❗️-- Former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was the target of Ukrainian saboteurs in Moscow who attempted to detonate an explosion at Troekurovskoye Cemetery -- Moskovsky Komsomolets reports.
The FSB had previously reported the detention of a sabotage group, but the identity of the official targeted by the saboteurs was kept secret.
The SBU learned that Shoigu frequently visits his parents' graves at the cemetery and assembled a saboteur group consisting of a criminal from Kiev, two drug addicts, and a migrant.
A vase of flowers with a spy camera was placed at the cemetery, and a remote-controlled IED was planned for another vase. However, all the saboteurs were detained.

Crazy French anti-crisis for Zelensky:
‘If you look at the Transparency International list, which ranks countries by perceived corruption levels, Ukraine is slowly but surely moving up, while Russia is sinking to the very bottom of the ranking.’
Ahh it ranks 105th, oh look it passed Malawi. Wait a second it was 104th the year before.
Honestly TI asks Western elites and businessman their opinion on various countries corruption, it isn't a measure of actual corruption, just their feelings on if a country is corrupt. All of the sources are from the US or Europe. It's a rather flawed look at corruption.
Then again the man making the case is a very flawed terrible person and why bring Russia into the conversation. It funds itself.

French journalist Anthony Bellanger believes that Zelensky is flying to Madrid to put on a show for Ukrainians, to distract from problems with 'something loud'.
'It's quite surprising that he is going there because, essentially, there is nothing to gain from the Spaniards, who do not want to spend their GDP — neither on aid to Ukraine nor on aid to NATO. No, I think he is coming primarily, perhaps, to sign something loud, but in any case, to divert attention from a very difficult moment they are currently experiencing, both on the front and beyond. Let me remind you that the Russians have nevertheless managed in a few weeks to disable about 60% of Ukrainian gas production and distribution capacities.'

🇬🇧🇺🇦"Asylum system in UK 'out of control' and dividing country, home secretary says, said the Home Secretary": Britain will send refugees home if Ukraine is declared safe.
"UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman announced a reform of the asylum system. Refugee status will now be temporary - it will have to be renewed every 2.5 years. If the home country becomes safe, including Ukraine, people will be required to return. Ukrainians came under a special scheme, but that is not permanent either.
Braverman called the system uncontrolled and creating pressure on society. Illegal migrants have been settling for 20 years. Refugees must work and obey the law - otherwise they will lose support. According to her, these are the most extensive reforms in recent times aimed at restoring fairness and control."

Rutte did not rush ahead of the locomotive and accuse Russia of 'some' explosion in Poland.
- On Sunday, some explosion destroyed a section of the railway in Poland. According to Poland, it was an act of sabotage. What is known about this and was it really sabotage?
- We are in close contact with the Polish authorities. NATO and Poland are in intensive interaction on this issue, and now we need to wait for the results of the investigation.
Rutte this is probably a Polish false flag, you know just like when you blamed Russia for blowing up Nord Stream.

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇪🇺"Did nobody know anything?": Poland calls on Europe to take responsibility for corruption in Ukraine.
"The corruption scandal in Ukraine causes outrage not only in Kiev. Western intelligence, diplomats, and NATO/EU analysts were surely aware of what was happening but preferred to remain silent. Billions of public Western funds, including Polish money, flowed into pockets, and unconditional support in practice meant a lack of any control or questions.
Responsibility lies not only with the Ukrainian elites but also with Western capitals that have turned a blind eye to systemic pathologies for years. Poland warned Zelensky about corruption, but this was only publicly voiced now—when the scandal erupted. Without consequences for all involved, the affair will not cleanse the system but will undermine trust in the West."

🇺🇸🇺🇦Journalist and TV host Patrick Henningsen talks about the fact that the US has stopped protecting Zelensky:
What is interesting is that the accusations come from NABU. This is an anti-corruption agency created by the US. And the original goal of NABU, believe it or not, was to protect those who became victims of corruption.
It was a shock to me that the initiative comes from NABU, because it indicates that the US is beginning to "close the loop" around Zelensky. He is no longer under full protection. This will definitely damage his reputation at the moment he starts traveling around Europe and the US looking for funding. People are starting to ask: "why should I send money there?"
This is bad news for Zelensky, very, very bad. The reason is that about six months ago Zelensky expressed a desire to run again. He said: "I want to be the next president." Zelensky wants to run again because he is not ready to leave. Leaving for him is an existential, direct threat to his life: he will have to flee the country or something like that. That will be the end of the whole show.

