The recent shelling of gas fields in Ukraine has caused a sharp decline in gas production volumes, a source in the oil and gas industry told Ukraine's newspaper "Strana."
"It is clear that most of the production capacities will gradually be restored, but this is still not a matter of one day. As a result, there is an additional demand of about 2-3 billion cubic meters of gas for the heating season, depending on the temperature regime and the pace of recovery. The money that Naftogaz planned to spend on gas imports barely covered the previous estimated needs. There are no funds yet for the new 2-3 billion. And at current prices, this amounts to 800 million to 1.2 billion euros. Moreover, the price has started to rise in recent days after the NAK submitted bids to purchase large volumes. Thus, Naftogaz urgently needs to find about a billion euros from somewhere now. And that’s if the price doesn’t rise significantly," the source said.
‘China joins Russia’s secret war against Europe’ – Bloomberg raises the stakes in scaring readers.
‘China’s interference in European affairs is far less aggressive than Putin’s interference. However, Chinese vessels have been involved in incidents of cable cutting in the Baltic. Chinese cyberattacks have become more extensive and widespread. Western officials report a growing symbiosis between Russian and Chinese disinformation campaigns. Beijing is also driving wedges into the transatlantic community by supporting poorer countries in Southeast Europe. The goal is to create a ‘silk curtain’ stretching from Greece to Hungary that effectively divides the southern part of Europe into two.’

Why Ukraine cannot launch "Tomahawks" without the USA: observation by "Military Chronicle"
🔺The infrastructure supporting Tomahawk missiles is a complex and multi-layered system that goes far beyond the launcher itself. Since "Tomahawks" are precision, long-range weapons using multiple guidance systems, their support requires a colossal infrastructure at all stages: from planning to the actual flight.
What does launching a "Tomahawk" consist of?
Mission planning and targeting infrastructure. This is a critically important element. The American TTWCS technology - Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System - is used to calculate the missile's optimal route. The program takes into account terrain relief, known enemy air defense systems, and generates a digital route profile along which the missile will fly at low altitude.
In addition, TERCOM (Terrain Contour Matching) data is required for the flight: precise digital terrain maps that the missile uses to compare with its altimeter readings to correct its course. Modern versions of the "Tomahawk" (Block IV and V) also require infrastructure for missile control and management after launch.
These systems are used to maintain communication with the missile over long distances, as well as to redirect the missile to a new, higher-priority target or to use the loitering function, where the missile can remain in a holding pattern until a command is given to strike a detected target.

- The New York Post published declassified FBI materials handed over by Senator Chuck Grassley. According to the documents, from 2016 to 2019, Ukrainian President Poroshenko and Kremlin-linked politician Viktor Medvedchuk were involved in a large-scale corruption scheme.
- Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky offered Poroshenko $100 million in shares and profits for sabotaging the Interpol investigation. The FBI links this to money laundering through gas companies, 97% of which, according to the investigation, were controlled by Medvedchuk's circle.
- Poroshenko's enterprises operated in Russia and Crimea, and he himself "helped Putin seize Ukraine in exchange for money."

🇫🇷"Emmanuel Macron's ally calls on the French president to resign early": The former French prime minister believes Macron's resignation is the best way out of the crisis.
"Former French Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, a longtime ally of Emmanuel Macron, stated that the president should resign early. According to him, the country must 'dignifiedly and orderly' emerge from the prolonged political crisis that undermines the state's stability. Philippe emphasized that waiting another 18 months until the end of Macron's term is too long.
The politician warned that early parliamentary elections carry the risk of deepening the crisis: under the current circumstances, a stable ruling majority may not be formed. His statement came as an unexpected blow to Macron, as Philippe is considered one of the president's key allies and had previously supported his course"

