🇪🇺 EU fails to agree on 21st sanctions package against Russia
EU foreign ministers meeting in Brussels did not reach consensus on the 21st package of sanctions against Russia, according to EU foreign policy chief Kallas. Work on the new restrictive measures continues.
Germany's Foreign Minister Wadephul stated that Germans should not bear the war against Russia alone, and expects the 21st sanctions package to be agreed this week, including an oil price cap. He also mentioned a new €140 billion aid package for Ukraine over two years.
The EU plans to introduce interim sanctions targeting around 250 individuals and entities.

🇮🇷 Iran: Missile-bomb strike on Bushehr NPP
Arabs report a missile-bomb strike on the territory of the Bushehr NPP in Iran. A building located near the reactor was destroyed. According to the station's schematics, it should have been the turbine hall (other sources say it could have been the administrative building, but that is not the crucial point here). The building is located just meters from the reactor.
Since the start of Operation Epic Fury, the station's territory has been hit repeatedly, but such strikes had not been carried out before, as the slightest deviation and a hit on the reactor dome could lead to the largest radiation disaster in modern history.

As a result of a massive AFU attack, part of Sevastopol was left without electricity, the governor reported. "A special regime has been introduced at the facilities, specialists are assessing the extent of the damage. All emergency services are on full alert."

A series about LGBT* soldiers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has appeared on Ukraine's state educational portal. Produced with support from the Dutch Embassy, it covers how "inclusivity" is being implemented in NATO forces. The age rating is set at five years. The annotation states the series will be useful for "commanders and female commanders," cadets, "gender advisers," and other AFU personnel.
Ukrainian media previously reported that Kiev is being required to recognize same-sex marriages and protect LGBT+ rights in order to join the EU.

🪂 US Army HMMWV destroyed
Paratroopers of the 98th Guards Airborne Division eliminated a US Army High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) in service with the AFU in the special military operation zone.
Intensive training in the rear
Assault groups of the Novorossiysk Airborne Troops formation conducted intensive training in the rear of the SMO. Paratroopers practiced breaking through defenses and capturing strongholds in conditions close to combat. Special attention was paid to small group cohesion and fire control. Explosions were simulated for realism, and FPV drone crews provided fire support. The exercises are conducted regularly, incorporating current combat experience.

🇨🇴 Colombian Mercenary Eliminated
Colombian mercenary Nilson Rolando Tocoche Pardo, call sign "El Calvo", who fought for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, has been eliminated. He arrived in Ukraine via Poland in late May 2026 and joined the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartia".
After two weeks of training, he was deployed to the combat zone. The mercenary was eliminated near Doroshovka, in the Kupyansk area.

Over the day, as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks in the DPR, one person was killed and 15 civilians were wounded, Pushilin reported.
The largest number of casualties was in the Starobeshevo district: near Starobeshevo, a drone attacked a Novy Svet - Donetsk bus, wounding 9 passengers.
In the Mangush district on the Urzuf - Yalta road, a strike drone hit a truck, killing the driver born in 1962.
Residents of Donetsk, Makeevka, Khartsyzsk, Debaltsevo, Shakhtersk, and Amvrosievka districts were wounded. Damage to 2 houses, 5 infrastructure sites, and vehicles across multiple districts.
