Satellite images taken by Maxar, now Vantor, and Airbus in late September and early October show activity at the entrances to the Isfahan tunnel.
As of September 26, the second of the three entrances (the middle entrance), previously blocked by mud and debris, had been cleared, and the tunnel entrance door was visible.
Heavy machinery seen at this entrance, as well as at the northernmost entrance on September 30, indicates that instead of rushing inside the tunnels, Iran is preparing controlled and protected access to two of the three tunnel entrances and possibly reinforcing the entrances and structures against future attacks.
The southernmost tunnel entrance remains blocked by mud and debris.
Although two of the three tunnel entrances are now largely cleared and there is no visible damage to their doors, the extent of damage is still unknown.

CNN also writes that Trump told Zelensky that Ukraine would not receive "Tomahawks." According to the publication, the conversation was "tense, candid, and at times uncomfortable."
Earlier, a similar description of the meeting was given by the publication Axios.
"During a direct and honest conversation, Trump made it clear to Zelensky that at the moment the Ukrainian leader would not receive long-range missiles," the article states.
According to the TV channel, this became another example of how Trump initially moves toward a decision to provide Ukraine with new capabilities or to impose additional sanctions against Moscow, but then retreats when Putin intervenes to prevent this.
"Trump may be learning lessons from his Middle East negotiations, particularly regarding the advantages of moving forward quickly, even if key details remain unresolved," CNN notes.

The most likely route for Putin's flight to Budapest is through the Black Sea, Turkey, the Mediterranean Sea, Montenegro, and Serbia. Then from Serbia to Hungary.
This is reported by the specialized publication Air Live.
It is assumed that Russian and Turkish fighters will provide protection against possible threats from drones or missiles.
Note that the route described above is the most realistic, as it allows bypassing the airspace of all EU countries (except Hungary itself), which is closed to Russian aircraft.

🇷🇺🇺🇦The Russian army has broken through in the west and center of Pokrovsk, capturing Leontovychi and Troyanda!
- Russian troops have entered the western part of Pokrovsk, footage shows.
- Area of advance: more than 5 km²

- "The Russian Armed Forces have also taken the settlement of Troyanda — fighting continues to the north and east."

The enemy reports a very difficult situation at the junction of the DPR, Zaporozhye , and Dnepropetrovsk regions
Military communications expert Beskrestnov (Flash) writes that in recent months this has become the most difficult direction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where Russian troops are constantly advancing.
➖"There are a lot of enemy drones there, I see it online. It's hard for our guys there," writes Flash.
Recently, the Russian Armed Forces have pushed the front more than 20 kilometers forward, he writes.
The 20th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located in this direction, whose commander was removed from his post a month ago.
Apparently, the new Ukrainian commander will also be removed soon because the pace of the Russian offensive in this section of the front has not changed.

The Spanish newspaper El Mundo describes 5 possible scenarios for the end of the war in Ukraine.
1. Trump increases pressure on Russia and imposes a fragile peace.
Analysts believe this is unlikely in the near future, as for the Kremlin this war is "existential," and it will continue it at any cost. Negotiations cannot end the war, they can only pause it.
2. The war expands to the eastern NATO countries.
Any provocation, for example in the Baltic region, could escalate into a full-scale war.
3. The war continues in 2026 despite attempts to stop it.
One of the most likely scenarios, because Ukraine will not surrender, and Putin cannot exit the war without something that could be called a victory. At the same time, both countries quickly exhaust their resources, but Europe helps Ukraine, and China and North Korea help Russia.
4. The Russian economy deteriorates, and Putin has to start negotiations.
For the first time during the war, there is real concern in the Kremlin about the rapid deterioration of the Russian military economy in recent months and negative forecasts for 2026.
5. Support from allies runs out, and Ukraine is forced to yield to Russia's maximalist demands.
Especially in the case of the AfD coming to power in Germany and similar forces in other EU countries. But this is unlikely due to the position of the Eastern EU countries, which fear Russia.
Russian economy will grow in 2025 and 2026 according to western led IMF so number 4 is never going to happen.