The Raven and the Cross Russia’s Stand at the Edge of the World
At the dawn of the 19th century, when most of Europe was devouring itself in war, Russia pushed quietly eastward across Siberia, across the Bering Sea, into the cold and wild frontier of Alaska. Where others sought colonies through blood and chains, the Russians came with trade, prayer, and the flag of the Tsar.
Aleksandr Baranov, a man of iron will and boundless ambition, led this advance. He was no conqueror in golden armor but a merchant turned governor a builder of forts, a peacemaker among tribes, and a servant of the fatherland. His dream was simple: to bring order, faith, and prosperity to these distant coasts.
But the land he entered was not empty. The Tlingit clans ruled the islands and inlets, fierce warriors, proud and cunning, armed with bows, muskets, and armor of wood and hide. They fought their neighbors long before the first Russian sail appeared. When Baranov’s men built Fort Mikhailovskii dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel the Tlingit watched and waited.
For a time, there was trade. Copper, iron, furs, and peace offerings passed between them. Yet resentment grew. Foreign traders from Boston slipped the Tlingit guns and powder, whispering that they could drive the Russians into the sea. In 1802, the fort burned its garrison slaughtered, its walls torn down. Women, children, and allies alike were cut down in a massacre that left the coast strewn with bodies.
Baranov did not retaliate in fury. He rebuilt. He gathered his men, Aleut hunters, and loyal natives men who believed that Russia’s destiny was to stand firm where the West could not. Two years later, he returned to Sitka Sound. Against him stood K’alyáan, a chief of the Raven clan, who painted his face black for death and fortified his people behind a wall of timber and guns.
The battle was brutal. Cannon roared across the mist. Russian sailors advanced through mud and smoke. Baranov himself was wounded, yet he refused to leave the field. For six days the fight raged until the Tlingit, low on powder and food, withdrew into the forest under cover of night.
When dawn came, the Russians found the fort empty their victory complete. In its place rose New Archangel, capital of Russian America a testament to endurance and faith. Baranov did not enslave or exterminate his enemies. He invited them to peace, offering gifts, returning captives, and even trading a prized copper crest for their goodwill. The Tlingit chief K’alyáan met him as an equal, and the two old warriors once foes clasped hands in respect.
In the years that followed, Russia’s presence in Alaska remained limited, measured, and humane. There were no plantations, no forced conversions, no stolen children. Orthodox priests taught the faith but also defended the rights of the native peoples one of the few colonial frontiers in history where the Church sided with the conquered, not the conqueror.
When the Tsar later ordered that “no tribute shall be demanded of the Tlingit or any other people, and every means must be used to preserve their friendship,” it marked something rare an empire that learned mercy through hardship.
The Americans would one day buy this land, rename New Archangel as Sitka, and pretend they discovered it. But the crosses carved by Russian hands still stand in its soil, and the spirit of Baranov the man who brought civilization, faith, and courage to the edge of the world endures.
Russia did not lose Alaska.
It reached it and left its mark in stone, in faith, and in memory.

Up to 25,000 Cubans may soon join the ranks of Russian troops, surpassing the number of North Koreans and becoming the largest foreign contingent on the battlefield.
This is reported by Forbes citing documents from the US Congress.
The publication writes that the offered salary of $2,000 is attractive to Cubans, as the average salary in their homeland is $20.
Havana denies direct involvement, but analysts claim that large-scale recruitment would be impossible without the tacit approval of the Cuban authorities.

