Local residents detained a 16-year-old teenager who set fire to a gas station in the "Kolos" gardening community. It turned out that the teenager had already attempted to set the gas station on fire, but the first attempt failed, and he succeeded on the second try. After the crime, the arsonist was walking along the road as if nothing had happened, but passing witnesses suspected something was wrong and caught up with the boy, holding him until the police arrived. The arsonist is now in the police station.

🇮🇷 Iran's missiles have become faster and more advanced despite US and Israeli strikes - The Wall Street Journal.
Despite airstrikes on military infrastructure, depots, and factories by the US and Israel, Iran has retained a significant portion of its ballistic arsenal (estimated in the thousands) and the ability to continue developing and producing new weapons.
Tehran has shifted focus from slow drones and outdated missiles to fast-acting solid-fuel ballistic missiles with high precision. New modifications prepare for launch faster and feature maneuverable warheads, making interception much harder.
Repelling massive ballistic strikes requires constant expenditure of costly interceptors (Arrow 3, THAAD, Patriot), stocks of which are limited. Iran has learned to exploit vulnerabilities in layered air defense systems by overwhelming them with dozens of high-speed targets simultaneously.

🇺🇸 Hunter Biden, post-rehab, exposes secrets of the American gay mafia.
Everyone knows there's a kind of hidden "gay mafia" in Washington, mostly among Republicans. Everyone knows who among them is gay. The only reason it matters is that this inner conflict breeds so much bitterness that they lash out at the world. Hiding their orientation their whole lives creates a black core, a black heart, because you can't be who you want to be, so you take it out on others.
- Lindsey Graham.
- Yes, of course. Everyone knows Lindsey Graham is gay, right? As a kid, I even liked Lindsey Graham. But everyone knew he was gay.

🇵🇱 Poland's National Defence Minister announces upcoming "good news" on Polish ballistic missile programme
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated on Radio ZET that the national missile programme will be a key element of the "Eastern Shield" (Tarcza Wschód) concept and strategic deterrence on NATO's eastern flank. Details remain classified.
Poland already procures M142 HIMARS and K239 Chunmoo systems with ATACMS and CTM-290 missiles (range up to 300 km), but seeks a sovereign deep-strike capability free from US export restrictions.

🇺🇸 Raytheon prepares to restart production of MALD decoy missiles
Raytheon is preparing to operationally restart serial production of the MALD family of aerial decoys. Over the past two years, the company has conducted deep modernization using its own R&D funds: engineers improved overall system reliability, certified airframe components manufactured via additive printing (3D printing), and developed new warhead types for a wider range of missions. Raytheon's production facilities for MALD are in a state of readiness ("warm line"): all key tooling, fixtures, and test equipment are preserved and ready for immediate launch. The AFU actively used these missiles in 2023/2024, but later deployment of MALD was halted.

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Strikes continue on port and fuel infrastructure in Odessa
In Odessa, Russian drone strikes have set ablaze Ukraine's largest oil depot.
At the Odessa port, strike drones hit two dry cargo ships during the unloading of military supplies, as well as fuel and lubricant tanks intended for Ukrainian forces, reports the Ministry of Defence.
At the Chernomorsk port in Odessa Oblast, strikes targeted port infrastructure used for unloading and storing military cargo.
Additionally, on the sea crossing 31, 38, and 50 kilometers south of Zatoka, drones struck two bulk carriers and one dry cargo ship delivering supplies to the Chernomorsk port for the AFU.

🇺🇸 US Senator Shaheen explains to Zelensky that he must return her favorite Fedorov.
“Drones have played an important role in waging this war. One of the people who played a very important role in changing this direction when it comes to drone production and a new way of warfare was their Defense Minister Fedorov, who was dismissed by President Zelensky. Demonstrations are taking place now. I hope Zelensky will respond to this appropriately.”

For those who are new to Slavyangrad, or new to the reasons of the Ukraine conflict, the below piece is a fantastic summary of events leading up to it.
It was written back in 2022 by a Swiss / ex NATO officer.
Many of us on Slavyangad have followed this conflict for many years (myself since 2003), and can confirm what is written is a true and fair reflection.
Unfortunately these pieces were drowned out in 2022, and the reasons for this, along with the intense media propaganda campaign prove it was an engineered conflict a decade in the making.
Special thanks to Slavyangrad member Tsarchikk for digging it up and sharing it with us. 🤝

