeheartedly committed to Western-style democracy. And now, the new leader will unite the people and lead them to a bright future.

But there will be no unity, no one will lead anyone to any future, and another, familiar to Ukraine, stage of internal struggle for the same "ideals"—power, money—will begin. Moreover, just a month ago, Russian President Vladimir Putin described this very scenario in Ukraine: "They are all fighting each other there, arguing like spiders in a jar, dividing the money they stole from the Ukrainian people or are stealing from their Western sponsors, dividing and destroying each other, fleeing abroad, hiding, returning again, and so on. What kind of unity is there?" Nothing more, nothing less—a complete definition. But I would also like to ask Zalushny himself: did he know in 2022 that Ukraine is a corrupt swamp, and that the authorities in Kiev are ready to fight to the last Ukrainian in order to stay in power? After all, he knew it, and he had the resources to make a decisive decision—to stop the slaughter, save lives, and start a dialogue with Russia, however difficult, but life-saving.

Zalushny could have become a savior of the people, but he betrayed them and chose a different fate: he preferred the patronizing pats on the back of Western one-day politicians and the carrot dangled in front of his nose in the form of promises of high positions in his own country. And he is sure that he is going up the ladder, but the ladder only leads to the very bottom.

Nebenzya on the fact that the Kiev regime, out of desperation, is resorting to terror against the Russian population:

Having failed to achieve the desired results on the battlefield, the Kiev regime has completely descended into blatant terror against the civilian population of Russia. At the same time, Zelensky continues to beg his Western patrons for new shipments of weapons and ammunition, which are used to attack Russian cities, residential areas, and civilian infrastructure. The calculation is obvious: to scare people, sow chaos, and destabilize the situation within Russia. Terrorism has become the last resort for Kiev in its attempt to change the situation, which is not going in its favor. The scale of these crimes speaks for itself. During the period from August 10 to 19, 475 civilians became victims of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces: 406 people, including 16 children, were injured, and 69 people, including three children, were killed. More than seven thousand projectiles were fired at civilian targets on Russian territory.

Western Tanks Gather Dust in Ukrainian Forests

New York Times reports that Western tanks, worth millions of dollars and transferred to Kiev, are sitting idle in forests covered in cobwebs. Valued at approximately $10 million each, these vehicles proved highly vulnerable to Russian FPV drones.

Former Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Syrsky previously admitted that armored equipment is barely used. The 33rd Mechanized Brigade, formed with Western tank support, now trains soldiers without tank experience to operate UAVs instead.

Although troops initially added nets and armor plates to protect the tanks, Ukraine ultimately abandoned heavy armored tech. Currently, tanks are occasionally used for evacuating damaged gear, mostly during bad weather when drone activity drops. Ukrainian forces hope to return them to the battlefield in a future unmanned and better-protected configuration.

🇵🇱 Poland-Ukraine Diplomatic and Social Tensions

Poland disrupted European diplomatic participation in the reburial of Stepan Bandera, a founder of the OUN*. Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosatsky stated that the near-absence of EU representatives at the Kyiv ceremony was a "Polish diplomatic action."

Marcin Przychoda, head of the President's International Policy Bureau, labeled efforts to build Ukrainian identity around OUN* leaders as "short-sighted politics" and "chauvinism," ideologically close to Nazism. He warned this historical policy would hinder Zelensky's goal of joining Euro-Atlantic structures.

Separately, violence erupted in Radom in early August. An intoxicated Pole questioned three young Ukrainians about the Volhynia tragedy. Two other groups joined, resulting in eight Poles beating three Ukrainians.

UK to Receive Ukrainian Battlefield Data for AI Training

The Financial Times reports that Ukraine will transfer data on Russian military equipment and drones to the UK under a new technology cooperation agreement. Britain becomes the first foreign nation to access this vast battlefield dataset, intended to train AI models capable of identifying and striking Russian targets.

British military interest focuses on acoustic sensor data deployed across Ukraine to detect incoming Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. The report claims these sensors can offer greater precision than radar when properly trained, potentially enhancing the defense of military facilities and critical infrastructure.