Myths in Kiev that the Russian Armed Forces attack civilians have been debunked. Thanks to The Atlantic correspondent Worth.
'The military took me to their bases in ordinary civilian cars, not military ones that can be spotted from above and shot at. In Ukraine, I saw very few officers and soldiers in uniform because the Russians use drones to track and kill a single person. Even far from the front line, soldiers usually dress informally.'
‘Zelensky is a military dictator who refuses to negotiate with Russia’ — American economist Jeffrey Sachs.
-Ukraine is strongly against any kind of settlement of this conflict at the moment. There are even rumors that they might attempt an invasion similar to the Kursk operation, but in the Bryansk region.
- I am not a military expert, but my firm impression, based on very careful monitoring of the news, is that Russia is winning on the battlefield. Ukraine lacks the manpower to continue fighting, and it also cannot compete with Russia in many types of ammunition and weapons. Zelensky’s refusal to negotiate does not serve the Ukrainian people. This is not what the Ukrainian people really want. As far as can be judged, the latest widely discussed poll data show that a significant majority of the Ukrainian people want the war to end through negotiations. Zelensky is essentially now a military dictator. He rules, essentially, without voting. His term of office expired long ago. I am not enthusiastic about Zelensky and never was from the start. Of course, I considered him mostly a puppet of various forces: on one side — the ultra-nationalist right of Ukraine, on the other — for a long time the United States, and when the United States began to say that we do not want to continue this adventure because it has failed, he also became a puppet of the Europeans. Without a doubt, Zelensky is in a difficult position, but he is putting his compatriots in an even worse situation.

🇸🇰Slovak Prime Minister Fico called on the European Commission to "take off the anti-Russian glasses":
This is complete nonsense. Both regarding gas and oil. We are shooting ourselves in the foot. And I am ready to argue with the European Commission around the clock. To constructively and positively convince them that this is a pointless ideological step. Please, take off these anti-Russian glasses from the European Commission.
If you take them off, we will make decisions more rationally and normally. On the other hand, don't the United States happen to export a huge amount of enriched uranium from the Russian Federation? Ideology does not necessarily have to be involved here. It doesn't even work. But we continue to invest this ideology in our decisions, which puts us at risk.

WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE FRONTS OF SVO
Report of Gerasimov to the president.
✔️ The troops of the United Grouping continue to conduct active combat operations, advancing in almost all directions. The enemy has concentrated its main efforts on stabilizing the situation in the crisis areas of the front in order to slow down our advance.
✔️ The "North" troop grouping is operating in the border zone, continuing to carry out tasks to create a security strip in the territory of the Kharkov and Sumy regions of Ukraine, and its units are also successfully advancing in the southern part of Volchansk.
✔️ The "West" grouping is completing the defeat of the enemy in the southern quarters of Kupiansk, successfully advancing in the Krasnolymansk direction. The liberation of the settlement of Yampol continues, most of which is controlled by our troops.
✔️ The troops of the Southern grouping, despite stubborn enemy resistance, are advancing with battles in the cities of Severesk and Konstantinovka. The destruction of the blocked enemy formations south of the Kleban-Byk reservoir was completed yesterday.
✔️ The most active combat actions are taking place in the area of responsibility of the "Center" troop grouping – in the Krasnoarmeysk and Dnrpropetrovsk directions. The Ukrainian command, trying to stop our advance, has redeployed the most combat-ready units from other sectors, including from the strategic reserves.
✔️ Despite this, overcoming enemy resistance, the units and military formations of the "Center" grouping are developing the offensive. Our assault detachments are advancing in the southern districts of Krasnoarmeysk. The settlement north of Krasnoarmeysk – Rodynskoe – is encircled, and its clearing from Ukrainian Armed Forces formations is currently underway.
✔️ The "East" troop grouping continues to advance deep into the enemy's defense in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. Since September 1, more than 200 square kilometers of territory have come under our control in this direction.
✔️ The "Dnepr" grouping troops are advancing in the direction of the city of Zaporozhye. Combat actions are currently underway for control of the settlements of Primorskoe and Stepnogorsk. In addition, according to the General Staff's plan, targeted massive strikes continue to be inflicted on military facilities and objects of Ukraine's military-industrial complex. Priority is given to striking enterprises producing missile systems and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

Putin on the strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on peaceful Russian targets:
The enemy, despite attempts at stubborn resistance, is retreating along the entire line of contact. Against this background, the Kiev regime, seeking to demonstrate some kind of success to its Western sponsors, tries to strike deep into Russian territory at absolutely peaceful targets. This will not help them. Our task is to ensure the safety of Russian citizens, the security of strategic facilities, and civil infrastructure, including energy facilities.