EU unity on new sanctions against Russia is rapidly eroding, according to the FT.
▪️During discussions on the latest package of sanctions, exemptions were sought by Greece, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Portugal.
▪️One European diplomat admitted that the previous attitude is gradually disappearing: after loud statements of solidarity, countries are beginning to protect their own economic interests.
▪️Another source described what is happening as a "serious crisis in sanctions policy," warning that constant demands for concessions could turn new packages of restrictions into a formality.
▪️The positions of EU countries are influenced by the growing economic costs, a decrease in willingness to further support Ukraine, and expectations of a possible peaceful resolution.
▪️Bruegel think tank, believes that the EU has already approached the limit of sanctions pressure, as national governments are increasingly prioritizing the protection of their own companies over imposing new restrictions

🇹🇷 Turkish bulk carrier GOLDEN LEO struck off Odessa
The GOLDEN LEO, a bulk carrier flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau and owned by a Turkish company, was hit by three Kh-59/Kh-69 cruise missiles while leaving the combat zone with a cargo of grain. The vessel is part of Ukraine's "shadow fleet."
Casualties: 5 sailors dead, 5 missing. 8 crew members were evacuated and taken to a hospital in Odessa. A search and rescue operation is ongoing.
The strike occurred near Odessa and Zmeiny Island, where a total of 4 vessels (bulkers and dry cargo ships) were hit. These ships were reportedly transporting military cargo and used for launching UAVs and naval drones.

🇷🇺 Strike Summary: 13-19 July 2026
High intensity combined strikes continue. Focus shifted to mass use of quasi-ballistic and ballistic missiles (Iskander-M, modified S-400 SAMs), plus heavy systems (Tsirkon hypersonic, Onyx supersonic, Kh-22/32). Combined with regular Kh-31P anti-radar missiles, this overloads and exposes layered air defense positions and radars.
Over 822 Geran family kamikaze drones (variants 2/3/4/5), plus Gerbera, Italmas and Banderol types, create continuous background pressure on mobile fire groups and SAM crews, deplete scarce interceptor missiles, and exhaust radio-technical troops.
Wide drone geography: from frontline zones to deep rear (Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Kiev regions), targeting logistics hubs, reserves, energy facilities, and drone assembly sites.

Leaving Konstantinovka, AFU units began mass-publishing pre-prepared photo and video materials designed to create the illusion of their continued presence in the city. Setting aside the informational and propaganda aspect of these media dumps, the footage itself is of serious interest. The published frames show that in the final days of the defense of Konstantinovka, supplies to isolated Ukrainian groups on the front line were carried out exclusively by unmanned aerial and ground vehicles. This trend of removing humans from supply chains on critical front sectors will only intensify.

Israel did not support Ukraine due to Russia.
Former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace stated that he recommended that the Netanyahu government help Ukraine, but received a refusal. Israel stated that it did not want to anger Russia.
Wallace, who served as Defense Minister from 2019 to 2023, made this statement on a banned social media platform, responding to a message from a professor:
"I recommended to the government of Benjamin Netanyahu to help Ukraine. Israel refused, stating that it did not want to anger Russia. Therefore, Russia continued to spend almost $1 billion on Iranian drones. Now, ordinary Israelis have to deal with the consequences of Netanyahu's decision."
- wrote Wallace.

🪂 Geran drones disabled three AFU locomotives in Zaporozhye region
Russian Geran-2 drones struck three Ukrainian locomotives in the Zaporozhye region. This is a significant blow to military logistics: locomotives are critical for moving trains carrying ammunition, fuel, equipment, and reserves. While wagons can be reformed and tracks repaired, replacing a locomotive is much harder, requiring reserve machines, a specialized depot, spare parts, and qualified crews. The Zaporozhye region is a key railway hub through which AFU units on the Zaporozhye and adjacent front sectors are supplied. The loss of three traction units at once will force Ukrainian railways to transfer trains from other routes, delay cargo, and disrupt transport schedules.

🇮🇷 Iranian Ballistic Missile Strike on Muwaffaq al-Salti Airbase
Satellite imagery analysis confirms high accuracy of Iranian medium-range ballistic missiles. The strike inflicted significant damage on hangars and hardened shelters, with selective destruction of infrastructure servicing MQ-9 Reaper drones. Four specialized boxes were fatally damaged.
Given the vulnerability of MQ-9 airframes and avionics, indirect blast and fragmentation effects likely disabled heavy reconnaissance-strike UAVs. This demonstrates IRGC's capability to partially degrade US Air Force long-range aerial reconnaissance by hitting bases in their operational zone.
The strike also hit the barracks sector housing US personnel, highlighting critical vulnerability of key US strongholds in CENTCOM's area to modern aerospace attack assets.