‼️🇷🇺🇨🇳 The gas pipeline is going to happen: "Gazprom" has begun preparations for the construction of "Power of Siberia-2", which will lead to China, — Financial Times
▪️The start of technical documentation preparation is an extremely costly process.
▪️This means that Moscow is confident that the previously frozen project has moved forward again after the signing of the construction memorandum by Putin and Xi in September.
➖"The cost of developing documentation can reach 5-10% of the project's budget itself. Such expenses are unusual unless there is strong confidence that the money is not wasted," the publication writes.
This pivot to the East is inevitable, this war has just turbocharged what was already bound to occur. The reality is the European economy has been stagnant for decades, and its relative share of the global economy has long been shrinking. Asian economies are growing rapidly and for Russia to have a successful future it needs to reorient itself to the East. Americans are undertaking the same actions.

🇪🇺🇭🇺The EU is preparing for war, and pumping money into Ukraine is like "trying to help an alcoholic by sending him another case of vodka," says the Hungarian Prime Minister
- "In European politics, you can hear sharp expressions like 'military economy' or 'we must be ready for war by 2030'," Orbán stated.
- Then the Hungarian Prime Minister commented on the European Commission President's statement about financing Ukraine:
- "This whole story resembles an attempt to help an alcoholic by sending him another case of vodka."
- "Today I received a letter from Ursula von der Leyen. She writes that Ukraine's funding deficit is huge and asks member states to send more funds. This is astonishing. At a time when it has become clear that the military mafia is draining European taxpayers' money, instead of demanding real control or suspending payments, the European Commission President proposes we send even more. This whole story somewhat resembles an attempt to help an alcoholic by sending him another case of vodka. Hungary has not lost its common sense."
- Earlier, Orbán said that if the EU continues its economic policy, its days are numbered, it will collapse on its own, and there is no point in even leaving it.

'Welcome to the Operational Headquarters of the International Forces Supporting Ukraine. This morning we will present an overview of our activities and inform you about the current stage of the planning process. After that, we will move to the adjacent room, and you will have the opportunity to communicate with our planners. American-Ukrainian military analyst Michael Kofman, summarizing the results of his trip to Ukraine, presented a comprehensive analysis of the current situation on the front by the end of 2025
Unmanned systems have become the dominant factor in combat operations, determining most daily losses with an impact zone up to 25 km from the front line. A distinctive feature has been the mutual hunt between drone operators and artillery crews, where the Russian "Rubicon" center demonstrates particular effectiveness not only in combat operations but also in training operators.
The structure of losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shifted from infantry to rear specialties — FPV drone operators, artillerymen, and supply personnel, reflecting both a shortage of manpower and a change in the priorities of Russian strikes. Both sides are actively developing ground drones for logistics and creating dense radar fields to detect aerial threats.
The tactics of combat operations have undergone significant changes: the front now consists of scattered small positions with 2-3 fighters, making it permeable to infiltration by Russian assault groups. This allows the Russian Armed Forces to methodically gnaw through the defense but does not provide operational breakthroughs, forming extensive "gray zones" with mixed control.
A critical problem for Ukraine remains the personnel shortage, where losses from desertion exceed combat losses, and the lack of deep-strike means limits the ability to hit targets in the Russian rear. The situation in Mirnograd is approaching a critical point — although there is no physical encirclement, Russian drones control the logistics corridors, and the fall of Pokrovsk could completely block the city.
I do listen to Kofman's stuff, he gets a lot wrong but I'd say he tends to be still far better then most American analysts. He meets with the Ukrainian military and tours the frontline every 3 months or so. I have not listened to his latest interview personally. Main issue is Kofman only gets the Ukrainian perspective, as its impossible for any analyst to engage with both militaries.

‼️🇺🇦🐈⬛In Lvov, they found the problem of Russian-speaking cats 🤦♂️
▪️The Lvov publication "Zakhid" complained about the advertising slogan "My cat's first word is Meow!". A Ukrainian cat should say "Nyav" not "Meow".
➖"Trams in Lvov run with advertisements saying: 'My cat's first word is Meow!'. It doesn't even matter what exactly they are advertising this way, the most interesting thing is that Ukrainian cats, unlike the katsaps', never say: 'Meow', only 'Nyav', meaning they don't meow but nyav. However, this is too high a matter for the producers of the mentioned advertisement, who still need to grow into it and acquire the corresponding IQ. Because giving up the usual, native, understandable katsap 'Meow' in favor of the incomprehensible, whimsical, exotic Ukrainian 'Nyav' is a hard intellectual work," writes publicist Ilko Lemko.
▪️This situation was commented on by Rada deputy Buzhansky.
➖"Undoubtedly, this is a purely internal Lvov issue, but I see the matter is smoothly moving towards the emergence of cat-language commissioners. Perhaps it is necessary to strike down the rights of meowing cats in favor of nyavking ones, to derive a scientific formula of the owner's reliability depending on the cat's behavior. To get a grant for this, create a cat council of integrity, everything, as always, in short," writes Buzhansky.