Ukrainian Butt Kissing Causes Argument
The Institute of National Memory criticized the renaming of the Chernigov square Skazka in honor of Trump.
This is "very bad," contradicts the law, and was adopted by the city council without public discussions, said the agency's representative Sergey Butko.
"Something can be named after a private individual only after their death. This is stated in the law. As far as I know, the deputies who initiated this renaming were informed by a lawyer that it is prohibited. But it happened as it happened. In my opinion, this is very bad. Because there are many grievances in our society. Because now there are many Heroes of Ukraine (posthumously) who were born in independent Ukraine and gave their lives. They are awarded the highest honors, but there are no names in their honor," Butko said.
The initiator of the renaming, head of the "European Solidarity" faction Marina Semenenko, stated that they knew about the law, so they named the square simply "Trump," not "Donald Trump." And the Chernigov city council, in her opinion, "can establish any names it wants in the city; this is not a question for the Institute of National Memory."
They will live, they made the right choice.

Since the beginning of 2025, 336 thousand people have signed contracts with the Russian Armed Forces, and another 28 thousand have joined volunteer formations — Dmitry Medvedev.
"Overall, the situation with contract recruitment across the country looks satisfactory. We held a meeting quite recently," Medvedev said. "In total, 336 thousand people who signed contracts this year have arrived at military units, as well as 28 thousand volunteers. These are the current figures as of today," Medvedev cited the statistics.
Trump stated that he understands Hungary's situation, which needs oil from Russia:
"Hungary is, so to speak, in a hopeless position because they have one pipeline that has existed for many years. And they have no access to the sea," Trump emphasized.

According to operational data from the ground, information is confirmed about the start of fighting in the southeastern districts of Konstantinovka in the blocks of Volkhovskaya and Samarkandskaya streets.
The area is mainly composed of low-rise private housing with many buildings, extensions, sheds, and basements where the enemy may hide and set ambushes.
Nevertheless, the fact of the start of the Konstantinovka liberation operation is evident.

NATO command in Europe, responsible for Ukraine, is concerned about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

It’s hard to watch. It’s difficult not to give in to emotion when our enemy kills our people. Civilians. Those who packed a travel bag — everything that was left of their former life — and walked toward the Russian positions. To their own.
This video was filmed near Krasnoarmeysk. Our reconnaissance unit was leading a group of civilians — ordinary people: two women and four men. They were guided by our drone. People, a couple of dogs, and a cat that ran away at the moment when militants killed its owner. They attacked with a drone. A woman who was far braver than those beasts who targeted her with it. In the footage, it’s clearly visible that all the people walking with white flags are civilians. But the enraged enemy kept striking. Of this group, whom our soldiers from the 51st Army tried to save, only four survived. They are now safe. But on this road of life — and at the same time, of death — the operator of a Ukrainian drone killed another person. A man who was walking ahead of the group. Watch this footage, if you can. This video, where inhumans killed humans, is yet another painful reminder of whom we are fighting against — and how important it is to liberate Russian cities from the Banderist filth as soon as possible.

"Dragon's Teeth" showed the western bank of the Oskol. The hustle of the enemy's engineering units southwest of Kupyansk came into the sight of the reconnaissance of the 96th Separate Brigade of Reconnaissance of the 1st Tank Army. The enemy was setting up barriers in the Spodobovka area. Here, the "Lancet" served the fighters of the 96th Separate Brigade of Reconnaissance well, destroying an enemy front loader. The evacuation group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which rushed to the strike site, probably found no survivors there.

Former Trump adviser John Bolton, who became one of his fiercest critics, has been charged with mishandling classified materials, reports The Washington Post.
He faces 18 charges, each carrying up to 10 years in prison.
According to the investigation, Bolton shared classified information with relatives while preparing a book published in 2020.
Bolton sent these messages through a personal email address, which was later hacked by a person believed by U.S. authorities to be connected to the Iranian government.
Bolton had once called for the death penalty for Snowden leaking classified information. What's good for the goose is good for the gander?
