Trump commented on his meeting with Zelensky:
"The meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was very interesting and friendly, but I told him, as I strongly recommended to President Putin, that it's time to stop the killings and make a DEAL!
Enough blood has been shed, lines of ownership are determined by war and courage. They must stop where they are. Let both declare victory, let history decide!
No more shooting, no more deaths, no more huge and unbearable expenses. This war would never have started if I were president. Thousands of people die every week — ENOUGH, GO HOME TO YOUR FAMILIES IN PEACE!".

Prince Andrew has renounced the title Duke of York due to the Epstein case, reports The Telegraph.
The publication writes that the younger brother of the King of the United Kingdom Charles III, Prince Andrew, accused of connections with American financier Jeffrey Epstein and participation in rape, decided to voluntarily give up the title Duke of York after pressure from the king.
Prince Andrew will also lose membership in the Order of the Garter, which is the highest chivalric order of the United Kingdom, but will retain the title of prince by right of birth as the son of Queen Elizabeth II.
Recall that in 2007 Epstein was accused of pimping and coercing several dozen minors into the sex business.
Probably more heinous news about his sex crimes is coming out.

A two in one approaching the same subject from opposite sides of the coin.
If someone were to ask me, “What is the one book I should read if I wish to learn about the Eastern Front”, my answer would be Ostkrieg.
It is a perfect narrative history that explains both the nazi objective and the details of battles in the overall campaign and fronts.
When Titans Clashed however, is written by the greatest military historian of the Eastern Front of our time in my opinion, but is dry, straight to the point, and has a more historical hard facts rhetoric than usual narrative history does.
I recommend both, but if you had to pick only one: Ostkrieg is for history hobbyists who want to know what happened.
When Titans Clashed is for history hobbyists who already know, but want to know how it happened.
Pick up either, or both - you should be able to find a copy of either online for less than 20 dollars, even less than 10 if going second hand.
Both of these books explain how the USSR won the second World War and why Russia today maintains that sentiment.
One does it from a more human approach, the other from a hard military analyitic approach.
If you think that the U.K., U.S, or other, “allies” were needed to win the war, either of these books will change your mind.
It was the USSR that bore the brunt of nazi Germany, it was the USSR that fought and suffered the war, and it was the USSR that defeated them.

A journalist asks Zelensky: after this meeting, are you more or less optimistic about the delivery of Tomahawk?
Zelensky: I am realistic.
Earlier, he had already indicated at a briefing that there is no decision yet on the delivery of Tomahawk, as the US does not want escalation.
@Slavyangrad
Zelensky on Tomahawks after meeting with Trump: "We agreed not to talk about it. The USA does not want escalation."
Zelensky said that he discussed security guarantees with Trump. But he did not say what they agreed on.
On the issue of territories: "This is the most difficult question. The Russians want to get our territories even before the ceasefire. We, on the other hand, say that we need to start with the ceasefire. And only then talk about everything else. Therefore, this will be a very difficult question."

American banks including JPMorgan, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup are in talks with the U.S. Treasury to provide up to $20 billion in loans to Argentina – Semafor
President Trump has conditioned the loan on President Javier Milei, who has converted to Judaism, winning the midterms, stating 'If he loses, we are not going to be generous with Argentina.'
The bailout could even potentially be doubled to $40 billion, according to reports.
Earlier this year, Milei profited over $100 million dollars from the $LIBRA cryptocurrency scam, and later dissolved the unit in charge of investigating it.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 "Neither side wants to reach a peaceful agreement in the Ukrainian conflict," said US Vice President Vance
- "Despite all our efforts, and we will continue them, the Russians and Ukrainians simply have not reached the point where they can make a deal," he said.
- In his opinion, a resolution is still possible, but it will require "much more work."
- He acknowledged that this process has been a "test of patience for members of the administration, including himself and Trump."
- Vance believes that in some cases sanctions can cause huge damage to the US economy without achieving the desired result, so they are not the best tool.

🇺🇦🤡Head of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense Shmyhal demanded that allies transfer 0.25% of GDP to Kiev:
I would like to add a few words regarding our common defense needs for 2026. We estimate them at 120 billion dollars. Ukraine will cover half, 60 billion from our national resources. We ask you to join us in covering the other half. The most effective way to meet this need is for our European and non-European partners to allocate at least 0.25% of their GDP to military support for Ukraine.
If the goal of 60 billion dollars is unattainable for Europe and non-European partners, the only remaining solution is a loan secured by frozen Russian assets so that it can be used to finance the Ukrainian armed forces and meet their needs.
