Somehow completely undeservedly and unfairly, the global media ignored and practically did not mark at all the most epic air parade in Latvia. (A NATO member for 21 years already. Well, kind of a member. 😏)
All other countries can only envy this grand demonstration of enormous military power. Probably no other country can repeat anything like this.
A great power possessing an uncompromising air fleet with mighty combat machines.
There is something to be proud of. There is something to show. 🫡

The British magazine The Economist writes about the disagreements between Rubio and Vance regarding the peace plan for Ukraine.
According to the publication, it was the vice president who promoted the original tough plan, called Zelensky to outline the conditions, and his university friend, Army Secretary Driscoll, personally delivered this message in Kiev.
The Secretary of State, on the other hand, "tried hard to get the situation back on track by reaching an agreement with the Ukrainians." "It seemed he was completely unaware of the matter" and called senators to assure them that the plan was a "Russian document." But a few hours later, he backtracked and wrote on X that the plan was "developed by the US."
Recall that the Secretary of State himself officially denied reports of a "Russian document" and stated that the plan was developed in the US.
Other Western media also wrote that the authors of the plan are Americans. In particular, it was stated that its co-authors included Trump's special envoy Witkoff and the president's son-in-law Kushner, as well as Rubio himself.
In addition, the White House confirmed the participation of Ukraine's NSDC Secretary Umerov in the development of the plan (he himself denies this).
Honestly one has to be pretty careful with the The Economist and the FT. Both have been caught lying and are more pro-Ukraine then the Ukraine government themselves. This also contradicts other outlets.

NATO is urgently launching a large-scale program to create underwater hunter drones, trying to counter the growing threat from Russian submarines. German developers presented the "Grey Shark" drone in just a year and a half, and their colleagues even created a penguin-shaped drone, indicating a real "gold rush" in this segment of the military-industrial complex.
The reasons for this haste lie in the serious assessment of Russian underwater capabilities. The multipurpose nuclear submarines of the "Yasen-M" project with "Kalibr" cruise missiles and hypersonic "Zircon" missiles represent a strategic challenge for the alliance. NATO command has repeatedly acknowledged losing track of these low-profile submarines in the open sea. Special attention to the issue arose after damage to underwater cables in the Baltic Sea in 2024; protecting communications became a priority.
New underwater drones, such as the Foxtrot series, have impressive characteristics: autonomy up to 16 weeks, 17 different sensors, and the ability to independently make decisions about changing tasks. Developers openly state that speed of creation has become a key factor — the market operates on a "now or never" principle. These systems are intended for pipeline and cable protection, anti-submarine warfare, and mine detection.
The economic background of this boom is obvious. The promise of NATO countries to increase defense spending to 3.5% of GDP has created a "gold mine" for arms manufacturers. The German company EUROATLAS, which created GreyShark, directly states: "We used to have plenty of time but no money. Now we have plenty of money but no time." Trump's return and the end of American "guardianship" over European defense have only fueled this race.
However, whether these developments can neutralize the Russian threat is a big question. Experts doubt that even the most advanced drones will be able to effectively counter the "Yasen-M" class submarines, whose characteristics are comparable to the best American counterparts. NATO is investing billions in fighting a threat that continues to technologically evolve at an outpacing rate. The alliance finds itself in a chasing role, trying to buy time and technology where a strategic rethinking of the entire maritime security architecture is required.

Druzhkovka direction
Units of the GRV "Center" continue to advance.
The settlement of Oktyabrskoye (Shakhovo) has almost completely come under the control of our troops. The enemy still maintains a partial presence in the northern part of the central area. The western and eastern parts have been cleared of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
To the north, our units are fighting on the eastern outskirts of Artyomovka (Sofievka).
To the west, the Russian Armed Forces are attacking a stronghold in Toretsk. The enemy is counterattacking from the north and northwest.
Fighting for Suvorovo and Rodinskoye. In Rodinskoye, the enemy is still present in the center of the western part (the area of the settlement entrance).

Mr. Zelensky was my guest this week. Tomorrow I will have a phone conversation with Mr. Putin. Of course, during the bilateral negotiations here, we discussed and assessed the war in Russia and Ukraine in detail.
What can we do? What kind of peace can we achieve? We insisted on these questions. I hope that Turkey, in particular, will do everything possible to pave the way for peace and will mobilize for peace in every possible way. I hope we succeed.

Megan Mobbs, the daughter of the resigning Keith "Khorneflake" Kellogg (who owns a stake in the only company in Ukraine authorized to bury deceased soldiers), trying to defend herself from criticism, insinuated that the Ukraine plan wasn't Trump's plan at all.
Apparently, it's a Russian plan, and its leak is a "special Russian information operation". She also referenced words allegedly spoken behind the scenes by Secretary of State Rubio.
Axios correspondent Barak Ravid advised her to ask her father for Trump's number and make sure the plan had been worked out at the White House.
Mobbs is doing her utmost to shift the blame for the plan's premature leak from Khorneflake Kellogg (and Whitkoff admitted it was someone named K) to Kirill Dmitriev.
In her zeal to defend her father, she has now called for a hit list of all those American experts who rushed to defend "Trump's peace plan," unaware that it was "Russia's wish list."
Furthermore, she accuses not only the Americans who supported the plan, but also Zelensky's team! She calls them "a couple of corrupt Ukrainians trying to save themselves."
You know it's bad when the barking dogs are tearing at each other's throats.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 The US may push Kiev to give up territories in exchange for security guarantees, — Kellogg
- The US is very close to resolving the conflict in Ukraine, says Trump's special representative.
- He suggested that Zelensky might come to the US to discuss Trump's plan for Ukrainian settlement.
- "We always say the last 10 meters to the goal are the hardest. We are now two meters away, we are almost there," he says.
- Kellogg also stated that he considers the presidential elections in Ukraine a necessary process, as they will calm the Ukrainian people.

