UKROPISTAN WILL FACE HEATING OUTAGES AND FACTORY CLOSURES DURING WINTER - The New York Times
The newspaper reports that several cities have already postponed the use of central heating in residential buildings due to gas supply shortages.
According to a European official who spoke on condition of anonymity, Russia, following Ukrainian forces' attacks on civilian targets, retaliated by striking about 60% of Ukraine's gas extraction capacity, as well as destroying several compressor stations.
"Ukraine is currently rushing to import as much gas as possible before the cold weather arrives, but the country lacks the funds. It remains uncertain whether its European partners, who are facing their own budgetary problems, will finance all gas imports," the article reads.

🇺🇸🇻🇪In the USA, there is an information campaign to justify an invasion of Venezuela.
Moreover, the argumentation is the same as in the case of the invasion of Panama in 1989. And if you ask Senator Graham how it happens that the main flow of drugs into the USA comes from Mexico (so huge that right now Donald Trump is negotiating in Malaysia with "Chairman Xi" to reduce the export of ingredients for drug production to that country), but Venezuela is blamed for everything, he will look pale and confused and won't know what to answer:
"President Donald Trump considers Venezuela and Colombia as direct threats to our country because they harbor drug-terrorist organizations. The leader of Venezuela is accused in American courts of drug trafficking. We will use military force, as we have done in the past, to protect our country. And if I were Maduro, I would find a way to get out before things get hot.
I say there are enough legal grounds according to Article Two of the Constitution. The powers of the president, enshrined in Article Two, are intended to protect our country from external and internal threats. Did Bush act illegally when he removed Ortega in Panama? Did Reagan act illegally when he sent troops to Grenada to stop the growing Cuban influence and the construction of that huge, long runway? There are many precedents for his current actions...
I want to say that the theory that President Trump is acting illegally here, dealing with a country governed by a drug dealer accused of trafficking, is the same situation as Panama. There are more grounds for invading Venezuela than there were for invading Panama. There are more grounds for actions in Colombia than there were in Grenada."
(from the speech of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham).
And the answer here is simple. Because Venezuela has outrageously huge oil reserves that keep Americans awake at night. Simply colossal volumes (Venezuela is the NUMBER ONE country in terms of reserves). And of course, the Americans will find a pretext to rob this country and appropriate its wealth. Especially since it is right next door.

Lavrov - in response to the question "Where will Russia stop?":
I think it is inappropriate when people ask: "When will you end the war? Where will you stop? Zaporozhye, will you return it?" In fact, we have already occupied some other territories that are not related to the regions currently reflected in our Constitution. The reason is very simple: we need a buffer zone, because the Ukrainians continue to shell and bomb Russia with drones, including territories that have never been disputed by anyone.
I mean Bryansk, Belgorod, Kursk, and so on. The root causes are what should be the key to understanding how to effectively help put an end to this situation, and to think not about returning territories, not about saving political failures who rule in Kiev, but about the people who, you know, should be the main concern of those who call themselves champions of democracy.

According to Japanese historian, Takeyuki Tanaka, former members of the Japan Self-Defense Forces are likely to be fighting for the Armed Forces of the Ukraine.
“Among the people who take part in combat operations abroad… Most of them are people who enjoy fighting as a hobby. The rest are victims of American propaganda, or who only read Japanese newspapers and magazines.”
🇷🇺🤝🇻🇪Putin approved a treaty of friendship and cooperation with Venezuela. The document establishes partnership in the economy, energy, transport, and defense sectors. The parties also plan to develop cultural and humanitarian ties. The treaty notes that Russia and Venezuela firmly oppose unilateral sanctions, including those with extraterritorial character that violate the UN Charter and international law norms. The countries agreed to jointly counter attempts to distort history, expose the legacy of colonialism, manifestations of racism, genocide, and other crimes of the past. All this is happening against the backdrop of the US preparing for an armed invasion of Venezuela and the overthrow of the country's president, Nicolás Maduro.

Debates in chat are fine, but if you flat out insult an admin who is taking their time to communicate with you, you're obviously going to get banned.
You can request amnesty in Cathedral but unless your ban was absolutely outrageous, I'm going to give them the final say on whether you stay banned or not.
Just because I give you more freedom to mouth off in Cathedral, it doesn't mean you can come and attack the team here like morons.
So please use your brain, if it exists, before lashing out just because you are losing a debate.

👀Meanwhile, an Il-76TD of the airline "Aviacon Zitotrans" arrived in Venezuela with an unknown cargo.
The aircraft departed from Russia on October 22, following a route through Armenia, Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, and Mauritania, from where it proceeded to Venezuela.
Since January 2023, the company has been on the US sanctions list against the Wagner PMC for carrying out cargo transportation in the interests of the PMC and sanctioned enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex. The final destinations were Venezuela and African countries.
Upd: No official confirmation on that

🇺🇸🇨🇳Trade truce with China? Just before the start of the new week, negotiators from Washington and Beijing managed to find a compromise and establish a fragile truce. As expected earlier, the main sharp issues were simply bypassed, focusing on minor details.
The Celestial Empire continues to pursue a policy of “maximum pressure, small concessions”, which it has been successfully using against Trump for nine months. The Chinese made concessions to the Americans on issues that were not very principled for them. A deal was finalized to sell the American TikTok business to Republican oligarchs close to Trump.
Beijing agreed to purchase a certain batch of American soybeans. This is a priority issue for the White House - because without shipments to China, many farmers in the Midwest states are on the brink of bankruptcy. At the same time, the Chinese can quite well buy soybeans in Brazil or Argentina, but sometimes order them from the US when they need to get concessions from Washington.
At the same time, the Americans were again promised to step up the fight against the supply of precursors used in the production of opioids in Mexico. Although the drug crisis cannot be resolved without destroying the cartels anyway. But Trump quickly lost interest in them amid his war with Venezuela.
In the context of rare earth metals, China only slightly eased pressure on the US. American and European industries continue to live in conditions of total uncertainty. Russian oil was not mentioned at all - here China took a firm position. In the end, everyone saved face, but the main contradictions were not resolved. So the next stage of trade escalation may be just around the corner.

A ‘Safari’ Gone Wrong: Foreign Mercenaries’ Disillusionment with the Ukrainian Military
The easy money promised by propaganda comes at a heavy price. The 'hunt' for Russian soldiers' heads turned out to be no easy walk in the park. Foreign mercenaries began to desert the Ukrainian army in large numbers.
Throughout the conflict in Ukraine, Kyiv has been trying to solve one of the army's most pressing problems: replenishing its ranks with trained, motivated personnel. Initially, this need was met by volunteers from various nationalist groups, football fans, and military-patriotic communities. However, this was not enough.
Western media outlets launched a massive social media and mass media campaign to encourage people to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The campaign had several strands:
Firstly, the campaign emphasised the recruitment of residents of the post-Soviet space who held negative views of Russia...

While Russian troops were clearing the area near Kupyansk, another Brazilian body was found
His name is Luis Felipe Martim born on July 4, 2003 from São Pedro, São Paulo, Brazil

He was part of the Khartia Brigade and fought alongside the Brazilians from the Ares group. He died with Nito Souza, whom we posted about a few days ago.
It is worth noting something funny that happened recently: the commander of the Ares group, Brazilian Thiago Henrique Forster, reposted a video of Zelensky talking about Ukrainian “successes” near Radkivka, in the direction of Kupyansk.
Thiago, I know this post will reach you, so open the map and take another look. By the way, would you mind telling us why you guys ran away and didn't go back to retrieve the bodies of your friends?