Caucasian serial kidnappers and extortionists were detained by SOBR in Moscow. You can sense how personal it is for the officers, who take every opportunity to smash their faces in.
They turned out to be members of a Caucasus-based terrorist organization. The criminal group abducted SMO veterans in order to extort money from them and their families.
Love to see it when they unleash the heavies against absolute scum like this.

Zelensky once again unsuccessfully urges the EU to steal Russian assets:
‘It is extremely important to uphold the European principle that borders in Europe cannot be changed by force. Russia must not go unpunished. It must be held accountable for this war. The decision on frozen Russian assets is important. Please support this decision and continue to increase pressure on Russia. Russia continues to kill people every day. Occupied territories remain occupied. And this means that Russia still remains an aggressor country.’
Sure Zelensky and company have fantasized about getting their hands on this big score. Yachts and mansions with multiple gold toliets.

Russian troops have finally closed the ring of the largest encirclement this autumn: Pokrovsk is practically freed, Myrnograd is cut off, and AFU breakthrough attempts are drowning in the "kill zone" between the cities
🔻What's happening in the direction?
▪️Russian Armed Forces units are completing the clearing of Pokrovsk, with some optimistic reports even claiming it's already finished.
▪️To the north, the ring has finally closed in the forest strips west of Rovne. Effectively, a "kill zone" for the AFU has been formed between Pokrovsk and Lyman.
Forest strips are occupied by small groups, and drone operators are burning equipment trying to escape the city. Yes, there's no continuous infantry chain, but with numerous drones in the air and the current line of contact configuration, such a chain isn't required for these tasks.
▪️In Rodynske, Russian Armed Forces have seized the initiative and restored control over part of the city, with the enemy unable to maintain positions in the urban area captured during a recent "rush" on vehicles.
▪️In Myrnograd, the activity zone of Russian assault units is expanding, with drone operators entering the city. Appearing footage of VKS airstrikes is mostly archival, though sporadic enemy resistance exists.
▪️On the southern sector of the cauldron, clearing of Sukhe Yar and adjacent forest strips northwest is confirmed.
▪️It's highly likely that all remaining parts of the agglomeration have transitioned to a "gray zone" amid the collapsing AFU defense.
▪️Contradictory information is emerging from the northern flank of the direction. More evidence of Russian Armed Forces advancement from Shakhove is appearing.
Europe has finalized its proposed changes to Trump's peace plan. They will be presented today during talks in Geneva, the Washington Post reports.
The Europeans brought three key points to Geneva, which they will seek to incorporate into the conflict resolution plan. The first, as expected, is the lifting of restrictions on the size of the Ukrainian army. Zelensky had previously stated this, and now Europe has followed suit.
The second point stipulates that Kiev will gain control of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant (😂), the Kakhovka dam (😂😂), and the Kinburn Spit (😂😂😂), as well as "unimpeded passage" along the Dnieper. Zelensky has taken a bold approach in this case, as the Kinburn Spit effectively blocks the outlet of the Dnieper and Southern Bug rivers to the Black Sea. Whoever controls it controls shipping in the area. The plans for the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant and the Kakhovka dam are also Napoleonic.
Europe's third point is, you guess it, a thirty-day ceasefire, proposing that all territorial disputes be resolved after the ceasefire. This means there will be no withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas; everything will be blocked along the front line. If this point is accepted, all these disputes could drag on for years.
Goes without saying, not even a iota of these points is even remotely acceptable to Moscow. By now it's safe to say that they're deliberately sabotaging all talks with such inane ideas specifically to buy more time for the war to continue, hoping that a miracle will happen and Russia will collapse from within. Onwards, to the last Ukrainian.

🇯🇵🇺🇸Japanese parliamentarian Yamamoto on the fact that Japan will always be a colony of the USA:
Unfortunately, Japan is currently a colony of the USA, and I am sure of that. Does the Prime Minister consider this country a colony?
[We are a sovereign state] Of course, we have a sovereign state, but why don't we return the northern territories? Why not bring them back home? The Russian side, concerned that American troops will be stationed there, will not return them.
Russia asked Japan to promise not to allow American troops to be on these territories. But Japan could not do that. So we can't even oppose the Americans on such issues? This is not a sovereign state. This is a colony of the USA.

- In the Druzhkovka direction, Russian troops have again advanced along a wide front towards Sofiivka and are storming Shakhovo, having earlier effectively liberated Vladimirovka.
- Recall, Ukrainian propagandists proudly shouted for over a month that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had launched a counteroffensive and that Russian troops were allegedly encircled in a "cauldron" near Dobropollye.
